When she got up there Silhaku was deep in his sleep. When she started giggling he jumped up "What where hu? O you're done?" he walked over to the edge of the building to see the city burning and smiled. "Ok you're done. Nice job lets see whats next." He streched and yawned, cracking his neck a few time. "Note dont sleep on concrete 'cause I really need that hot dip now." He walked over and patted her on the back. "So what do you want to do? You killed this bunch so you earned the right to decide what we do next."

Willow chuckled and pulled out the maps. "I dunno.." She looked them over a while and found nothing of her interest. "There's nothing too big on here. I want to find Retribution! We could massacre everyone there!" She handed him the map and headed over to the edge of the building, watching the fires burn. Her evil side came back and she watched the destruction she had caused blankly. "I don't care where we go, let's just find something to do. I'm bored again." She turned and snapped back to her happy self, smiling sweetly

Kri looked around sullenly from the rubble that had been the Rebel base a few moments ago. He stood and shook out his fur, a snarl making it's way across his lips. His fangs flashed in the dying embers, making the reason he was called the Demon Cat a bit more obvious.

Well, it was pretty obvious no matter how you looked at him. He stood roughly six feet at the shoulder and had a good set of several inch claws and teeth. His good eye took in the damages quickly and then turned to where the woman that had caused the damage had headed to. He shook his head mentally and growled, now he had a report for head quarters.

Kri stretched languidly before turning to stalk away from the remains of the Rebels and their outpost. The large cat blended well into the destroyed city, his dark colours helping him to melt into the rubble.

Hopefully no one would see him before he managed to get into safe territory.

The land was deserted. No sign of life. It was a blessing and a curse. For instance, while it meant that no rebels would attack him, it also meant Scott was in for another lecture when he got back. Blah blah blah. He rolled his eyes, already imagining the higher-ups squeel.
He pulled out a map of the land, shrouded in Xs and circles. He added an X to the area he was in, and began heading towards the base. That pair he had scanned earlier....he wondered what they were doing. After all, sneaking back in while the two returned form a mission was not optimal.

Jek fell out of a void nearly forty feet in the air, at around thirty he woke up. Jek opened his eyes, curious to the sound he was hearing, not noticing it was the sound of wind rushing across his face. At twenty, he had become a little aware of his surroundings, and became increasingly worried why he could see the sky. Did Grave tear off the roof or something? What's going on? Then Jek turned around, realizing he was mid air, about to collide with the ground. He screamed, opening a portal under him, missing it and hitting the side, the equivalent of hitting the edge of a building. He tumbled mid air, and slammed into the ground in a heap.

Jek steadily lifted himself up off the ground, confused, and a little angry having woken up to a terminal velocity impact. "Lost Home! What the f*** is this! Are you kidding me! I was sleeping!" Man, I sound like Grave... Where am I? He looked at his surroundings. He was amongst a ruined city. Some of the buildings looked destroyed long ago, somewhere still smoldering, newly demolished in some sort of battle. I haven't heard of any city like this. What's going on?

Jek decided to walk around, he was confused, and needed answers as to where he was, this wasn't the first time he'd woken up into a random place. He just hoped he could get back to Grave soon. During his walk, Jek couldn't help but feel like he was being watched. He turned around, and noticed nearby was a large cat. It was a mere fifteen feet away.

uuuuuuhhhhh, that, is a big cat... It looked angrily at him, then again, it was a big cat, it probably always looked like that. Right? He turned around suddenly, darting away as fast as he could. He'd use a void, but LH was somehow refusing. "What the F*** LH! There's a big frigging cat behind me, it looks hungry, and I'm the only bloody thing here! Open the hell up!" He ran with heaving breath, having no idea where he was or what to do. He was pretty sure he was screwed though.

Kri saw movement from the corner of his eye and turned quickly enough to see a boy with white hair running away. Even if he hadn't seen the boy, Kri could hear the shouting as clearly as if they were a few feet apart. He felt his hackles rise and a growl building in his throat. Something was odd about that guy. And he was running. Before Kri could stop it, his predator instinct kicked in and he was tearing after the stranger and gaining ground. Quickly.

