Taerar Licorne This brings to mind one other really dumb question (last one, I promise >< ). I was going to put the Officer & Command emblem on one of my certs as my 'punk's job, but am I going to have to actually sign him up in the military in order to give him that job on his cert, or would I only have to sign him up if I wanted to actually RP him involved in the war? So long as he's not RPed, putting that on the cert is okay. However if he IS RPed at all, he needs to have something else. I had another person with a similar question over in the military thread, and the basic deal there is that you can show him off or put him in a journal, so long as the journal notes that he's not an actual part of continuity. Randomly, it'd be kinda funny to have a deluded vigilante who thinks he's an officer of the law, but i doubt that's in the character XD Plus I doubt you'd like to have him eventually arrested for his "crimes." As all RP in Steampunk is the same continuity, it would get rather messy to have characters claiming to be military/law enforcement when they're not signed up as such. ok, end ramble mode.

Since the names of the characters I'm taking for cosplay hasn't been revealed yet (FFXIII and FFvXIII games), may I change the cert later on when the names are given?

Would it be possible for a Koshka to have rather large fangs? Like that of a saber-toothed cat? -figured she'd ask before thinking too hard on if she wanted to make a pirticular OC of hers or not-

Yakobi - only if they /look/ like a saber tooth cat. Their fur/markings/ build has to reflect it too, I'm afraid.

I was just wondering, Could we possibly make our own bases for the pets or are there going to be more pets than just cats and dogs in the future? just wondering 'cause some people might want like hamsters or ferrets or birds or something. (I was personally thinking about a ferret. >w<. they're so cute.)

*halts* ... I was in the process of editing a bird(pet vulture!...just a pet, not a "familiar", not a "sidekick" or anything... won't be brought out of home or anything. xD;; ) onto my female OC chara... 8D;;

what happens if you request a certain character in your request to join form? does it count as a shotty?

Can you make your own pets or do they have to be done on the bases provided?
Also, can you edit the base to be something other than a cat or dog? (Kamiki has a fox familiar...)

(Kamiki has a fox familiar...) 1- The answer to that is on the front page in the FAQ 2- They're to be /only/ cats, and I'm going to see that anything other then that gets culled tomorrow. Poison Ivy- No it does not. x_redbird- no it does not, you're alright if you just want to re-cert them, the only time you have to do an update form is when you change the pet's appearance -stoopid genius- the answer to that is right in the pet section, theres going to be more in the future, and no you cannot edit the species.

A couple quick questions that I think I already know the answer to, but just wanna make sure <3
- If you're doing twin cosplays, they'd count as two separate characters, right? Even if they're on the same cert?
- If you decide to change the background of a cert, but NOT the appearance for the punk, do you need to fill out an update form?
~And if you do a new outfit, like lets say for Halloween or Christmas or something, do you need to post an update form, even if you're only going to use that certed version during a time frame that would make sense for said outfit change?
Like I said, think I know the answers, to which I believe would be:
-Yes
-Optional?
-Optional?
But just want the official word on them, just in case =3 <3

- Thats correct~
-You only only need to update the cert if you change the characters, not the tag. Think of it from our angle- we want to make sure everything is within guidelines- so we'd only need to re-check it when something in the pet is changed :3
As for your suggestions- half of those are in the works as you post this. I would recommend posting your list in the ideas and suggestions thread though so I don't forget any of the others :3
