Negel flew right past Ko's bedroom as he tried to make as much noise as seemingly possible. He hit every pot and pan in sight, he rang bells and made everything go off, even the loudest alarm in the house. The noises rang through the whole house as Ko covered his ears in pain. "Let me sleeep!" Negi smirked since he wouldn't let that happen.
Ko just moved into Renault and Negel's humble abode just a few days ago and it was a perfect time since Renault just got a new job and he needed a babysitter for Negel. Of course Ko didn't like it, and neither did Negi. So Negi tried everything possible to drive his new babysitter crazy and make him get out of his house. That wouldn't happen though, Negi knew that, so he just tried to make his stay much more miserable than it should be.
"ENOUGH!" yelled Ko at the top of his lungs. He stomped towards Negel as his back was turned. Ko got his oh-so-trusty butterfly net and swung it at the Seraphii. Negi gasped as he was now entagled in the evil net. "Hey!! Let me outta' here!" The more he struggled, the more it got caught, so Negi was smart and stayed perfectly still. The net started to calm down, and it was easy to fly right out. He stuck his tounge out at Ko, "Nyeh Nyeh, come and catch me!"
After hours and hours of Ko trying to catch the child, he sat on his bed and rested. "I'll get you someday!" Just then Renault came home and yelled out that he was there. "Yayyyy!!" cried the child as it came flying to his guardian. Just then, an idea ran through Ko's head. He got up and ran to Renault. "Welcome home cousin~" He was going to make Negel jealous. They each gave a glare at each other as Renault said, "Ehehehe...hey you guys...?" "Oh wow this is going to be awkward." he thought.

As the rain started to pour and the fog started to roll in, Negel sat near the window as his guardian was just leaving for his new job. This job made everthing so complicated because it was around the time when Negi wanted all the attention, and his guardian wasn't home as often and his babysitter, Ko, was making him mad.
Ko stomped out of his room and said, "Negiiiii....did you pour all this water on me?!" his face started to turn red as the little child tried to hold in a laugh. Ko was soaking wet and there was water dripping onto the floor. Negel just said, "I didn't mean to...I'm just curious at what water does when pured on someone." He tried to act very innocent as Ko wasn't buying any of it at all. He just smiled and batted his wings.
Negel was playing with his purple octopus and started to throw it up in the air. Even though stuffed animals don't have emotions, the octopi felt very dizzy. He giggled while imagining the animal was real. After a while, he flew away from the window on his cloud as it left trail marks behind him. One thing was bothering Negi the whole time he was playing, Ko was oddly quiet. He just shrugged at the thought as Ko was really thinking of a plan to get revenge. Negi floated right past the door of his "cousin's" room and looked inside. He was quite curious to see what he was up to, so he flew in.
Suddenly, Ko jumped out and caught Negi in a box, "Gotcha!" he exclaimed as the seraphii screamed and tried to get out, no use, he wasn't strong enough.
Ko just left him there for what felt like a long time as he was enjoying the peace and quiet. Back to Negel though, he was now starting to get scared, and fog started to emit from his body. The fog lifted up the cover just enough so he could fly out. "Hmph!" he grunted as he stomped out of the room.
He flew to his "room" which was just a little space in Ren's drawer and he played with some of his toys trying to take his mind off of, or planning payback on Ko, he really didn't care since he was so mad.
Renault came home holding a plastic bag, only to find Negi asleep on his bed, and Ko reading a book. It was very quiet, and he knew that something was up. "Hello?" Negi's ears perked up as he heard his guardian's voice. He flew out to him and landed on his shoulder. "Hiii" "Hey there little guy."
"Oh! Before I forget..." he said as he placed his stuff on the coffee table. "I got you something!" Renault knew that Negel was a fan of sugary treats, so he got something from the bakery for him. "I got you a cookie!" "Ohhh!!! Yum!!" he exclaimed as he reached into the bag and got the big, bunny shaped cookie out. "Yayy!!!!" he started to nibble on it, offering pieces to Renault and his octopus. "Good, huh?" "Yeah!"
The phones rang as Renault and Negi were just about done eating the cookie. Ren got up and answered the phone. He put the phone to his chest and yelled to Ko, "Ko! It's for you!!" Ko got up and ran to the phone and said, "Thanks." "Hello?" "Oh, Mom." Renault turned back and watched his cousin go to his room. Negi also looked towards his "rival."
Negi just finished telling his guardian about his adventure with his cousin and Renault just chckled and said, "That's Ko's way of showing that he loves you. He used to do things like that to me before. Just make sure that it doesn't get out of hand okay?"
Just then Ko came out, with tears in his eyes. "Ko? What's wrong?" "I-I-I'm leaving....sooon..."

