Chaos Isaac Anyways, i've finished my Character Profile. [[Quite Frankly, screw the philosophy section, I had no idea what to put]]
=]
Whatcha think?
And i'm sure saying alot even though I just joined.. Lookithere, guess i'm not that shy. =P Shy people aren't very much fun anyways. Glad to have you posting.
My girl learned how to use the Force and her lightsaber much as Luke did, some official tutelage here or there, but mostly self-taught. That's why most of her Force abilities are combat-related, since that is what she has the most experience with.

Chaos Isaac @Aurin: And by the way: Putting all the weapons in the arms isn't that good of an idea.
Let me put this... like this. Say you have two knives. One's a combat knife, simple as that. The other is a survival knife, with all sorts of neat things in the handle. Such as fishing hook, maybe a peice of flint or something.
The first knife is better off, because the handle is much more sturdy, as the second is much more likely to break because of the added things. It'll even shake and rattle a bit.
Ya feel my drift? I see your point, but a droid/cyborg is inherently a thousand times more complicated than a knife. Btw, most of the internal weapons are in the limbs, which include legs.
The way one can configure a droid in such a way, yet still leave it very durable, is to mount such weapon systems on top of the critical systems necessary to operate the droid, and on top of the armor protecting that, and then possibly covering it with a weaker layer of armor to protect the weapons themselves.
This way, the weapons don't interfere with the core systems of the droid any more than a handheld blaster would, and even if these weapons are damaged or destroyed, the droid would still most likely be operational.

Yeah, and that inherent complication only adds to my point. A knife is simple, and a droid is incredibly sophisticated. Between the life support systems keeping the organic parts alive and functioning, and all the other circuitry for the droid to be simply operational.
I'm just saying, the more you add, the more you sacrifice.
Lets say: So he's got a large armament held on him, internally and externally, and super strength not to mention his armor, i'd say a fair exchange for that would be lack of mobility.
Say Fury, Nexilles or Isaac met him on the battlefield, him and his opponent, [either Fury, Nexilles or Isaac] and they both have their sabers, wielding them. I'd say your Droid/Cyborg could not keep up with the speed of his opponents, [[Maybe Nexilles, depending on heavy that armor is]]
They would be more agile, and faster then he would be, sure he could hold his own, but since he has so much, not do as well as he'd hope. His movements would be a bit more sluggish in comparison.
Is that a better explanation? It's really all about evening things out.
Edit: By the way, nice Edit. =P -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- =-=-=-=-=-
And thanks for the expositionary statement Fury.

Edit: By the way, nice Edit. =P It worked for Greivous...
Other combatants would be more agile, but since my guy's reaction time is that of a highly sophisticated computer, it would balance out.
At the very least, you are presenting your point of view with logic and grace, and I applaud you for it.
Which edit were you speaking of, btw?

Yes. But Greivous did not have all of that in him, he merely had the life support systems and such in his center, and the necessary circuitry for the rest of his metallic body. And his arms, which were bare minimum were allowed to be that fast, they were very simple, and didn't have anything extra, besides maybe some magnetics.
That would be due to the computer brain that's in him right? Well of course, but, I imagine the droid brain and the organic brain will bicker in control and such. Especially with the individualism presented in many of the modern day droids. Sorry. Nevermind that bit, it just came to me... Anywho his reaction time might be that fast, but the movement of his body might not be able to keep up with the pace.
I mean, yeah he could see a blow coming, but not quite be able to move fast enough to do something about it. From my standpoint, his set up isn't for nimble actions, but more for tank-like power, to take a blow easily and return it five-fold. So, again agile Sith and Jedi opponents, his physical being would just not be quite fast enough to keep up, although his brain could easily.
Anyways, i'm just saying, make sure he's evened out, there has to be drawbacks to having so much.
And thanks, I prefer to give my points logically and without too much bias.
And the simple edit you did on your charry, about the gasses and such. =P
