The outline of the landscape around Eden Cuil became bolder as a dark wave began to swell over the land. It looked as though an invading plague was manifesting itself and rotting away the lush surroundings. As the swarm moved closer, and upon closer inspection, one could see this was not at all a creeping disease but perhaps very much the same. It was an army led by a lone general. Te general which rode far in front and led this massive groups was not other than the no doubt, now, much hated Gabriel Tepes.
Gabriel and his men had been moving non-stop since they had left Mordor and now stood at the gates of Eden Cuil. Gabriel rode farther ahead of his men so he stood nearly directly infront of the high wall.
"Open thy gates," Gabriel shouted, "Or I shall force them open!"

The guard at the gate paled, "May I ask who wishes to enter?!" he shouted down before motioning to another guard to go and find Legolas to ask their opinion.

Gabriel sighed and mumbled to himself. "Questions, questions, always with the questions."
Gabriel looked back up to the gaurd and shouted his reply, "Gabriel Tepes, formerly of Mordor, would like to enter, along with his army!"

"And why should I allow you?" Thranduil called down, now on the gate wall and having heard everything the Half-Elf had said. "And do not start by telling me you will destroy the city or bring down the gate or kill us all, for I know you can do that and you know we will try to stop you. I want to know, after all the pain and misery you have caused ths land, why I should let you enter this haven. Why I should let the murderer and the tormentor of my closest friend to enter the home of my son?"

Gabriel was quiet for a long while. "Alright...I'm going to be honest with you...I have no real other reasons than the fact that I will destroy your city. BUT! I mean no hostile actions towards your city otherwise. My army, and myself I admit, and this stranger I take with me are quite weary and seek refuge. You would deny a traveller in need?"

Thranduil thought on that, "It is not in my nature to be trusting, Half-Elf. Nor is it in my nature to harbor one who causes pain for their enjoyment... but it is in my son's nature, so I have learned, to help those who seek that help honestly and, you have sought it. If you swear by your life that neither you nor anyone associated with you will harm any person within these walls... then you have your refuge."

Thranduil motioned for the gates to be opened. He wished they were sealed with Elven magic, like those of his own kingdom, but the blond Elf supposed that having guards open the doors to be just as sufficient.
"I do not know if I have heard such a phrase, but I hope I can trust your word."
Then, the gates of Eden Cuil opened for the newcomers.

Gabriel and his army rode in and killed everyone and burned down the town.
OOC:I'm just kidding

Gabriel and Tusk, who had been riding next to him, rode into the city first and carefully as well. After a short while Gabriel's army followed them inside and the once greatest threat of the city at a time, was in the city.

Thranduil descended the steps from the gate to meet up with Gabriel.
"So, you are fleeing Mordor then?" he asked the Half-Elf with a raised eyebrow. "Something about the first evil of this world, not sit right with you?"

Gabriel who had not been much to joke cocked the side of his mouth in a light smile and replied. "Well I figured it was a tough act to follow, so might as well not pursue it." Gabriel sat back on his horse a bit and let the inkling of a smile fade from his face. "I follow my goddess, and she is here, thus I am here. No more than that. And when the time comes to defend her honor against Nufeniel and her master, my army and myself will be at arms. And I trust, perhaps not by choice, our armies will fight side by side."

"You goddess resides here?" Thranduil asked in confusion, "I have not seen her, though, I will admit, I have not been out and about in the city much today. Tell me, you did all of this for your goddess, correct? Why then, would she be here?"

"You are the curious one aren't you? Ah, well, I do not blame you for your interest, you have a city to protect. She has come here in search of her much beloved brother of course. She of course did not go through this gate, twas magic that set her in the city. So if you feel you must blame yourself for an unknown guest, it would be wise not to."
