Gasp! Did Kurogane have a sense of humor peeking through? Fai hummed a smile, planning to congratulate the ninja on such ability later on. With hair now tied cleaning out of his face, the mage watched as Kuro adorned the black attire...well, above his other black clothes. It suited him, even in the form of a puppy. "Nice nice!~"
Fai stood too, tails sweeping at his feet as he gave the coat one last snuggle. Then he lifted it around and over his shoulders, slipping the wings through. Perfect fit! How had Rune known? A joyful giggle bubbled from the mage, and he clapped his paws while skipping over to Kurogane, tugging on his sleeve. "Kurowan! We can go play in the snow now!" If there was one thing Fai didn't enjoy, it was being cooped inside without anything to do. That was simply no fun. Ears flitted back to their gifter, and Fai swivelled on his heel to pad over to the femme. His own paw reached out to hers, and he graced a friendly kiss on the top of her paw, much like a gentleman's gesture. "I love it, and I'm certain Kurogane is quite taken with his gift also." A smile was flashed to the other male. "Thank you dearly, Rune-chan." He'd have to repay her someday, in some form. She was too kind to overlook or forget in such a way. Blue eye blinked to the seated kitsu, and he tilted his head. "Ne, does Rune-chan want to go outside now?" He left the option up to the ninja and SeeD. Either way, he was happy grasping at his hoodie and snuggling in it's fluffy warmth. <3

Kurogane only smirked proudly as he was complimented by the mage. He did look good in the coat, but that was thanks to Rune for even getting the coat for him. He glanced at the female with a look that seemed to say ' why wouldn't we like them?'
The ninja huffed in agitation as the mage tugged on the sleeve of his new coat. He batted the mage off, smoothing out unseen wrinkles. Play out in the snow? Why the hell not, they had the coats to go out now and he was getting cabin fever for having to stay in their room so much. He huffed a long sigh before shrugging.
" Whatever you guys wanna do..." He didn't care either way, but he too left it open for Rune to decide. He folded his arms over his chest, preparing to turn to the fireplace and close the glass doors so no fires would start while they were out fi they did decide to 'play in the snow.'

A faint blush colored Rune's cheeks over her light smile at the gentlemanly gesture. Oh, there were enough 'gentlemen' in her family that the notion was not foreign but usually never directed at her. Certainly not since the sailor had been more on his ship with Seer. AearHwesta was one of the few that would seek the White SeeD out to check upon her. Zell of course, for training, but if the hyper fistfighter had any such skills to his name Rune suspected they would only emerge when someone touched his heart. Blink. oh... she had let her thoughts start to run away with her again. Really that was a terrible habit. Daydreaming was one thing, but this was ridiculous.
Shaking her head with a soft laugh at the lot of them, Rune lightly hopped from her chair to fetch her over-coat. "Snow then." She said with an almost silly smile. Why not test the coats out, now that the boys had theirs on? With a practice motion Rune donned the ivory poncho & pulled the hood over her head to fit her ears through. "Oh yes... there should be kitsu-ready gloves in the pockets if you want them. Her smile turned slightly embarrassed. "I'm still accustomed to putting gloves on in the winter myself." Almost playfully the White SeeD waggled her black gloved paws in front of her towards them.

Fai smiled to his own wicked charm and Rune's lovely shyness. Actions spoke louder than words, yes? And he was truly appreciative to the gift he wore. Watching as the femme padded to the coat hook, Fai slid on over beside the ninja. A short claw prodded and poked at Kurogane's cheek, Fai smiling widely. "We're going on another adventure Kuro!" What fun!
And without another word, the mage was was gone in a blur. The only evidence left of him being there was the open door, and the echo of his giggles down the hall. He wanted to be in the white powders so like those of his home world. The male opened the front door to the HQ, not minding al lthe other lodge visitors as he continued on outside. The snow was fresh and poofy. Untouched. Gloves were slipped on his slim paws as he padded down the length of the front porch, till he reached the end corner. He flashed an honest smile to the icicles hanging above, as if they were small birds perched there instead of ice daggers. Another step, and the mage bellyflopped into the white cushion of snow with a comforting crunch. And he laid there as if it was a soothing beach, tails sweeping contently behind him.

