As the girls began to kiss Fred was pretty sure he had a stroke. He grabbed at George's arm. "Oh sweet Merlin!"

George just stared blinking thinking it would just be some wonderful yet horrible halucination that would just go away. When it didn't, he reached out and tapped the nearest girl on the shoulder. "Um, what exactly is happening here?"

Both girls quickly separated. "I will not lose to her!!" Then immediately went back to making out.

At that moment, the portrait swung open. Enter the golden trio. Everyone quickly began staring akwardly at each other, with the exception of Marilyn and Adalae who were still going at it. Eventually, Hermione had the presence of mind to say "Wha...?"

Realisation dawned on Hermione's face. "Ohhh, gay chicken."
All male heads in the room stared at her with slack jaws. "Yes...um...well...you see, two straight people of the same gender go in for a kiss and whoever chickens out first loses. If the two people are rather comfortable with sexuality, or extremely determined, it can go much further. And I think you may want to pull them apart before it does."
They all looked over to find that not only had the making out not stopped, but Marilyn had wrapped her leg around Adalae and burried her fingers in Adalae's hair. Adalae was busy trying to undo Marilyn's shirt buttons.
