Aki settled down in her seat in the communications booth setting the headset on her head comfertably. She would be the relayer and 'home' to say between the others of her group. She would be on one large computer picking apart data or fixing mechanics. She would do everything the others couldn't.
Kia laid next to her calmly taking up most of the floor space. Aki heald one hand over the ear peice and the other slowly turned the tuning dial this way and that. There was static and Aki tuned in on 2 different conversations. She turned the dial more slowly this time around and slowly was able to tune in her group. She gave a satisfied smile before talking into the headset.
"Kai, Leiv, Jasae?" She called over. "Ground is calling, come in." Her tone was all buiesness, though there was a smile under the seriousness.

jasae looked around and put on his headset "umm...why am i in a mecha again?"

Aki rolled her eyes and sighed audibly through the headset. "What do you mean again? " She asked, clearly annoyed. "We've been in the mecha all year training! Duh your going to be in it again!" Kia, at Aki's feet groned.
Aki reached down to rub the great dogs ears but sat up bolt upright in an instant. "Jasea, watch your left!" She warned urgently. When he didnt respond she yelled. "Jasea, MOVE!" Something was dashing up, fast.

"wha!!!" jasae tried dodging to the left and the right foot of his mecha smacked into the enemy charging towards him causeing him to spin out of control
"oh no!!!!! why oh why did i get into a mecha!!! i signed up for coms!!!"
by pure luck jasae acidently fired and took out the enemy while spinning in circles

Aki smaked her forhead and moaned. "Jaseaaaa..." Her voice tettered on the edge of whine. "Your supposed to stay in control of the mecha! Not lose it!" Aki slammed her fist on the table in frustration. She wasn't allowed inside the mecha because of her medical issues, even if she was said to be 'fine and dandy'.
"Hugi, Munin, Valkyrie. Come in, Feniri calling." Aki sent out a call to the other stations checking on their status. Reciving only static and having no luck on tuning she turned back to her team. Having yet to hear a reply from her other teammates she sent out a coded call.

Another Mech stuck out a hand and halted the spinning of Jasae's Mech. "Control is a ince thing to have." The new Mech broadcast to Aki, "Cadet Enab reporting in. I've been assigned to help you guys out."

just as jasaes mech stoped the force of the sudden stop caused him to hit the eject button sending him flying
"i am currrrrsed!!!" and hit the hanger wall

Aki's eyes widened with the broadcast from the new Mech. She gasped, no one could hack her systems! Yet here this person was talking to her. "Aki of Fenir hears you Cadet." She replied after a long silence.
Aki looked out the window behind her and did a double take. "Jasea!" She cried out in alarm. She hit her head on the table repeatedly, if only she could get out there. Kia looked up at her and gave a sharp bark nocking her out of her thoughts and self inflicted pain. "Sorry Kia..." She murmered rubbing her head.

"Cadet Ko-Kou," The flight instructor said, showing up on one of maybe eight screens. Also, fopr some reason, not using a line that would adress all of Fenrir. "I decided you needed some more capable hands up there. And because the Comm teacher said you were good, I gave him the right frequency-- No beating yourself up, Cadet." She looked amused, most definately unaware that Aki had been doing just that a few seconds ago.
Captain Mithril turned to Fenrir's com line. "Fenrir- You have a job to do! Get back in your M3, Cadet Bushae, and get to a position where you can defend the HANGAR. not just what's in it. And please, don't accidently shoot down your new pilot. I can't get you another one.
"Cadet Scaffer-- be a little more attentive! Your parentage is no excuse to slack off! Bullets and lasers don't care who is whose son! And Cleamidist-- you wake up too. That's an order."
Then, thankfully, Arena Mithril turned to jumping on other flights for sloppy movements.

Noom's Mech strided over to the edge of the hangar with a practiced movement. It was almost as if the mech was sliding on ice. He had broken three bones perfecting that. He began firing without much luck, but hit a few other mechs.

Aki stood at attention with the Commanders orders. As soon as she left she reset her headset and went back to work. "Alright then," she muttered in all her seriousness again. "Enab, stop showing off and help him back to his M3." Aki said tartly meaning the ejected Jasea. "He can't fight if he's not in the blasted thing!"
With that she closed her other screens monitering the other group and made her groups fill up the 8 screens. Much easier to watch them this way. She thought as she sat back and waited for a reply.

"Sorry." He slid back over to Jasae and stuck his mech's hand out, almost hitting him.
