"Yes ma'am," She says, pushing the girl from her to enter swiftly, having caught sight of the direction in which the blur was traveling. It had dodged under the bed and quickly Lillian got to her knees, flashing the light from her candle underneath it. Two bright blue glints could be seen before the scratching and scuttling began again. It shot from under the bed over to the tub.

All Lillian saw before it disappeared into the lip of the bath was a bit of blue scaly tail. She stood up slowly, eyes trained on the tub, to make sure that if it bolted she would be able to follow it with her eyes. She approached the tub slowly, one step in front of the other, growing more weary every inch she drew nearer.

Once she could see over the lip she held the light farther out to chase the shadows from the depth of the tub. She then saw its light reflect off of something of an ancient deep ocean color, glinting up at her. There she saw a very small creature that was similar to the ones that the woman had surrounding her. It seemed calm for the moment, lapping up the rest of the bath water that hadn't been drained.

"I'm confused ma'am. Isn't this your creature? It looks like the four you've got." She hesitantly sat the candle on the soap dish, noticing for the first time the disarray that the room was now in, the candelabra on top of the dresser fallen to the floor, some of its sticks snapped in half, the curtains torn, a dent into the side of the tub itself, the bed sheets ruffled to the point of it being almost unrecognizable, and the womans personal items that used to lie in her bag now sprawled across the floor.

Isabel shook her head. "No! You really think I would be running from Scylla? Please." Isabel took a step in and the other blue dragon darted forward, leaping off the bed int her arms next to the red one. "This is Scylla." She motioned all too matter of factly in Lillian's direction.

"But if this is mine, what is that one?"

After her question, Ladon, started to slowly crawl towards the drinking lizard. His scales sparkling against the light that Lillian had brought in. He inched closer. He had to know if it was a threat.

The purple lizard was chewing on a silver coin on the middle of the bed, as if its oblivious to what is going on around it.

Lillian returned her gaze to the creature in the tub and a soft feeling came upon her when she saw it looking at her, tail wrapped around itself, staring almost as intently at her as she was at it. She reached down a hand, not knowing exactly how any of these creatures would react. This action could have been from her sleepy stupor or from the feeling of a connection between the two beings, but she did it anyways without hesitation.

She reached into the tub and picked up the middle of the lizard like creature, a way that she had seen the woman pick up one of her own lizards earlier. She then gathered it close as it began to curl around her arm slightly and ball up in her warmth. She then looked up at the girl slightly shocked.

"Did yours do this when you first found them?" She asked, being calmed by the beginnings of a small purr resonating deep within the beast.

Isabel nodded. "Something similiar... err... no. I dont know. I had a faint when I first saw mine. I kind of woke up surrounded by the things. We kindda stuck ever since." She pet the two in her arms, and then sat them down.

They ran off over to the green one and the three disappeared into the darkness of the corner, hiding from the new dragon, while the purple let out small hiccup, and then finished chewing on the coin.

"They are all different. Perhaps you just found yourself some sort of companion."

"That would be nice. Its been pretty lonely since I lost my sister." She said, stroking the little dragons head gently. The sleep that she was in before the fiasco had started was starting to set in again. Lillian looked over to the woman and saw that she too wasn't looking her freshest.

"This whole night and I've yet to learn your name or with which ship you sail. Would you mind so much for me asking?"
PostPosted: Thu Dec 27, 2007 8:43 am

"Well I didn't think it was needed given you had you pay. But very well..." Isabel never really volunteered any information freely, but this one didn't seem so bad, but then you couldnt always judge much from a persons look. After all, She herself was a force to be reckoned with and she didn't look it.

"The name's Isabel." She yawned and looked at the fatigue the other was showing. "Perhaps proper exchanges should be left for the light of the sun rather than candle light."

Lillian Yawned widley, trying not to disturb the now sleeping creature in her hands. "That sounds fine." She said, her eyes drooping almost to the floor.

"Sorry to leave your room in such a disarray, Mrs. Isabel. I promise to have it cleaned whenever you wish in the morning." She stood from her perch on the edge of the bath and walks towards the open door.

"Breakfast is served at around 8:00, or till whenever the Mistress of the establishment decides to wake. I'll have the room cleaned while you're eating." As she left the door way she turned around.

"Good night. Call me again if another one of these buggers appear." And with that she left the room, down the hall and back to her bed to rest till the next morning.

Isabel found her way straight to bed, after that. She wasn't sure why another serpentine creature decided to show its face in such a manor, but such is life. She laid down on the bed, as uncomfortable as it was and fell asleep.

The mornings light woke her up, but not the four creatures sleeping in all different areas. She was able to see just how much of a jumble the room had been left it. Not much she could really do about it now though.

She sat down on a crate she flipped over and started to comb through her golden locks with a comb she pulled from her bag. She had before her two little ribbons that match the pinkish purple leather she was wearing. She parted her hair into her trademark pig tails and started to tie them down.

Once done with that, she slipped her boots up the length of her long strong slendor legs, and zipped up the back. Her choice of fashion didn't really add up with those around her. Many didn't understand it, but she liked it, and didn't care what the other people thought of it. They didn't have to wear it. If they didn't want to see it they could close there eyes.

