Queen Silver laughed lightly, but watched Rose carefully. Rose had panicked, which definitively meant she was hiding a very big secret.
"Oh, of course a tribe wouldn't send it's tribe leader. It's very risky coming to this meeting, though no assassins have come yet."
Silver smiled at her little joke to herself and wondered why Rose was so tense. Then she remembered when the wolf-demon girl had killed some rabbits and Rose fed off it's... "Chi".
Silver leapt out the window, holding onto the curtains with her toes like a bungee cord, grabbed a nearby pigeon and slit it's throat. She silently handed it to Rose, praying for order to be kept.

cozork saw the way which Rose looked at him.
he knew she was under a lot of stress. he put his arm around her, trying not to interrupt their conversation too much as he did so. he asked her soothingly.
"is there anything you need from me? if there is anything at all, just ask and i will do what i can"
he realised he had not actually spoken the words, but he knew she had heard them non the less. it seemed like their connection was growing stronger by the minute. this was completely new to cozork, and it almost scared him
what happened then completely threw him off his trail of thoughts, the queen handing her a dead animal?
he did not know what to think, so he simply watched and wondered

Rose immediately grabbed the pigeon, even forgetting to say the usual 'sorry' she always murmured before eating in front of non-Kitsune. She held her mouth close to the wound and dragged the Chi out of the small pigeon's body. It wasn't much, birds had always been beings with low chi. Beaten only by insects and creature's of the dark. But, still, this should last for a few hours. Rose sighed happily as she had emptied the pigeon and murmured "thanks"
"I think, it'll be okay" Rose mentally replied to Cozork "I'll last for a few hours at least, and then I could go for a hunt" she smiled at him with a little blood around her mouth and Chi still flowing faintly from the pigeon and into her mouth. She wiped it away with her sleeve. Again she was schocked by how happy she was to have met Cozork, he cared about her so much! She smiled even broader.
Glancing around the room she noticed how everyone seemed to be glowing a little more than before. She kept her smile steady while doing this. It seemed that most of the unfriendliness from before had vanished and the room was filled with a warmth

"My tribe doesn't offer good, but controls the routes and posts. We find out what tribes have to offer, what they need, and set up routes in order transport the goods safely between the tribes." Estelle said to Rose. Trading directly between tribes can often cuse confusion and difficulties, so trading through the Lumiere Clan helps deter these problems. We just take a small payment, normally a percentage of the profits one tribe--" Estelle stopped as the Queen brought the dead bird to Rose, and as Rose did...soemthing to the bird.
"Wha..What are you doing?"

Silver frowned at the Lumiere's disgusted tone.
"What? Pfft, just because something's different... See, our kind of people eat the meat. They eat the..."
Silver stopped. She was probably dishonoring the Kitsune tribe majorly, she realized.

Rose glanced at Estelle again. "I'm sorry.. I was just so hungry, and I hadn't even realised it before just now. Believe me, if you thought that was disgusting you would really have gone crazy from watching what I might have done." she murmured, and then realised this girl might not know all that much about Kitsune "Oh, yeah, and it's the way we feed. Like vampires we live by consuming other beings' Chi, only we don't need the blood, we just take the Chi directly out of any open wound on the being's body. So technically what I just did was taking that pigeon's life force for myself because I don't have anything left in my own body."

cozork smiled, he had almost forgotton that Rose was after all a kitsune, and did need to feast on other spirits.
not that dissimilar to himself really, though he would never tell the people around him that shadow demons were like vampires of the soul. they feed on human willpower. whilst the feeding itself causes no harm, if he fed too much on one being, thay would without a doubt lose the will to live.
he had however fed very recently, and never fed much from one person, so as to cause little or no harm.
"good, i hope it will"
he replied to rose

A wisp of smoke filters through the room, solidifying near Cozork and the Queen. "What is this I hear of negotiations over? Have I been forgotten already?" she says accusingly eyes flashing. A self made wind seems to emanate from her body blowing her silver hair around wildly. Risika's eyes flash silver and her usually pale lips are a dark red. The shadows in the room cling to her body, creating darkness where there should be none. This is Risika in her glory.
"I would not have thought it possible for anyone to forget the Mistress of Shadow, yet here we are. Peace...is not yet achieved. I have returned to deliver a message," Risika says threateningly. Her eyes on all members of the room and slowly her eyes flood with silver color and than darken to a pure black, her teeth are elongated and she holds herself in a fighters stance. A deep, dark voice, very unlike Risika's own rolls out of her mouth, and you realize she is nothing more than a vessel at this time,"We will no longer be forgotten in the desert, nor fade from this world when we are not allowed to follow your path. The last of my people have been burned by your hatred. You will accept us or pay the bloody cost. It is time we remind you to fear the dark,"
Risika's body shudders and she turns to smoke before re-solidifying once more into her more normal self, her eyes have returned to silver and the shadows no longer cling quite so much. "So my people have decreed, what say you?" she asks firmly, but warily, being a host for another's thoughts and words are draining.

cozork felt his own power surge as Risika entered the room.
he watched with interest as she delivered her peoples message.
he thought it slightly entertaining that when she was at her most powerful it created deep shadows which in turn made him more powerful.
he listened to the message and shrugged it off for the minute.
he turned to Rose sensing that sha had to be somewhere else.
"it's ok if you have to leave he said, i'm sure we will see eachother again soon"
he leant over and placed his arms around her
"don't worry about a thing"

Queen Silver put her hands on her hips. "About time someone gave me trouble!" She was very shaken, but was also determined to lighten the mood. Silver also knew that while she didn't cause this, she was completely responsible for solving this problem.
"Ahh... Risaka? Could you manage to contact... your people... once more? As the Queen of the Kingdom of Shuijin, I will negotiate." Silver pronounced the last sentence as queenly as she could, and hoped for the best.

Rose felt Cozork's arms around her and enjoyed the feeling for a second before replying "It's okay, I don't want to miss out on this and... I want to stay with you for as long as I can, each second I spend away from you tears on my heart."
Then she stared in disbelief as Risika appeared in the middle of the room. She had never seen anyone glorifying this well in the darkness before. She listened hard while she told them the message. Rose decided not to say anything for the moment, but heard every word the others said. She felt her limbs grow even heavier and regretted not taking a short hunt when she had the chance.

cozork could feel rose's weakness as she was so close.
he knew that what he was about to do might not be such a smart idea, but being half demon had its benefits. he knew that letting go of his human side could in theory let loose his demonic rage, but he hoped that with Rose around that wouldn't happen.
he stared at his fore-arm with a tense gaze. a tiny shadow, looking like a very sharp piece of black glass nicked the surface of his arm, he held it for Rose
he thought to her a few words
"i am honoured that you wish to stay"
"don't worry, its perfectly safe, and you need it more than i"
