After the yellow came striking down the world stopped in it's tracks. Rake moved his head around and swung his blade and missed the Yellow bird. The yellow bird on the other hand was surprised and returned to his position. A black bird on the other hand had failed in realizing the reach of the Sharp b*****d Sword. When he hit he begun to withstand it but Rake increased it's power and hit the black bird with such force it rocketed into a stone.

Now he had figured out a way to increase his attacking power. Now he only needed the yellow bird. This seemed to be a leader of some sort for the other birds attacked to make way for the yellow to strike hard. He opened to the right and as birds came the Yellow attacked from the right. He moved his blade around and then put his strength to the blade and cut the bird in half. "Serves you bloody right!" As the birds flew away Rake flipped the blood of the blade and placed it on his back.

Rake was walking along a river at the forrest and actually enjoyed how the soudn of waves incerased the sound of silence. Little would be able to destroy such harmony as this. If onyl men where smart enough to keep it this way. We humans always built over the nature and ignored the silence that so much needed to stay silent. In the great forrest nothing would for now disturp the silence of nature. What would ever come to harm this path and he hoped that he could walk in silence for a very long time indeed. The world could be at his feet indeed and he hoped that if it did he could find the harmony of silence withing the way of the sword.

Rake felt at home within the grasp of the forest. Nothing came to him in here and it was indeed very pleasant. After a while he came itno an opening, a fair looking house on an open field where the sun shined gently upon all. Rake walked up towards the house for indeed a very collected mind would stay out here. He noticed a good lookign young woman and smiled gently. Obviously she wasn't living out here alone so he would not do anythign stupid and end up being chased away. That would destroyt he nice calm of the forest. Now he approached her as she was hanging up loundry and greeted her with a bow and a gentlemans smile. There was no false interests here and never would there be

As Rake and the woman spoke he understood that she was just visiting her older father and what a nice woman indeed to take her time like that. Rake knew well to help the elders for they had a rough time as it was with life. Having them happy on the end of their road was quite alot of work but well worth it in the end. He found out that this was the family home as well and understood that it was a valuable land for the water came straigth up behind the house and there was enough room to have sheeps to seel wool to the town. Now what luxurious way to spend life as old, out in the forrest with nothing but sheeps to have your company.

When Rake was invited to stay he gladly accepted and was shwon around the house for a bit. He noticed a picture inside of the hosue which meant that the girl was married and had her own family. Yet it was pleasant to have found such a quiet place indeed. He was told he could share their meal for even if they looked poor that had a good life. This way no thiefs came for gold they had little of since their money was in their market and they had as it seemed alot of wool around in a shop in town nearby. Now he heard an old man complain about cutting wood so Rake got himself an idea.

When Rake heard the old man talk he bowed to the girl and said he would glaldy meet the fair lady's father and see what he could do. He was told that he should do nothing because he was a guest, so Rake answered. "My fair lady Johannara. I just stuimbled into this place and you accepted my pressence so now I have to do something back." He bowed once more to the lady and went to greet the old man. Both seemed to enjoy silence and since Rake offered to cut the wood the old man glaldy took the rest. They both begun to speak and Rake aksed more about the quiet life as a sheap herder.

Rake went over to the huge stack of wood that he should cut down. It was a bit more then he thought but if the old man had planned to make it then he probaly coudl as well. At first he took one ata time but was told that such a way he wouldn't make. The old man gave him tips on how Rake could use his massive sword instead and Rake smiled. Soon all the sheaps kicked down all logs to fall upon Rake and with the centrifugal forcer of the blade he kept slicing all logs with rapid speed. There wasn't much room for anythign else and soon several, huge, piles of cut wood where stacked around Rake and he smiled. This was really usefull.

Rake had really broken a sweat and was sitting in the sun witht he old man and where just talkign about the world and events that where going on. Nothing seemed to be happening really but they talked about the Marines keepiong the island calm and relaxed. It really had helped the buisness as it seemed. The old man hadn't even needed to go to his store to fix up probhlems with taxes or theft and what now. He could be retired and just have his doughter come with what he needed and lived out on the farm. Everu now and then a few of his men came for the wool and then they where left alone to enjoy the life

Rake wondered a bit how the old man had been able to chop up such a vast amount of wood. Rake was told that the old man just cut down trees until all cut up wood was finsihed then he cut up a lot of wood untill the big pile of logs where gone. That was his way of doign things. One thing at a time and a bit everyday. Very much like spring cleaning truly. One had to work greatly once and then could rest for a year. He hoped that Rake could understand what he meant and true indeed was it nice to relax for a year and work very hard one dya. Yet wotrking a little every day made all so much easier.

Rake wondered how he balanced the forest for it seemed as if there was an even balance around here. So the old man leaned forwards and told him his secret. "When ever I fell a tree, I plant a two new ones. I also always walk around in the forest. I never chop down the trees in the same position you see. Here come with me son and I'll show you!" Rake helped the old man to his feet and in the warm sun they walked down the open field to get into the forest and the old man would show his plans to Rake. There was some big technical thing in plan here obviously and it was indeed very nice to be able to learn how the old man had lived truly.

As they walked around the forest it was clear that various areas was of various age. They came first to a recently chopped down area where six big trees where missing but twelve short baby-trees where growing in their place. Then they came to a 10 year old area where those baby-trees where more like smaller tall bushes. "This is how I keep the forest alive for I need very little wood for a year and during this year I cut down what I need nd plant new life. If I do this for a hundred years then even then my first area will look like it did before I came mostly and a hundred years after me my last area will be back to it's original place. That's my plan for the world. My memory will live with my child and grandchildren and the wool market but I will leave earth as I came!" Rake liked the thought of the old man. It was really remarkable way to see life.

Rake and the old man continued their discussion as the kept walking to trees with had various markings. "What are these for old man Roen?" The old man named Roen smiled towards the young Rake's interest in his little forest. "Well you see Rake, this is so that I can remember how I should cut down the trees so that the nature keeps it's balance. If not the older trees can teach the young ones, the forest will collapse and maybe collapse." Reon laugehd a bit and Rake laughed with him. "So what is it that you want me to do?" Rake asked Reon and Reon pointed ahead of them both.

The old man was pointing towards some blue trees and asked Rake if he could cut the 10 trees down. They where needed and to tell the truth it would be a good relief if Rake could just cut them down. He had ways of getting the trunks out of the forest with his sheep so that would be no problem. The old man also gave Rake an idea for a new attack which he could be able to use. Rake stood within all of the trees and looked up at the tip of his blade. He then lowered it as a bridge falling down and the sun shined into the blade. Then Rake begun to twirl around and with a great spinning he cut down all the trees easy. Now this was also somethign he could gladly use in combat.

After leaving the happy family be, Rake was on his way. Not really knowing if he should leave West Blue or not. Maybe there was still something that he could learn truly. He found a man sitting alone. With funny paintings in his face but that wasn't something Rake would care about really. He approached the man and sat down next to him. "Nice day today hasn't it been?" Needles answered Rake with a question of who h was and what he wanted. Rake didn't really know what he wanted for once he felt like company so he told Needles his goal.