Before the other could get too far from his starting point or make too much noise, Kri was on top of him. Literally. He lunged the final few feet and tackled the guy to the ground, rolling him with a clawed paw and placing it on his chest. "Who are you...?" The cat growled then stared for a moment before his eye widened and he took his paw of the man. "You are... impossible..." He took a step back and willed himself back into his human form. The change was much faster than he usually would have done it, so he hurt a little as his bones changed shape and position. When it stopped he stood in front of the other in his human form, a slightly shocked expression on his face. (If the other were paying attention he would notice that the former cat was now using his right eye for sight, his left one being scarred shut.)

"I know you..." Kri muttered, "Jek... My mother knows you..." He stared, clearly in shock. "It's not possible. You have to come with me." Kri grabbed Jek's hand and began pulling him after, headed for a further part of town that still hid his mother.

Jek noticed the giant cat chasing him. "Awesome! Now it's after me! LH I swear I'm going to kill you for this!" Jek felt the cat's breathe on his back, "What the hell do you want from me you stupid cat!!! Get away!" He was slammed to the ground; the cat violently turned him over, roaring words at him. "What the F*** is going on! A talking cat?! I shouldn't have had any of Grave's brownies! Those definitely tasted funny!" The cat lifted off of him and turned into young man standing above him. Jek flipped himself back onto his feet immediately. He was ready for a fight.

"How do you know my name? I'm pretty sure I don't know your mum okay?" The young man grabbed his hand and pulled him with a very strong grip. "Hold on! What's going on? What is this place? Why can I never get any bloody answers!!!" He yelled in frustration, dragging his feet the entire way to wherever this guy was taking him. After a while Jek gave up and decided being dragged across the ground was his only option. "Mate, I have a really strong feeling that I don't want to meet your mum..."

"You don't have a choice, clearly." Kri muttered as he stopped dragging Jek and opened a cellar door. "I suggest standing..." Kri kept his hold on Jek and threw him down the stairs, followed quickly and closed the door. Some light kicked on weakly so they weren't walking in pitch dark as Kri shoved Jek down a hall.

"Mother... I found someone I'm sure you'd like to see..." His voice echoed quietly and was met with a rustling noise followed by undefinable words. "Yes, mother." Kri stopped walking, "She wants us to wait here." he explained as he stopped shoving Jek.

Moments later a slight figure appeared from the shadows. She was about five feet tall with pink hair and pale eyes that seemed to have slits running the centres. Rade Selip. Kri's mother.

"It really is Jek." She smirked, showing the fangs that were once hidden in her human form by a row of filed teeth. Upon closer inspection her skin was covered in a faint layer of scales. "You look the same as ever. Oh, and I'm sure he didn't say anything, but that's Kri. He's your son." She grinned again, her eyes net leaving Jek's face for a second. Rade was completely unreadable, just waiting for some reaction.

Kri remained silent while his mother spoke to the stranger he had recognised only through her descriptions. Jek was younger than Kri himself was. This entire situation just screamed paradox.

Bane stopped as one of his sensors starting flaring, creating tons of internal noise. He turned to see the very reason he was created. There was a large column of smoke rising from further into the city. No doubt the pyro girl doing, and several were dead.
Now that he wasn't moving so fast, Bane detected a weak signal, but only for a moment. It came from far back in the general direction he had just come from, though he had lost it already. Nonetheless, he began speeding in that direction. He wanted to get there fast, but didn't want to get to close. It's better to identify your potential enemies before meeting them.

The base was a ways away, and the threat of rebels was not over. Thus, Scott was focusing on the area around him. He could've sworn he had heard a buzzing. Was something moving? It was faint, and dissapeared instantly, so it was dismissed. The rebels weren't exactly stealty when it came to him. They didn't need to be. He would find them soon enough anyway.
So the only possible explanation was that he was delusional. Sleep deprivation? It was possible. He hadn't gone to sleep for more then two hours in days.

Jek tumbled down the stairs, slamming his face into the floor. "Ow! Have you no manners?! Quit pushing I know how to walk." The mysterious man pushed him down the hall anyways.

"Wants us to wait here? I didn't hear anyone. What are you talking about?" He saw a woman enter the room; she was short, with pink hair. Jek noticed who it was, even though she looked a tad different. Rade? What's going on here? Wait what did she say? Son what?!?!?! Jek looked confused; he hoped he hadn't heard what he thought he heard. He looked at Kri, who had to be older than Jek by a couple of years at least. He turned back to Rade, noticing the fangs and scales. He ran his hand through his hair, trying to take all this in.

