watermelon Natalya Mikhailov Hmm.. that I do have =P http://www.shochiku.co.jp/hagaren/img/main_visual.jpg - meh, I liked the red coat better.. There's also a trailer you can watch, but I haven't had time to see it sweatdrop http://www.shochiku.co.jp/hagaren/ Maybe someone should start a thread about the movie. Take advantage of the guild system and not mix everything up. Not a big deal though. Oh yea... I saw that trailer. There's nothing in it sweatdrop . It looks just like an FMA opening, but there's talking in Japanese over it that I can't understand. Too bad. As for Ed's image. I just feel like he's traveled back a few centuries neutral . And... he got tall xd . But I'm suspicious about Al... notice how they don't show us any pictures to keep us guessing... I wonder if he get's his body back........ Now that I think of it... if he gets his body back, will it be aged? or just your lil 10 year old whee . I'll do it!

Well they don't know what Al would even look like at age 14. There would be little details like his height and weight and hair and all of that. They would change just enough so that trying to restore him right to that age would be making a false image of him that's just an estimate. I think they would make Al come back in a ten-year-old body.

I just thought of something... I'm guessing that Hoenhiem is not human. So what does that make Ed and Al?

I just thought of something... I'm guessing that Hoenhiem is not human. So what does that make Ed and Al? Wee~ so fun reading everything. I just JUST finished watching ep 44. I've watched all of FMA within a week's time and I already have FMA cosplay brewing... anyways... Emotionally Al has aged since he lost his body, but popping back as a 14 (soon to be 15 I think, since we went by Ed's 16 b-day) year old body I don't think will work out. The onset of teen-age hormones, fun thing to deal with.... I think of his body as in stasis. And now for what are spoiler stuff! >> Hoenheim is human to me. Not you're average everyday human of course. I think he knows something about the philosopher's stone and him and Dante did stuff either with that or with human transmutation thus begetting Greed. Lyla/Dante I think is also human, but who's discovered a way to prolonge life, thus the decay after all this time. Old lady Dante, I think she was really named Dante, but that it was a family name and thus she's related to Lyla/Dante. I think Lyla/Dante has been around for a loong time, and used the Lyla guise to do undercover work--being as old as she probably is, she's had to have learned some decent acting skills. As for Hoenheim's comment about the name of the body--I think that since he last saw her she has either altered her body or switched, but probably only shortly after the Envy incident when he was sealed the last time... Maybe in the past She was the one who taught hoenheim, thus he learned the long life thing from her (or maybe vice versa) but hoenheim either learned or knew something that she didn't. Hmm...wow, my thoughts are incoherant when I think as I type. As for homonculus... will die first, who knows. Or last for that matter. I see Gluttony going before Lust--it's always interesting to keep the one that appears to be getting killed alive just a little longer. We haven't seen Envy in awhile, I wonder where he went to? And yep, I think Al pulled out bits of bone from his mother's grave.What we REALLY need is the next episode. This would solve so much... maybe.. And Movie Ed picture. We have no way to tell if he's gotten taller or by how much--there's nothing to compare him with! I think he's grown, but I don't think he's grown by all that much. He's cursed to be forever undersized! Al was already as tall or taller than him when they trained under Izumi on the island, and at 16 he hasn't changed that much in height since we first met him. There's not that much time for growth left in him. It's that, or I'm wrong and he has one hell of a growth spurt coming on. Not that I mind. I'm undersized myself, having stopped growing in early highschool. I hate it when my friends taunt me about my shortness. Of course, that gives me an excuse to hit them, and that's always fun! xd And speaking of cranky short people... *runs off to work on Ed cosplay*

Yeah, or the picture was altered to make him look taller, lmao xd
And speaking about Al's body: My guess, that he'll be what he was before.. yet that would still be very strange considering all the time that has passed O.o. But even then so, suddenly turning 14 would seem odd too
Actually, I remember at that one part where Ed touches Al (after getting the philosopher's stone). It showed the gate opening and with a black figure behind it. The figure kinda looked like Al. Couldn't tell if it was older looking or not though.

I dont' think in the gate is quite 'real' if you know what I mean.

I meant not 'real' as in it's another dimension or something. Like an astral plane. Doesn't matter where they are in the real world, they can do something to trigger a gate visitation and not have really GONE anywhere.
It's everywhere and no where at once. An essense, and not some physical object or location.

That's sort of what I thought it was, too. Although it DID take Al's body and Ed's limbs, so it must affect the physical realm to some degree. So not really a vision, but...erm...
An illusion made real? Bleh...

In regards to Al's body... In my opinion, I'd think that Al's body would've aged on its own regardless of his soul being in it. I mean, even without a soul, your physical matter would still change wouldn't it? And if it didn't, that would mean your organs stopped functioning and wouldn't be much of a use to get back again would it? But eh... then again, they might be able to work out something with the Philosopher's Stone and have a better turn out than with their mother... o.o;
Heh, and as to the Philosopher's Stone... For some reason, I highly doubt that what Ed & Al have is the true Philosopher's Stone. I understand that what they have is extremely powerful but I doubt its the legendary thing. If anything I think it's just a pumped up version of the red alchemy enhancing stone. Also, Pride stated before that humans would never obtain the stone as well. Again, this might just be his own ignorance speaking but it makes me wonder about what they really have...
And there's my two cents! ^^;

Wasn't there also something about the "real" Philosopher's Stone that nobody can get near it because they perish if they get too close? So far that hasn't happened yet. Which means it could be possible that it's not the real thing and just be a really strong fake like you said. But the still doesn't explain why the gate showed up like that then, cuz I wouldn't think it a fake can do that... maybe it can if strong enough sweatdrop

MY two-cents...
I also personally believe it's just a super strong fake. The reason I think that the gate showed up is that because Edward reacted to the stone, and since he was touching Al, it kind of created an interconnection between their minds, or something. A tranfer? Not sure...
Although it says Alchemists react to touching it, and Al is an Alchemist! He's just not a STATE one. Then again, it's not that he's touching the Philsopher's Stone, he IS it...so...maybe that sort of...cancels it out...
Jeez it's so confusing! They need to hurry up and put episode 45 out! ASDFGHJ!
SO bleh!