Kurogane glared at the mage as he poked his cheek, snapping his teeth playfully at his paw as the mage pulled it back. Was playing out in the snow what the mage called an adventure?
A small huff escaped the ninja as he watched the mage disappear into the hallway, though a small smirk dig tug at his maw. He padded over to the door, holding it open for Rune before following the mage's path outside, closing the door behind him.
Making his way into the main room, nodding curtly to the others who inhabited it before slipping out, once again holding it open for Rune before shutting it behind them. Once outside he stood on the porch silently, his eyes squinting and adjusting to the sudden, blinding light that snow always seemed to reflect. Once he could see he searched for the mage, chuckling softly when he caught sight of the idiot flopped out in the snow.
Sometimes he just didn't understand the idiot, and yet there were other times where he understood him completely. Though the former did out number the latter by quite a bit. He let out a soft sigh, watching the cloud of breath swirling from his maw. He wasn't one for playing in the snow but the mage was just too good of a target.
Kurogane reached out toward the banister of the porch, scooping up some of the snow into his gloved paws, rolling it between them as he stepped off the porch. A few crunchy steps and then he aimed, tossing the snowball into the air, watching it land right on the back of the mage's head.
" Oi! Don't fall asleep now."

Relm looked at the door with a blink as the white blur went past, automatically pulling her paws back. Those wide eyes sought out Kurogane's red gaze and instantly calmed seeing the hint of curl to his mouth. The White SeeD was back to herself as she smiled her thanks to the ninja for his gentlemanly action as she stepped past him and on into the main area.
Hey shyness and tendency to avert from others became apparent as she she kept to Kurogane's side -close but without touching- as they passed through the main room, her green eyes wide and alert, a small shy smile on her face, flicking her ears in small waves as any form of acknowledgment rather than even a nod. She relaxed softly and visibly to eyes such as those she had chosen for companions. More than relaxed, her smile warming almost instantly to hear the ninja's quiet chuckle and see Fai so apparently happy and comfortable...
Her paws pranced lightly on the porch, eager to get out and play in the snow. Halted by Kurogane's words, a blink as he threw the snowball... and then she was giggling. Giggling happily like a free and playful kit. Something even as a child Rune had not been. Still giggling Rune let the prancing of her paws lift her in a little dance step then out and into the white powder, dancing lightly around the mage & using her wings the slightest amount so that her paws when they touched did not sink very far into the snow.

Pale ears wriggled curiously as the mage heard the crunchings behind him. The scent was Kurogane, with Rune not too far behind. Blue tails continued sweeping on the snow as the mage refused to move. The coat made well to keep him warm against the icey ground. That is until he felt a good sized snowball collide into the back of his head, flakes sliding down onto his neck. His fur stood on end when the cold touch reached such a tender spot, and the lanky mage bolted up, wailing flailing in a circle to his 'attack'. He grasped his hoodie, pulling it tight against his hair and face to block and rub off the chill. "Nyaaaa! I wasn't sleeping!" Kurorin could be so cruel~
Blue eye scanned for the giggling Rune, the mage surprised to hear that sound from her. He smiled as the female danced joyfully about him, before his eyes held a sneaky glint. Using Rune's adjusting wings as cover, the mage ducked down and formed a snowball of his own. With a wing to Rune and waiting for her to pass, Fai tossed his small weapon right back at the ninja. If it hit or not, he could only hold his breath to wait and see.

Kurogane chuckled to himself before eyeing Rune curiously. She was giggling. Now giggling wasnt new to him, but hearing Rune giggle, was. Nevertheless it made him smirk, glad in his own weird way, that they were able to bring out a side of her rarely anyone saw, or so it seemed with how she acted around strangers.
This content feeling was soon interrupted by the snow ball connecting with the side of his face, the burning ice cold feel of snow instantly hitting him.
" OI!" He cried out, batting the snow off of his face as quickly as possible. Once it was off he turned upon the mage, growling slightly. " That's it," he muttered as he stooped down to scoop up more handfuls of snow. " Its war now." An evil grin and a good toss, and the snowball fight was on.

It was decidedly ... odd. This feeling. Hm? What was Fai doing? So odd not to be paying perfect attention to detail and what was going on around her. Rune pranced out of his way, pale green eyes going wide as she saw the snowball fly. Followed, she saw it land and her eyes went even wider. Her mouth started to open. Then she squeaked, squeaked, ad ahe dropped to the snowcovered ground between the two males. Oh Hyne!! She was in the middle of a snowball fight! Black gloved paws covered her ears and pulled them down, her wings now pressed against her body. Okay, think! Had to get out of the line of fire... Rune laughed inwardly at herself an rolled out of the way, getting to her feet a few kitsu lengths away. Her eyes were back to a shimmering happiness and though the odd dancing bounce was gone from her step her strawberry tipped tails swayed, making marks in the snow beneath them. Rune had never been in a snowball fight. Never even watched one as close as this. Her heart raced in her chest with excitement, stepping back but still watching.
It was simply wise not to get into the middle of this. She was not a fortress!