"What?! Wait, why?" Renault was very suprised since he didn't expect his cousin to leave so soon! "I dunno....Mom just said that she needed me back home..." Negel just floated over Renault's shoulder as a discouraged face grew on him. "Well, when are you leaving?" "In about a week." Negel flew over to Ko and said, "Why are you leaving?" Ko was suprised. He didn't thinkg that Negi cared at all. "Well ummm...how should I put this...something happened with my mom and she needs my help." "Oh..." He really didn't understand what was going on, but he was sad because someone he cared about was leaving him. But that's what happens. People always leave.
It may be a suprise that Negi actually cared about Ko. He treated him so badly before, but he liked Ko, he just acted like he didn't. Negi loved to confuse people, and he was very stubborn and wouldn't admit liking his "rival."
A week passed. During the last week together, Negi tried to make up for lost time by being nice and getting along with his relative. But the day came. Ko was getting ready to leave as he grabbed his bags and went out the door. Renault and Negel ran out the door as they saw Ko off. "Bye..." he waved to his family. "Bye bye..." cried Negi as tears fell down his face. "Bye-- Oh wait! I almost forgot!" Renault ran back into the house and grabbed a gift for Ko. Ko was packing the car as Renault ran into the street, then BOOM! A car hit Renault as he fell to the ground. The car swerved and then drove off. "Oh my gosh!!" yelled Ko as he kneeled down to his cousin. "Renault....Renault!!" Negi flew to his guardian as he started to cry. "Please come back..."
Ren was motionless as the hospital took him away, but as he was being taken care of, Negi sat by his side as his guardian fell into a deep sleep...
Renault was awake, but not in the place he thought he would be. He was somewhere that had no color. It was all black and white. A monochrome world. There was the sun up above, but the light that shone didn't make anything lighter. Where he was at seemed familiar, but he couldn't put his finger on it. "Where....am I?" he asked as he looked around.

This world was painted in black and white. The sun shined, but there was no color that it illuminated. Everything was dull, it sort of made Renault depressed. "Where am I?" Something about this place seemed familiar to Renault, but he was so confused it didn't even occur to him that this place was his old home.
Renault left his first house when he was around 8. His memory of the day was blurry, he didn't know what was happening on that day since it all happened so fast. One day they were talking about selling the house, then the next, they were in the truck driving away for their home, their sweet, sweet home.
Then it hit him, Ren smelt a familiar breeze; it was his mother's apple pie. He remembered that smell, and always coming home from school everyday with that aroma in the air. He walked inside and he almost fainted at the sight. His eyes opened wide as he saw himself, as a child, sitting at the table, with a baby, Ko. Ko was sitting on a stool with his arms flying everywhere. He reached for the little Renault's pie, while he grinned and took it away, "Hehe none for you!"
"Wow..." Renault stood there, stunned, at the sight of his childhood. The sight was nostalgic. Renault looked around, and found out he was a mere illusion. He would walk through walls and through people. He ended up standing and watching his childhood over again.
A day passed, and he was stil there. He still had no idea what he was doing back home, in his memories. Then he heard something. His name was being called, not from his mother, but from above. Ko and Negi were calling out to him, he tried to talk back, but it was hopeless, they couldn't hear him. He was even more confused as he was earlier. "What is going on?!"
Renault rose from his seat and walked to where his child-self was. He saw that he was playing with Ko. He then heard another voice, one that he knew but couldn't recognze. The voice said, "Renault, you have been sent here to remember your past. You have forgotten what happened, and you should realize why this day was important. You will not leave untl you realize what you have forgotten." The voice started to fade way as Ren called to it, asking a lot of questions, one that were left unanswered. "What have I forgotten? What's so special about this day?" He walked to his old room again, and he found his cousin, Ko, crying.
The truth was, that when Renault was a child, he never really liked Ko. He always picked on him since he was the smallest in the family and he made him cry a lot. Also, Renault's memory wasn't always that great, so he would sometimes forget very important things.
"Ko..." he said under his breath as he walked to him. He stood beside him waiting for someone to come. No one came. Where was he? His child-self? Why wasn't he helping out his cousin? "Wait...is this...is this what that voice meant?"
Renault forgot about how mean he was to his cousin. Over the years it just never seemed important. He was always mean to Ko, but Ko never talked about it to him, he tried to forget, like how his older cousin already did. "Wow, I never knew I was mean to Ko. I know he wasn't my favorite, up until I left mom and dad, but..." Everything seemed to come back to him as his life fast fowarded through everything he went through. He saw again and again how mean he was, everything up until the accident came to his mind until he suddenly woke up!
He yelled as cold sweat ran down his face. "Renault!" Ko and Negel yelled as they ran to hug him. "Hey guys..." "What's wrong?" asked his cousin. He grabbed him by the shirt and hugged him. "Ren?" "I'm...s-sorry." The room was then filled with silence until Ko said, "Oh..." Ko hugged him back as tears ran down his face. "Me too."
Negel just watched, as he couldn't help but cry. "What is this?" he thought to himself as the water dripped down his face? "Is this called "crying"?"

