Hooo boy...
Okay, well my guild deserves an explanation, at least. I've not been on much, and there's a reason. I finished my story... those of you who are really into it and want to know what happened, I can probably tell you. Or else Lynn can. No, I didn't post it out on Gaia, but it got finished nonetheless. The mighty Baelnorn was vanquished in an epic war between two worlds. Dorn is gone, most of my characters are slain, and nothing is left.
...well, no. Orb is left, and so is Quisling. I'm preparing a new story that will began a few millenia after the last one ended. There are still some loose ends to tie up involving the distant descendants of Dorn Brightstar... and whatever did happen to the Web of Mortality, and Orb's son Tobias and daughter Celeste? If you're curious about these things, go ahead and IM me. I wont bite. There's a story for everything, and the epilogue tale will begin soon.

Ok so I suppose no one has been checking the member requests because I had to sift through some 30+ requests today. If anyone got denied entry and they felt they should have been let in please just re-apply. I was really tired by the end and might have clicked deny instead of accept or maybe your request was just....well boring sweatdrop Try to think up a good story line. Have a character in mind when you apply. Then ask again and you'll likely get in.
Now on to guild matters. I STILL haven't had a chance to talk to Orb so things are going to just trudge on for a little while longer. I'm going to be going through some of the threads and members and see about changing a few minor things (or major....as the case may be ninja ). If something disappears or if new things appear don't be alarmed! I'll try not to make anything TOO drastic happen...also if you want something to happen please post it in the request center. I have virtually zero time with working two jobs and going to college and having to manage 5 Gaia accts plus attempt to get in some World of Warcraft with my roommates so please try not to hide your requests in the middle of an RP somewhere. I mean it's all well and good to implement what you want into your story line but don't expect me to read every single post in every single thread....I simply can't do it.
Other than that I'll try to be around more. I already log on at least once every other day but not much is happening yet. I'll try to change that as well so be prepared for some stuff to happen. I'll also be requesting help from members for different things to get some life back into this lace until Orb has his new storyline up. Ok so that's it for now....have fun!! whee

House Cleaning!
Ok as you may have noticed some threads are getting deleted. I will also be remaking some threads and adding some things. I'm not sure when things will get back on track but I'm working on a few minor things to get some life back into this place. In the mean time....and this is important...
All members with less than ten posts will be banned in one week unless they PM me!
We have way too many members and not even a third of them are postingon a regular basis. Starting with Friday I will begin to remove anyone who has 10 posts or less unless I receive a PM asking me to do otherwise. This is an attempt to get rid of some dead weight and to provide some initiative to actually participate. Make a story line..join in on one...or whatever. Just have fun. That's what we're here for people!! Enjoy it! whee

Due to some unfortunate circumstances, I won't be online for a while. My telephone lines were shut down and I can't get online very much at all....it's been almost a month since I've been online stressed sweatdrop . So, if you need to speak to me then send me a PM and I should eventually get it. I will be back once I get a laptop for college. House Cleaning Part II
Ok so I've gotten rid of everyone who had zero posts. Only one person has PMed me this far. I will be giving the rest of you until Wednesday to PM me about staying in the guild then I will be banning anyone with less than 10 posts unless I know you are active or you PM me to do otherwise. Also...please please PLEASE post a profile! We can't do storylines or anything without them and it helps to build your character 3nodding

Training Room
Ok so I saw that we have two training rooms but neither has any good descriptions in it and people are just posting whatever...so I'll be taking suggestions on the creation of a temporary (or not so temporary depending on when and if Orb returns sweatdrop ) training room/area. alright guys, here is the deal. ive been working 6 days a week, housitiing, getting ready for school and what not, so i havent been here. whether thats a avlid excuse for being a mod and not posting, though unlikely, thats up to you. anyways, if anyone needs to contact me, drop me a pm, or im sometimes on AIM, so you can im me on that. If you know me well enough to have my phone number, you can ALWAYS call me, i could use the distraction, or if you guys ask i cna give you my address to write a letter or something. tho email would be faster. lol. anyways, thanks to Kaid for being the good mod and cleaning this place up. You're my hero!! *shifty eyes* lol, and dont feel bad Maire, i dont feel neglected. ^.^ anyways, thats all i have to say for now. hopefully activity should be increasing soon. sweatdrop

Ok so I'm going to be monitoring the threads for a little while. Probably by the end of the week I'm going to be deleting threads that don't seem to be active. I will be saving the descriptions in case we decide to bring them back but if there is something you specifically want saved for a role play or just because you like the thread please either PM me or say so in Belbe's Request Center.
Also everyone is more than welcome to make threads....just please please PLEASE ( I can't stress this enough!) put some thought into it! I don't want a one line description. I want to see that you put at least two brain cells into it ^^; Also if it is OOC...please put it in the OOC thread. Or at the very least put brackets around your title....although I'd like to keep OOC stuff out of the Forum as much as possible.
One more thing....and this is pretty important. I will be deleting all of the Profiles (unless you PM me or I know for a fact you are still RPing here). I want to come up with a new system to give some structure to the place..although I WOULD like some input on this from the other mods. Thus far people are pretty much making up powers and doing whatever...I was thinking of a more structured system like perhaps points (yup you guessed it...I was checking out the Order..::snicker:: ) or if anyone has a better idea I'm open to listening.
Ok so that's it for now. Again I'd like to get most of this done by the end of the week (meaning up until Sunday) but the way my schedule is it may take me a little longer. I am off of school for the next month (though I'm going on vacation on August 13 and won't be back until the 24th) so I'll be a little bit more available for questions and such. Feel free to PM or post in Belbe's Request Center. whee

Hi everyone! I've been put in charge so we have an active mod. I went ahead and accepted most of the join requests, so now hopefully we can get some more activity. But I WILL be monitoring the guild, and for all people who have five or less posts by the end of the month, you'll be getting a warning. Another week without either a good excuse or a change and you get banned. I'm not looking forward to it, but we have to do something drastic to make this guild alive again!

Just a reminder, all Out of Character comments and posts belong in the OOC room. All other threads of such nature shall be deleted within the week, so transfer anything you think needs transferring.
Also, a second culling shall be taking place shortly, to boot any non-posting members. Again, ten posts are the minimum, generally speaking. If you are reading this and have less than ten posts, GET TO WORK!

Due to inactivity in this guild, I'm going to speak with Orb/Jerrit as soon as I can. If at all possible I will try to speak with the crew of this guild about any ideas that my help revive the guild....or possibly relocate it and/or create a new storyline. Please PM me with any comments or suggestions.