Dressed and ready for the day, Isabel ushered her lizards into her bag. She had plans to go shopping today, and see if she could catch wind of a ship in need of a crew. Her last sipped docked, and she was not a land lover. Rather a siren meant for the seas.

She walked down the stairs, back to the room that she had started the night in. It looked different in the morning lights rays, but it was still a little dirty and run down. A true sign that this was the place to be in this town.

A couple of sea-men already lined the bar eating the gruel of the day, which was flavored like Salted meat. The air was filled with the smell of smoke, alcohol, old wood, and a bit of breakfast. Sizzling sounds could be heard from the back and soon the image of a fully awake, yet yawning, Lillian could be seen stepping from the back room to the bar area.

She looked over and saw the customer from the night before, dressed and awake. She smiled to herself, remembering the special something she had prepared for the guest for the rough night that she had endured. She stepped from the bar, wiping her hands of cooking soot and approached her as the newly arrived guest was sitting at a nearby table.

"Good morning! What'll ya have?" She said, smirking.

Isabel smiled with a nod. She was able to see the girl in all her morning glory. She was a fairly pretty girl, nothing compared at all to herself in her own eyes. Perhaps that was her one great fall, she was a most vain character indeed. But she was kind when the time came for it.

Isabel returned the smile with a nod. "Well I suppose its to early for whiskey, Ill just have some flap jacks and some milk. Make it two milks, one warm if you can do it. For little guys, ya know. they seem to like it warm in the mornings." She pat her back, and it started to wiggle slightly, then died down.

"and ham and sausage... and eggs. Im hungry." She looked down at her stomach. She didn't eat the night before nor the few days before then. She usually didn't eat much at all. One large meal, followed by a few days of picking at this and that, then back to a large meal. It seemed to do her well.

"Coming right up," She said, smiling to her self. She Left the table with the order memorized in her head. She walked back to the Kitchen, noticing a few things; One of the customers at the bar passed out beside his bowl of porridge, the windows need a bit of dusting, the floor sweeping, and the bar a good rub down. All of a sudden her smile wasn't too bright anymore.. The place was a drab... and would always be.

She made it to the back of the kitchen and began putting the requested items on a plate, and from the plate onto the serving board. While she was gathering the whole selection she had set one of the glasses of pure fresh milk onto the hot plate near the stove to heat it up. She grabbed Isabel's surprise and placed it on the board and after that, picked up the two glasses of Milk and headed out, back onto the floor. She maneuvered carefully, balancing the plain wooden circle that rested on her shoulder, not dropping a drip of milk from its glass.

She sat the board in front of the lass and began unloading the load, smiling once more when revealing the medium bowl of fresh fruit cut up and prepared from the stash she had found earlier that morning. She made up an order of it for Isabel in payment for having to retire in such a displaced room. She would later that day have to go to the market to shop back the fruit that she used though in the afternoon before the mistress noticed they were missing. "Here you are!"
PostPosted: Thu Jan 03, 2008 5:08 am

Isabel was more than delighted to see the fruit on the board. She didn't expect such an establishment as this to have any. after all pirate, or sailor, fruit was not something they really wanted. Meat and bred, meat and wine... that was what she found they loved the best.

"Well isn't this a nice surprise. I haven't had any fruit in ages. Well not any fresh fruit." She picked up a small piece and popped it in her mouth. She closed her eyes as she slowly chewed, letting all the sugars absorb all throughout her mouth.

Since it was not what she ordered she assumed it was a gift of some sort, and Isabel was not planning to pay for it. Always thinking of her purse. "I bet this is supposed to be expensive int'it." She spoke, with an accent started to shine through. When she wasn't think of it, she often spoke in a slurr of many accents.

Already her four little scaley friends were hopping out of there home and getting ready to eat as they smelt the ham, and sausage, but most of all the milk. Opening the top to her bag the little ones crawled to the table and started to devour there meal, as Isabel continued with the fruit, and flap jacks.

She decided now would be as good a time as any to inquire about there surrounding. "So I need to find mehself a tailor of sorts. I need some fine clothes in a jiffy. And do you know any word of any ships that are supposed to be settin a sailin?"

"Oh, don't worry about paying. Its on the house for last night's mishaps." She said, picking up the serving tray. She smiled at the creatures, crawling around on the table picking at the morsels of food on the plates.

"As to the ships ma'am, I've heard of a few, but I don't know if any are docked at this time. Best thing to do would be to look about the wharf. Sorry I can't be pf much help. I do know though of a good tailor, and I'd be glad to show you myself where it is. My mistress has a package I need to pick up from there anyways. Also I need to do some shopping in the market and its right by it."
PostPosted: Sat Feb 09, 2008 2:25 pm

Isabel thought about the idea for a bit. She probably wouldn't find the tailor alone, so she didn't mind the company. It would actually do her some good she thought. A little time with a girl. She was always surrounded by nasty manor mistreating men. "Well I think it will be a great idea. When do we leave?"

"I just have to go grab a few things and tell the owners that I'm leaving and we can be off." She said, excited to be out of this bar. "I'll go do that right now while you finish eating."

She left with her tray and headed back to the kitchen, removing her apron as she walked. When in the back she put on her day cloak and grabbed a large linen covered basket and then yelled up the back stairs that she was leaving to go run errands. She then entered the main room, seeing again only a few people sitting around eating their gruel or food.
