"Yes," Talli nodded, eyes looking up to the guards. "She would have. Melkor does not value life highly, and I'm surprised that there isn't hardly any scratches on you."

"None that you can see..." Legolas replied, smirking slightly, though there was no humor in his voice. He knew that his mind had been rummaged through, but in his current state he could have cared less. He knew there were scars upon his mind that were inflicted by the two women, but the strange sense of loyalty and desire to please that he felt overrode anything that had been done to him. Besides, Melkor had ordered him to blend in, and it was obvious these people hated those within Mordor. The prince made his way straight for the main house. "Tell me... for you have been here more than I of late, where might I find my father?"

Talli's smile wavered, but then he bowed his head, "I believe he might still be in your room. Or last I heard. But first, let us make a stop in the healing wing to at least check you, Prince."

"I do not need a healer. I simply need to rest." Legolas replied wearily. "But I would like to tell my father that I have returned, least he worry more than he has."

"And I shall do that, when you stop at the healing wing so that we know where to look for you," Talli took a hold of Legolas' arm, steering him toward that direction. "I can tell your father you are here, while you are resting."

Legolas narrowed his eyes, "Fine then," he said, looking away suddenly. "I will submit to an examination, but it is not nessecary."

"Thatta boy," Talli smirked. "See? That wasn't so bad. Once we're done you can go see your father and sister and whoever misses you."

As Huor walked to the gates he became nervous. ''Even when there is no war, the city is still guarded by many soldiers.'' Huor thought. He walked up to the gates and waited for someone to come out.

Aaronir and his riders quickly left the city, riding hard and fast toward Mordor. It was getting close of evening, and by the time they reached the edge of the forest, night had fallen. The biting chill of the wind did not reach the Elves however, as they dismounted and fanned out. Aaronir, noticing a strange mist upon the ground, called for his rider's to halt. Something did not sit right with him. "Sir, do you hear that?" one of the Elves asked. Aaronir nodded, "It is too quite... even for night and even for this forest." "What do you wish to tell the Captain?" he asked, referring to Elandere. "That something is amiss, but that we have found no trace of..." The sudden twang of a bowstring brought all of the Elves out of their thoughts as one of their kin fell to the ground. He did not even get a chance to cry out, before the Orc's poisoned arrow had killed him. Aaronir whistled shrilly, ordering his riders back to their mounts. More twangs were heard, and more riders fell, even before they reached their valiant horses. Something slammed into Aaronir's shoulder, sending him sprawling to the ground. He pushed himself up, ignoring the pain in his arm. But another arrow thudded into his back, slamming him back to the dirt. Aaronir cried out, but the sound was suddenly muffled as a sharp Orc boot slammed down between his shoulder blades, shoving the Elf's face into the grass. Not one of the riders made it back to the city. Melkor's army overwhelmed them and, the Elves that were not killed, were bound and guarded. Aaronir, one of those taken into captivity, was soon sought out by the leader of the force... Nufeniel. "You were a scout, sent out by the city.... are you not?" she asked the bound Elf. Aaronir, who was on his knees, had been stripped to the waist, the arrows removed, but his wounds were not yet treated. The Elf nodded his agreement, hardly able to keep upright as his head swam from the Orc poison. "Who ordered you to scout this day?" she asked. "Elandere, Captain of the Elvenking's Guards." Aaronir replied, for it was no secret who now lead the forces of Mirkwood. "You were not sent out by an Elf named Morfinnel? Perhaps Legede?" Aaronir shook his head. Nufeniel smiled, "Good..." she nodded to the two Orc's flanking Aaronir. "Take him back to the others. Make sure they are shown all of the hospitality that your kind are famous for." The Elf paled, but said nothing as he was dragged away. Nufeniel laughed, looking to the commander of this Orc army. "Continue toward the city. We attack within the next few hours."

The guards looked at one another. None had ever come back from Valinor, it was unheard of. Yet the person before them was Elven, that was plain for all of the guards to see, and he did offer his help. "We shall allow you entrance, but you must speak with Caldor, Head of our Lord's House, before you can do anything else." one of them answered, quickly giving the signal to open the gates.

One of the guards stopped him, "Head into the main house. You should check in our Lord's study, or perhaps the recieveing lounge."
