 Calypso I am the sea
The sky grew stormy at best as Tia raised a hand, ice blades raising viciously beneath the other goddess from the water on deck, watching as Jack pulled the rope over his shoulder and scurried over to Cassandra.
Calypso soon emerged from Tia and lightening struck the deck, before bouncing off towards Illumine. "I am not some wielder of the ocean as you seem to think," Calypso said, her eyes narrowing as she raised a hand, ready to strike again.

 The Sisterhood of Slaughter
Choose your fate... Ferathi Orlerretyn The finesse of the winds,
Cassandra Nayime The rage of the fires,
Tessa Orinae The chill of the seas,
Vanessa Halderi The might of the Earth. Blade after blade snapped as the spherical barrier shifted their force about it, while the arcing lightning seemed to ripple all about the defensive, causing Illumine a slight disorientation. Still a single sweep of her blade had Cassandra stumbling back with a wide gash across her shoulders. As if that weren't enough she threw her free hand down and a wide pillar of light shot up around her, threatening both Jack's and Cassandra's annihilation.Ferathi had to take a moment's breath, angling slightly higher and taking advantage of the already-going streaks of lightning arcing over Illumine's barrier. With the drop of both hands, three more bolts shot down, connecting and intertwining with Calypso's assault and removing the second layer of Illumine's defenses.
"Dammit..." she muttered as she realized, "doing this without Seriel is going to be a bit rough..."Vanessa rushed to Cassandra, pulling her aside while erecting a stone barricade in front of Jack to absorb the goddess' onslaught. She did have clairvoyance enough though to regard Calypso with a slightly expectant look in her eye, before jumping back from another of Illumine's mundane assaults.Obliteration On Cheetos:

Calypso I am the sea
Calypso narrowed her eyes as tendrils of water sprang to life on the deck, protecting Jack and Cassandra while spreading across to Illumine. Calypso rose on a pillar of water and raised a hand, ice closing in quite like a shell and hardening, stronger than glacier ice, slowly growing smaller in diameter, closing in on Illumine.
Jack looked around rather wildly at the tendrils before breaking open a lamp and setting the end of his rope on fire. He tied it to one of the axes and threw it, sinking it into the ice around Illumine, where the ice melted before refreezing, stronger than before. He tied the other end to a cannon and employed the help of Mr. Porter who had come on deck, to fire it, causing the rope to snap backwards.

You walk in the light. You see in the shadows, the world of corruption. 'Tis only a dream. It will all end. This nightmare will be over, And I alone will remain victorious.
The collapsing of the ice about Illumine quickened at an inverted inflection through the third layer of Illumine's barrier, quickly rendering it useless to her, though before long she had blast its entirety out of existence, and without any immediate surroundings hurled her weapon at Vanessa, the light plunging through the girl's heart as though through paper.
With little more than a gasp, she fell to her knees and face-first onto the ship's deck floor, dead.A dance of fires wove down both of Cassandra's arms, her exponentially rising anger broken directly into rage. As she clapped her hands at arm's length in front of her five streams of fire broke loose all about Illumine's final defensive, the absorptive ripples forming so rapidly that before seemingly any time had passed the goddess' final defense was down.Ferathi hovered in silence, her blade lowered slightly. With her free hand clenched, numerous sparks could be seen trailing away from it on the winds.

Calypso I am the sea
Calypso seemed to grow in size, a shriek rising from her before she collapsed inwards on herself, a wave pummeling the ship before orienting itself into a pillar at its side, energy arcing through it, and it dispelled its energy at Illumine, five streaks of ice lightening, energy in a raw, frozen form. Jack leapt out of the line of fire and skidded away on his stomach, colliding with the main sail with a small yelp of pain.

Illumine threw both her hands out above her, channeling the oncoming power into her own before realizing its absolutely raw state and jumping away, multiple failed conversions of energy bursting about her. The light-source katana reformed in her hand, and with a look to Ferathi's airborne figure she stepped, again and again appearing but only long enough to launch a strike at the Elf.
One parry, two, three even before Ferathi traded blows, a cut down Illumine's arm in exchange for her own left wing. Blood trailed above her as she fell with a merciless crunch to the floor below, unconscious from sheer value of pain.

Calypso I am the sea
As soon as the elf hit the deck, The sea lurched violently and pulled the Duchess under, trapping it in a bubble of air. Calypso's voice rippled around them. "You cannot win Illumine. Even if you kill everyone else, there will always be me. Two immortals, locked in an endless battle, forever," A jagged spear of ice broke through the bubble, aiming to impale Illumine upon the end.
Jack struggled to sit up, his head pounding. He was disoriented by the water around them, and the fish in it, while he smelt blood. He lurched upright and glared at Illumine for a moment before going to the helm. He kicked the rifle there into his hands and looked through the still open hatch to below, the crew huddled around the entrance, not willing to come out. "All hands to stations you bloody pirates!" he yelled, and they slowly came out and began to timidly go to sailing stations while Jack sized up his shot, unsure if he would make it, wincing at the damage that would be caused.

