We require to be included in trade routes, council meetings, and tribal negotiations. My people want intermarriages to secure the alliance as well as one more thing...but only Quicksilver has the right to give our last demand," Risika grimaced slightly and then stood as straight and tall as her slender and petite body would allow her, "I am to be your Ambassador in this, as the Mistress of Shadows and daughter to our Prince I claim my right as heir presumptive, does anyone doubt my blood or refute my right?"

"Thank you so much" Rose smiled at Cozork while carefully taking the glass. She could feel him taking a great risk by doing this and felt honoured. "I am so happy I met you" she mind-whispered, she had got the thought out of nowhere but it was very true, still.
"How did you make this and what is it?" she felt it rude to ask, but had to know. It smelled very faintly like some sort of Chi, but Rose wasn't really sure.
She heard Risika's question and allowed her concentration to waver for a minute "I don't doubt you, at least. But did your tribe agree with you being the ambassador?"

cozork looked at rose,
"i emptied a part of my human lifeforce, its yours. i don't need it for the meantime, and it will regenerate slowly anyway"
as he spoke he could feel his being getting a little less human, he could feel his demonic powers surging. with less of the human in him to control the demon, he would be a lot more powerful
his skin darkened and his eyes brightened to a deep orange, the eyes were the things that caused the shadow demons to be feared, as when they envelop you in their shadowy auras, their deep orange eyes are the only thing you can see, and they seem to stare straight into your soul.
his were getting deeper by the second.
he looked over to Risika, she looked as though she was trying to cause trouble... a good time for him to be a bit more demon
if there was going to be a fight, he would be much more of a match now.
"i don't have any reason to dispute anything you say just yet"

Risika laughed and smiled at Rose showing sharp teeth, "They have no choice, now that my precious brother no longer walks this plane." Risika eyed Cozork feeling him emanate more darkness. This would either go very good or very bad, she thought.
Risika took a deep breath and a slight step forward, Cozork smelled...good, dark and crunchy. Risika finds her eyes closed and opens them quickly walking as far from Cozork as possible. "We demand a marriage alliance with every tribe that owes alliance to this Kingdom. We fear not the mixing of blood, and you must no longer fear the mixing of yours," she says firmly glad to hear no waver in her voice.

Rose felt a wave of guiltiness "I, I can't accept this. I mean, it's a part of you." she mind-said, and started to hand it back to him, then she realised her taking this from him would only make him happier, anyway. "Ok, ok, I'll take it" she said as though he'd begged her to do it. When she transferred the chi from the glass and into her body there was a surge of power inside her and she took a deep breath. It was long time since she'd taken the strong and fresh human Chi, and the power she felt now was overwhelming. "Thank you, again" she thought to him.
Rose was stunned by Risika's change of appearance. Wanted to do something about it, but didn't know what. She was just about to say something when suddenly, all the flowers sprang to life around her and she felt the calling towards the new meeting place of her tribe council. "I, I have to go" she said to Cozork and went slowly towards the window "I hope to see you again, despite the tension this was a wonderful evening. Sumimasen" she called on her way out before landing lightly on the usual rooftop. She glanced back into the window one last time and then ran to the south of the city.
((Sorry I'm always leaving so abruptly sad .. Hope to see you again tomorrow, though wink ))

cozork watched as Rose became much more empowered, he did wonder if any of his demon essence was in there
too, but he had seperated the two halves of him just about all his life, so he doubted it
he watched as she was leaving, she looked a lot happier, that made him smile, even with so much of the demon on the surface he was able to smile around her.
then it struck him, he had very little control over his rage and the one person that really soothed him had just left!
his mind began to spin, what would happen now? he had no idea if he could control the anger and hatred that came with his demonic blood.
the rage was creeping up on him fast.
he turned to Risika and smiled a big beaming smile. though he wasn't happy like he normally was. no, this smile was something different.
"looks like its just you and me"
he said, the grin widening ((its ok, yeah, i look forwards to it >.<))

Estelle could feel the strangeness from the other room. It wasn't something she had felt before, very dangerous, very raw, and very powerful. She had heard Risika talk, and it was very strange what she asked for.
Trade routes, that she most definitely could do. If that's what this woman wanted for her tribe, all she need do is ask, and pay the fees. But intermarriage...Well, her clan was a strictly human Clan for a reason. People born under Lumiere blood were very fragile, and children born to a Lumiere human and another non-human creature caused only devastating things.
"If that is what that woman wants..." Estelle whispered to herself, "She will destoy my people." A little louder, to ensure confidence, "I will not allow that to happen." Aww crap...too loud.

cozork turned to see estelle, his newly envigoured demonic eyes practacally glowing, his gaze was piercing, and he did not look much like himself.
"do not worry about it, Risika will not get her own way entirely, even if she did get the rights to marry into my tribe, good luck to her getting a pure blood demon to marry one of her family"
"they would be torn to pieces at the first sign of an argument"
he smiled at the thought, his demon side really was surfacing, and there was next to nothing he could do about it. a sleep would fix it, but he wasn't tired. he was almost becoming short tempered.
'got to hold it together' he kept repeating to himself 'I have to keep this under control, for Rose'

Aww crap...he's not looking to good. I don't think it will be safe here...but I can't just leave him alone.
"I thank you for your concern, Cozork. Perhaps we should...discuss business?" Maybe he's get the hint. Maybe he'd go with her. If Estelle could get him away from conflict, at least until Rose returned, perhaps she could avoid the danger.
Of course, there was always that possibility he wouldn't...
"I, uh, I'm certain this can be resolved in a non-violent matter. That's the point of these gatherings, is it not?"

Red walked in trying to keep a cheery feeling around her, but it was obvious she was exhausted and saddened. she had rings under her eyes from deprived sleep that were poorly covered up with makeup, but she just tried to be happy. she looked over at cozork and snapped out of her funk, quickly going over as she saw the yellow eyes of a demon shining through his.

Estelle saw Red walk right into the are she perceived as a danger zone. "Sppp-Miss, come here, come here...I need to talk to you." Get the girl out of danger was all Estelle could think.

"i know you might think its dangerous, but if he unleashes his demon i could always unleash mine. Coz needs something to calm him down and keeping everybody away won't help much" Red said to Estelle. it's not like she hadn't dealt with another demons rage before, she came from a place with many partial demons and had to learn how to deal with them. she took out a round, translucent stone that seemed to glow white and had a whitish haze in it. "hold this, it'll help" she said to Cozork, holding the stone out to him

cozork looked at the stone with curiosity.
he was very reluctant to take something that he knew nothing about
"it's not that i dont trust you, but what exactly is that?"
he spoke slowly, he was breathing heavily to help keep his temper down. the room was getting darker and he was feeling tense, like he could just snap at any moment.
it dawned on him that he had actually grown around a foot in height in the last half an hour... he was getting stronger too

"this stone was made by my mother, who taught me how to make them. it's made out of light spirits and angelic essence and such and helps fight demonic rage and just the urge to go insane all together just by holding it." Red said, still holding out the stone. her mother had made that one just for her, it was a stone strong enough to fight her own demon that she had held on to so that her demon wouldn't take over her body when she was still young and weak. even if it was one of the only keepsakes of her mother she still had Red felt he could use it more than she would need it.

cozork spoke rigidly, he could feel the stone's presence, just being near it seemed to have some effect.
he looked at the surface of the stone, it was beautiful. and very well crafted.
there was a certain presence about it that was soothing, beyond explanation
