"Oh, all right," Bai Shan replied, feeling a little foolish at his momentary worry. This was Luna's territory, after all; she wasn't likely to get lost. He shook his head in response to her question, already moving toward the tree she had mentioned. He realized he was purring again - or had he not stopped? It was odd how his thoughts kept running on frivolous lines for no reason.

Luna chuckled as she went ahead and flopped down under the tree, she laided on her side and she flopped her tail around. She was waiting for Bai to join her. "Come." Her silky voice purred out and she smiled.

"Of course, m'lady." Bai Shan bowed with a flourish, amused at her regal command, and followed. She did look a bit like a queen for a minute, he reflected. The panda-lion settled with a grateful huff onto the ground beside her, his fur brushing hers slightly.

Luna purred and rolled over. She playfully batted at his mane. "So what do you think of my Lands Bai?" She asked gently, slightly amused at batting at his mane. A smile grew across her maw and she looked up at him hopefully.

Bai Shan growled playfully, swatting the offending paw aside. He couldn't help but respond with a smile to the hopeful expression on her face as she asked the question. "They're beautiful," he said. "Beautiful lands for a beautiful lioness." His eyes suddenly widened as he realized what he had just said, and he turned his head aside so she wouldn't see the mixed emotions painting his face. The lion scuffed at the ground awkwardly with a paw, muttering something inaudible.

Luna purred and rolled over to face him. She took her paw and pushed his face toward hers and leaned over and licked his face, and leaned toward his ear. "Well... Your fitting to be the king of my lands." She whispered with a purr and licked his cheak again and sat back and smiled.

"What? K-k-king?" Bai Shan stuttered, jerking his gaze back up to meet hers in his shock. Was it possible for his eyes to get any wider than they already were? Apparently it was. This had to be some sort of dream. But no, he was really sitting here next to Luna, she had just licked his cheek - twice! - and something in his heart thrilled at her not-so-innocent suggestion.

"Yes Silly." She smiled and sat up a bit. "Bai... I love you... I want you to be my king... I want this land to be officaly ours and rule over a land... and maybe even have cubs." SHe looked up with a hopefull look. "Please..." She batted her eye lashed just a bit.

His mind was racing, trying to comprehend this moment. Luna seemed so self-assured, while Bai Shan couldn't seem to make sense of anything today! She had just walked in - or pounced, actually - and started standing everything he thought he knew on its head.
"I think... I love you too." The words came out hesitantly, not at all like his usual self. He hadn't known it until the moment he said so, but it was true. It was... "I don't know if I can be a king, but I'll try. For you." After so long on his own, could he really be a leader? If that was what it meant to be Luna's mate, then he would do it.

"Oh Bai thank you!" She smiled and nuzzled her head into his chest. "Ready to head home and tell Tai and Hib that we are now all family." She said getting up a bit.

Bai Shan purred and curled his tail around hers as she moved closer, instinctively nuzzling her back. Already his earlier nervousness was beginning to evaporate like mist before the rising sun, now that he knew the truth. He loved her, and she loved him, and everything was going to be fine.
He smiled at her question. "All right." Family. What a wonderful word that was. He got up too, stretching luxuriously before he started off after her. For the first time in his life, Bai Shan really felt that he was heading home.
