Of all days, 9/11. whee And wow, another archer is on here! D: Sweet! BoomBot, do you do traditional or what? Third that! I indulge in a little archery myself, can't say I'm very good though sad Yep, I do traditional! I'm not an expert...but I'm improving! Oh, awesome. :3 I'm hoping to improve my skills to hunt this winter at least once. x_x Traditional is so win. biggrin I have a wooden recurve. I need silencers, though...seeing as the "twang" is really loud. Lol. Mine is a wooden recurve as well. I've never really wanted to go hunting, really. I'm still trying to hit still targets. I need to get a forearm guard...I'm not really bad as far as getting grazed by the bow string is concerned, it just makes me nervous. sweatdrop

My birthday is October 18, not 30th as posted on my profile. I'm around 5'7''-5'8'', straight blond(e) hair, and my eyes vary from a dark brown to a light honey brown. My hobbies include, but are not limited to, drawing, singing, writing poetry, playing piano, watching anime, and reading. I will be beginning my freshman year of high school in just over a month. While many of my friends are choosing art and such for their electives, I have decided to take Speech 1 and World Cultural Geography. This is so in the 10th grade, I can participate in Debate and American History. I live in Florida, East coast, about...50 miles north of the general Tampa area, in Hudson. During Summer, my activities are mostly limited to staying home, but on weekends, I go to water parks, theme parks, and archery ranges with my mom, dad, and brother. Yes I did say archery range. 3nodding I got a new bow for my birthday last year, and it is just amazing!! I have been on Gaia for...about a year and a half, and this is probably my 3rd account. I live with my mother, father, younger brother, and a lot of exotic pets. A red-nosed pit bull, a teacup chihuahua, a Marshal ferret, a red-tailed boa, a hamster(the most "normal" of our pets, she lives in my room), and our newest addition, a baby Senegal parrot. I guess this is getting kinda long? sweatdrop If anyone wants to add me, send a request! I accept...almost all of them! You think so? 4laugh Did you enjoy the class? I think things are different at my school. I do traditional as well.I hate sights, and I feel the use of a bow should be instinctual, and the whole judging the wind, distance, power of the bow and trying to anticipate where a moving target WILL be by the time your arrow reaches it are all fundamental aspects of the archery experience.

You really should buy arm guards guys, I cant count the amount of times I felt the bowstring twang off mine, and thought " Imagine if I weren't waring this?"