"Okay...hold up. There is no way he's my son, he's bloody older than me! What's going on here? Last thing I know I was sleeping in Grave and I's house, next I'm waking up in the air and Lost Home won't let me use my friggin voids! Kri is apparently a giant cat guy with fangs and-and-and!"

"He almost bloody ate me!"

Jek was heaving, he wasn't to calm with his situation, and he was realizing something was terribly wrong here. He sat down trying to calm himself. He rubbed his face, thinking. Something is apparently very wrong here. Something I just don't know. What's missing from all this. It seems all very believable. Why does it not just add up?!?!?!

Jek sat waiting for Rade to give him some answers. He wanted them badly.

Kri growled in the back of his throat at the comment about almost eating Jek. Even in his human form that wasn't an expression to be taken lightly.

Rade gave Kri a quick look and grin, then returned her focus to Jek. "Lost Home has taken you through time before. Well, maybe not before this, but he has." Rade shrugged and her shoulders made an unhappy grinding noise, earning her a worried look from Kri, which she waved away.

"You're a good time away from Grave and the others. I think I might be all of us that's left, excluding you for the reason you're right in front of me." She paused, collecting her thoughts to answer the rest of his questions. "For my survival this long, I was recaptured and run proto-drugs on. I got away and spent a good long time fighting with Alice and the others before the drugs started to destroy my ability to separate my forms fully. Before all of this nonsense... a good long time ago, actually..." She let that sentence trail off, her eyes pained suddenly, then it was gone.

"I'm sure Lost Home has something that can help explain more of this. I only know that you were gone one day, returned several days later with an odd look on your face and several years later..." She pointed at Kri with a clawed hand, an odd smile on her face.

Kri watched all of this in silence. He was worried about Rade with this young man that was apparently his father. She seemed to be fine right now, but he was sure once they left she would have an attack... and there wouldn't be anything he could do for her then.

Instead of dwelling on that thought, Kri turned his attention back to Jek, who was panicking in the middle of the room. A bit of culture shock, Kri understood, so he let it slide.

Jek took this all in. His face showing clearly how taken aback he was by the idea he had time traveled. It explained how Kri could be his son, why Rade looked so different. Even the city he found himself in. "Ok, so Lost home...has sent me to the future....in which you have some sort of immortal operation done to you, which has had side effects, sounds a lot like the bloody institute to me. So then that means Kri..." Jek stood up and turned to Kri, "is my son... and that means. My son tried to eat me, after I fell forty feet. I guess that's one way of meeting."

Jek turned to Rade, "Ok I believe you, so that means..." Jek's eyes widened, suddenly realizing another thing. "You and I...are an...we....uh...." Jek blushed visibly, immediately trying to hide it. Dangit! What do I do! What do I do! I know! I'll change the subject!!!

Jek turned to Kri, "You are bloody grounded!!!"

At Jek's reaction Rade fell into a laughing fit until she began coughing violently. She slowly got herself under control and grinned at Kri, who was now grounded. "I think you should take him and get him acquainted with our dying city and the Institute's new soldiers..." Rade flashed a much weaker smile that seemed to have more fang in it that any of the previous ones had before. "Jek, he won't eat you. I promise."

Kri looked over at Rade, worry plain in his eye. "Are you sure I should leave, mother?" He extended his hand to her only to have it batted away quickly with a mumble about not being dead yet.

Kri nodded tensely and looked over at Jek. "We need to leave now, follow me."

Jek noticed Rade's obvious bad health, and how much it concerned Kri. He followed Kri back into the hall they came from. "Ok, so then Kri, errrrr...son?" Jek face palmed himself. He needed to not try so hard. "Kri, I'm assuming then you have shape shifting from Rade, errr, your mother. Do you have anything...you know...from me?" Kri was still silent, "I know you probably don't like me, because from the sound of it, I kind of time traveled out of your life kind of early..."

God dammit Jek! You're just going to piss him off! Then he's going to just eat you to shut you up! Talk about something else! "What about the institute? If I'm so far ahead in time since 2110, then I would think Grave and I would have gotten rid of it. Do you even know of Grave?" Of course he doesn't...Grave probably did something stupid and died with me gone... Jek waited eagerly for Kri's response. Hopefully that wouldn't be eating him.