Renault and Hatter RP ::

Ren, just waking up from his sleep waved goodbye to his cousin, Ko, as he was driving away. "Well Negi, I guess that's all we'll see of him for a while...It's just us two for a while." "Mmm..." "Well I'd better start cleaning up the house after the mess you two made." Negi just stayed quiet.
----
Hatter was walking around town, little cloud in tow, enjoying the sun. Andular seemed to be rather upest that he was being drug around in the bright light but the demon was ignoring that little fact.
Hearing the little baby make a sound of protest she snickered. "Now come on, you have to have sun for there to be anything to go away to have night."
He was not about to agree with her. It could easily be all night and then he'd be much happier. The sun was bright and the only good thing about it was it was warm.
----
"Augh why's it so sunny? I can hardly see." Whined Renault as a small fog started to appear around him. "Wait, no Negi! It's okay!! I can handle it..." "Hmph." Negi just looked to the side as his ears perked up as he heard the whining of another one of his kind. "Ren, loook!" he pointed to a woman with a cloud hanging by her. "Huh?"

"Yea yea. You'd rather sit in the dark and pretend you'r the prince and everyone loves you." She snickered as Andulvar floated in her shadow. She was unawake of the others who had noticed her and the little one.
He grumbled and huffed. She was silly if she though he was going to admit to that. It would just mean she was right, and even if she was, he wasnt going to tell her she was.
----
"Someone's there? Really?" "Uh-huh. And I think they have a person just like me..." "Really? Let's take a closer look." Renault took his seraphii and walked towards to woman who had her own child.
Just then the sun shined brightly into his eyes and couldn't see a thing. "Watch out!" exclaimed Negi as he pointed to the woman now in front of his guardian.
----
The demon squeeked and stopped. "Ohh...sorry." She smiled and tilted her head to look at the two. "Hey....you're another one"
Now that she had seen a few of the little floating kids she was starting to be less suprised to see them.
He floated closer to Hatter. So far he hadnt had the best expierences with the other's of his kind. One had screamed and make him mad and another had shocked him. Who knew what this one could do.
----
"Hi there!" Perked up Negi as he saw another one of him. He wanted to make a good first impression, since he learned that those are what matters the most, but for a kid, it's being able to do anything you want. So Negel flew over to the baby and tilted his hed as he flew up close to it's face. "Hmmmm..."
"Oh sorry about that, I almost bumped into you..." apologized Renault as he looked to see that the woman had a child too, but he was younger than Negel.
----
"It's ok. No one got hurt." She grinned. Her tail swished around behind her as she looked at Negel who was getting awfuly close to Andulvar. "Careful...he's not all that friendly."
Andulvar grumbled and shifted back on his cloud. Why was the other gettint that close to him? He could see him from over there. He reached up with one tiny hand and waved it at Negel hoping to get him to go away
----
"Ow!" exclaimed Negel as he was pushed away. "Humph! I was only trying to be nice."
"Ah, okay! Oh, well Negi isn't either." exclaimed Renault as he looked over to his child playing with the woman's child. "They look like they're having fun...I guess...Oh! I almost forgot! I'm Renault, and him over there is Negel. Negi for short."
----
"I'm Hatter, and that's Andulvar. Nice to meet you." She reached over and poked Andulvar. He needed to be nicer if he ever wanted to have friends.
He sat up slightly and, even though closed eyes, managed to glare at the other. He didnt want to be nice, he wanted people to just leave him alone until he could tell them to leave him alone on his own.
----
"Hello Hatter! And why hello there Andulvar!" he said as he thought about the child. "He's still a toddler correct?" he questioned as he looked over to Negi. Negi was still trying to get Andulvar's attention. "Hmmm..." Negi was plotting something.
Negi started to think as a fog started to surround the other Seraphii, but this fog wasn't one that would go into someone's throat, but into their mind. It was a fog that could confuse people. He wanted to try to confuse Andulvar that they were already friends. He had no idea if it would work or not...
----
"Yea...toddler. Hey wait...does that mean you know something about them?" Her eyes widened slightly. She hadnt met anyone else with the little babies who could tell her what they were. "So far no one i have run into has known anything"
He frowned and his little arms came up to try to push at the fog. It was a pretty useless move since all it really did was make him angrier that he couldnt make the fog to away.
He didnt want to be friends with the other so why was he trying to think that he was friends with him? His nose scrunched as he tried to work that one out as much as a little mind like his could
----
"Huh? Me? I'm pretty much just as confused about this than anyone else, but my child came from an orb...he grew a few weeks ago...and once he changed his eyes opened and he was able to talk like he has been for years. It's all too strange." Renault started to think about how Negel changed himself.
Negel kept on trying and trying, but his power wasn't strong enough so he just ended up falling to the ground, tired. He grunted. He wanted to be friends with the other kid, but Andulvar obviously didn't want to have any friends. Negi was confused as to why he wanted to have a friend, but this other one didn't.
----
"Really? Mine came out of a rock." She looked at Andulvar was was just shirking off the fog. "He's been like that for a while....quiet, anti-social, and rather bratty"
As the fog started to leave him he grinned happily. That was better. He could think and he'd won. He was the winner! The prince had to win right?
----
"A rock? Hmm...interesting...I've heard of other ones that came out of other sort of materials, or objects..." he started to think again. "Well Negi here is sort-of stubborn and likes a lot of attention right now...hopefully he changes!"
Negi just looked over to the other boy and grunted more.
----
"Little ones usualy want attention." She snickered. "Most of my other little ones want it all the time." The demon really was getting bad about collection little boys to take care of.
She smiled down at Negel. "Dont mind him. I'm sure he'll be more friendly when he can actually talk"
He grunted and flopped over on his cloud.
----
"Haha..." he chuckled. "Wait...demon?" he questioned, with his eyes wide open.
Negel looked over to Hatter, "Uh...uh okay..." he said with a little smile. He looked over to Andulvar and smirked.
----
Hatter blinked. "Yea...I'm a demon" She grinned and reached behind her to grab her tail. "See? goes with the horns. I wont eat you if that's what you're worried about"
Andulvar's own tail wiggled out from behind him and flopped over his chest.
----
"Wow...I never knew demons lived on earth..." A cold feeling fell upon Renault as he shuddered. "How did you get here anyways...?" He hoped he didn't sound rude.
Negel shivered as he saw the baby's tail and his guardian's too.
----
"Yea...i've met a few others." She let go of her tail. "I walked actually .... that's the easiest way to say it"
Flopped over the cloud he floated lazily around to Hatter's other side. The shade was better over there anyway.
----
"Really...." Renault started to slowly back away, a bit confused.
Negel looked over to Andulvar and copied what he did. He giggled as he sat in the shade too.
----
Hatter giggled at his reaction. "Look. I'm not evil. I'm not going to hurt you, or Negel, or anyone for that matter. I'm just like any person, only i have a tail and horns." She wasnt evil. She just happened to have been born to people that the world considered evil.
His little wings fluttered slightly as he got comfortable. Just everyone wait till he was older, then he'd show them all