The mage giggled with delight when his missile made contact, surprised it did hit the ninja. Fai danced on his toes, bouncing near Rune with his little victory glee. "Hyuu! Kurowan is like a snow puppy!" But he gasped suddenly, blinking down at the female that now lay on the chilly ground. "Rune-chan! Why are you napping there?" A paw went to his lips as he leaned curiously over the other to inspect her. A low growl of a threat reached his ears, and Fai turned his blue eye to Kurogane questioningly. "War?"
His smile faltered when he noticed the other male forming snowballs, and he he waved his paws with a nervous giggle. "Now now, Kuroruu! No need to be so mean!" His attempts at peace were distracted when Rune...rolled away and to the side. Leaving him stranded and gaping to the female pathetically. Why was he abandoned? D; A blur just caught the side of his vision, and on instinct the mage pulled a blue wing before him like a sheild. A thud was heard as the snowball smacked the feathers harmlessly before Fai peeked from behind with a laugh. "Nee, Kuropon is so violent~" Even if he was forming his own weapons behind the cover of his wing.

"Tsk."
The ninja had already started working on a few other snowballs while his first shot flew towards its target. He frowned when the snowball connected with the mage's wing instead of his face. He would have to try hard to get revenge back then.
" Oi I'm not being violent. You started it," he pointed out before trotting over to the mage and jumping to his side where the wing wasn't protecting him. A good toss and he hoped this one would make contact. If not he had another one waiting and ready to throw.
He paid Rune little attention for the snowball fight, she hadn't thrown anything at him to make him consider her a 'target.' Truth be told Kurogane had been the one to throw the first snowball, but it was the mage who returned fire.

A fact which Rune -comfortable as she was with these particular two kitsu- felt obliged to point out. "I'm afraid you threw the first snowball, Kurogane, hence 'starting it' as it were. Of course Fai continued it..." Her head was turned, pale green eyes keeping half a watch on the battle as she shook fur from her wings, tails, & winter gear as she spoke, Her tone was soft as usual, but there was a warm laughter lifting it and filling it with a joy the White SeeD seldom felt, much less expressed.
She tossed Fai a sheepish smile, only having barely caught his pathetic & sad look. "I'm not a snow fort." Murmured clear and soft, lightly carrying over the white covered landscape. She was not one... but she could make one. Still with an eye on the boys, Rune set to work. It might be useful against stray snowballs...

Fai gaped in a way that would win a drama award. "Me? What did I do?" Blonde hair wisped as he turned to keep track of the other, only to get pelted straight in the face with another snowball. The mage toppled backwards, being light enough that even a snowball threw him off balance. "Not fair Kuro-wanko!" Gloved paws lifted to wipe his face clean from the cold attack, the kitsu sitting up on his fluffy coat.
With his face hidden behind his hands, Fai giggled at Rune's little comment. She...was so much like sweet Sakura. Being honest despite situations, so not really taking any sides. Arms dropped to his lap, and the male tilted his head cutely with a smile to show giving in. Who could resist such a candy-coated display? "Alright, alright! Kurosama won." Eye slithered to peek at Miss. Rune, curious if he should 'invite' her to their antics as well.

The ninja was wary of the mage who seemed to be calling a truce. Sure the idea of him being the victor made him smirk proudly, but he knew better than to believe that the mage would give up so easily. He followed the mage's gaze to Rune, who seemed to be building some fort of fort with the snow. Cocking his head to the side, Kurogane watched her for a few moments before remembering that he had a mage to pay attention to.
He quickly looked back over to the mage, his paws set and ready to start grabbing handfuls of snow if need be. He still hand a snowball in hand from earlier, so to also feign innocence, and so that he wouldnt freeze his paw off, he set the snow ball onto the ground. But it was certainly still in grabbing distance.

((don't you hate when you get the idea for a post in your head, think you've typed it... only to discover you had not? *faceplants* yeah... *hugs* And happy birthday SA!!!! *luvs on* ^_^))
The White SeeD was feeling... decidedly not herself today. But in a good way. Once her wall was quite high enough to duck easily behind and both males had their eyes off of her Rune went into action like the trained SeeD she was. Two hard packed balls of pure white snow shot up from her left paw high into the air above her. The left paw reached beneath her poncho to grab a small cylinder from her belt. At the press of a button in the center her weapon was revealed -the cylinder expanding out both sides to become a full length staff. Trelweny called it a Membari or Ranger staff and it was something the human had asked the GaiaCom witch Myranda to conjure for her as carrying around her usual staff as a kitsusagi was more than cumbersome and often difficult to wield. The snowballs were just coming down as she expertly held her staff in both paws, clearly having practiced wielding her weapon of choice with paws instead of hands. There was an added grace & sureness to her movements: the staff was her weapon. It completed her, filled out her balance perfectly as no other weapon possibly could. She knew just how much to move it, just where to swing...
Snap! Snap! She swung quickly first one end of her staff and then the other with just the right amount of force to send each ball careening for its target without shattering the packed snow on impact. Her pale green eyes were quite wide with an odd mixture of surprise at her own boldness and an almost shocked impishness. The boys would know if they did not already... be wary the quiet ones...