Illumine hadn't missed a single beat. With the same turn she cut through the pointed offensive, hurled her blade in a dartlike manner at Jack's face and pivoted away from the oncoming ice.
"I find it interesting how long you are willing to let them make their sacrifice than simply surrender," she remarked, "hasn't this petty squabbling gone on long enough?"
As if in answer, a swirl of black mists solidified several paces from Illumine, Fienna's scythe already formed behind her, eyes blazing with a perpetual hatred of the one she faced.
"You lied to me, Illumine. You said that you can bring back my parents, but your power over life was stripped from you the same day you died. You are just as much a fool as all these others, and if it's the very last thing I do, I will put an end to it."

Jack jerked sideways as he saw both the sword and ice headed towards him. A deep gash was opened on the side of his face and dark blood oozed from the wound. He gritted his teeth and fired at the barrel rolling around in the cargo hold. It ignited and soon more of the barrels had caught, and an explosion occurred next to Illumine, collapsing the deck beneath her and Fienna. Jack fell backwards and closed his eyes, his face throbbing and his head pounding.

 }------Fienna Morael------{ I have seen many falls. Many deaths, countless uprisings. Even now, it calls my name. And I have answered. Death comes unto me, But I do not repay Death... I pay it forward.
Fienna's scythe spun about her as she and Illumine fell below deck before she slammed it down the goddess' back, effectively replacing her spine with the blade of her scythe and for absolute certainty, she ran a long stream of blue energy down the shaft and into Illumine, snuffing out every last trace of life in her.
Still she could not mistake the pains of the same explosion and debris having blasted across her back, and she stumbled to the side, nearly collapsing onto the nearest wall.
Tessa's bonds vanished, leaving her to drop to the deck on her hands and knees, unable to tear her eyes away from the carnage of her greatest friends. Hardly able, much less willing to breathe she had no will at all to keep from crying, and this she did quite well.

Jack stumbled down the steps and effectively fell on his face as the Duchess lurched above the ocean. "My ship!" He whispered painfully, before letting his own pain go beyond him and stumbling over to Tessa. He scooped her up and sat with her, gently rocking her. "I'm sorry Tessa," He whispered. "So sorry," The crew stumbled towards them and Mr. Porter bowed his head in respect, the rest of the crew doing the same. "Illumine's gone," Jack said quietly.
Calypso appeared nearby off ship and easily pulled herself up to the deck. She walked over to Tessa and Jack and brought herself to one knee. "Great pains for one undeserving," She said softly before looking to Jack. "And you, what would you do for her?" She asked, and Jack looked up at her.
"Anything," He said, and Calypso smiled.
"Good," She said, looking over to Tessa's fallen comrades.

So warm... The flares of a burning passion. The focus, the power. Here I stand, Here I dream... The faith of an untold force of magic. Slowly burning...
Cassandra ran over to Ferathi and knelt down beside her, inspecting her injuries and checking her heartbeat with a frown. She looked back to the crew, a demanding look in her face.
"She'll make it," she called, "but is there no way we can get this patched or at least stem the back bleeding?"
Tessa flung her arms around Jack's shoulders and buried her face in one of them, making several vain efforts to say something but unable to get past her own shaky breathing. At last she managed a faint whisper.
"Why...?"

Calypso stepped over to Ferathi and placed a hand on the injury. The wet of the deck shimmered into mist and flowed into the elf,re knitting skin and viens, before branching out into a wing shape. Calypso's lips trembled slightly as she recited the language of healing silently. She pulled a feather from the other wing and crushed it in her fist before the lost wing was restored, if weak and flawed slightly. "The rest will come in time, she must heal the rest of the way herself," Calypso told Cassandra before straightening and kneeling next to Vanessa, but with a sigh bowed her head and closed her eyes.
Jack sighed and kissed the side of Tessa's head. "I can only assume she would need help binding a soul from the other side, although I can not imagine how," He said softly.

Fienna made her way back to deck after a swift and magically augmented recovery, hardly giving a moment's pause to view the surrounding events.
"She won't be coming back," she said in a low tone to Jack, "her very essence is devoid of itself; she has no life to live with outside of mortal existence."
With that she lifted herself up and over the ship's edge, her wings bursting out behind her as she sped away into the night.
"I wasn't even... talking about Illumine, Jack. Vanessa's gone, there's death everywhere... all this damned fighting, has no one ever heard of allowing reason for hope, instead of crushing it...?"

"I was not speaking of Illumine either," Jack said, before he gasped slightly, feeling a tug at his essence. Calypso was a mere shadow of herself, quite nearly see through copy of herself, as she communicated with the dead, only to snap back into color violently. She looked up at Jack and shook her head before standing and going to the side of the ship, her hair stirring in the breeze. Jack sighed and looked around at his ship. "Run us to shore, any shore," Jack told Mr. Porter who nodded.