"Ohhh...I see.." he said, not as scared as he was before. "Well, I guess that's okay then. But I'd better get going. Let's go Negi!" He gestured his hand towards Negel for him to float onto it.
Negel looked over to Andulvar and waved to him and flew over to his owner.
----
"Guess that means we should go back to running erands right Andu?" She looked at the little one who just grunted at her.
Rolling her eyes she poked him just to get him to do something other than grunt. It wasnt much more, just a mild squeek, but it wasnt a grunt at least
----
"Well I'll try to find you later on! Maybe Andulvar will be older then. I can't wait to see him much older!" exclaimed Renault as he took Negi and waved to Hatter and her Seraphii and he was then on his way back home.

Time rolled on by now that Ko was gone. Renault was so busy at work now-a-days, and Negi just sat at home waiting for him to come. When Renault finally got home, he had no time for anything, he usually was so sleepy when he got home and just jumped into bed. Negi didn't even have time to say "Hello"! He just kept being ignored by his guardian. He didn't like what was going on so he started to rebel.
Every person has rebellion at some point, some earlier than others, or some later. People can be early bloomers, or late, but it was good that Negi had it earlier since it would be much more stressful if he had this rebellion when he grew up into a teenager, that is, if these Seraphii grew up...
So he started to ignore Renault when he asked him something, or did anything he could to be lazy and procrastinate, even if he didn't have anything to do. He would stop greeting his guardian everytime he got home and would just mind his own business. Renault didn't have even a clue at that was goin on until he finally confronted him.
"Negi? Are you okay?" he asked.
Negi grunted.
"Negi?" he inquired once again.
"No, I'm not." he said with his back turned.
"Why?" Renault was clueless.
"Because. You are never home and I'm mad." He finally faced Renault, but he had tears running down his eyes.
"Oh...Negi...I'm sorry! I haven't had time for anything lately! I'm so busy at work....um er...I wish I could just stay home again, but I can't do that. We need to pay the bills." he tried to say everything in a gentle voice so Negi would understand.
"So what!" he yelled as he flew away from Renault, crying.
Negi sat in his room, which he moved to the guest room to get away from Renault, and cried. He wanted everything to go back to how it was before. He looked up to the light and just sat there. Basking in the warmth that it gave. "Hmm...what to do" he thought to himself. He needed to think of a plan to get Renault to notice him, but what would he do....?
