Kaleb smiled back at her and led her away from the bar with a round empty tray in her hand. "Alright. Guess the first question is, what all do you know about waiting on people?" she asked as she led her towards the other end of the room.
Penguin smiled a bit to himself as he watched Starfire go. Not only was she unbelievably attractive, but she was well mannered and quite pleasant to be around. He was definitely going to enjoy her being around here. First thing was first though. She had to both do well with the job, and pass the background check. She was far too beautiful to be an undercover cop, but he didn't take any chances when it came to his Lounge. Not with some of the meetings and business deals that frequently happened around here. Much like one he had to see to now.
Edel followed an employee towards an empty table near the large pool in the center of the room. She tried to be as polite and graceful as she could be, but the murderous look in her eyes was still visible. It would probably be there until she fully got her frustrations out of her system. Nevertheless, she smiled and nodded politely at the waitress as she was seated, then waited for someone to get to her table. This place was a bit grand. At least it was different from anything she'd ever been in. It wasn't the most expensive place she'd ever been in, but it was sufficient enough for her tastes. Some of the waitresses outfits though...

Starfire followed Miss Kaleb, "Admittedly, my knowledge of waiting on tables is limited; however, I am familiar with most of the drinks I'm seeing on your board."
The redhead indicated the chalkboard near the bartender with her eyes. For the most part, I'll simply follow your lead. Now, certain tables are waited alloted to a particular server?"

"If you know most of the drinks then this'll be pretty easy for you." she replied first, leading star over towards a table in the corner that some customers had left a few minutes ago. "Yes, everyone has couple tables they're assigned to. When someone can't make it, then we split up their tables between everyone for that day. It's fairly easy. You'll either have all elevated seating, or floor seating. Easier to watch your tables if they're all on the same plain rather than trying to watch all over the place." she continued, placing all the glasses and such on the tray. "When you clean up a table, just put everything on the trey, wipe the table down so it's clean (same with the seats) and just straighten everything up so it's ready for the next customer."

Star followed Miss Kaleb's directions, "Okay, it does sound pretty straight forward. I'll just follow along, until I can 'get the groove.' Oh, have you every had any problems with customers before?"

"Well..." Kaleb replied as she fixed up the table and picked up the tray to take it back. "Most of the people that come here are the 'high-to-do' type and usually have good manners and all that stuff. But, every once in a while we will get someone in here that's like to do more than just look at our outfits. If they don't get the message after the first warning, they're usually escorted out. We do see Batman in here every now and then, along with a few other popular faces. But nothing too drastic happens. At least not while I've been here. I have heard some stories of fights going on in here. Most that involve Batman. But things are pretty safe here, so don't worry about it too much. We do have a little bit of muscle around here for when things get out of hand."

Starfire shrugged, "It sounds like that covers that," Star began to smile and spoke in a conspiring tone, "So, what 'popular faces' have seen in here?"

Kaleb frowned a bit, and continued to take the tray up to where it needed to go. "Well...quite a few. Batman, we've had a Bat Woman in here, Joker, lot of political runners. Some of them come here for the same thing everyone else does, and a few come here to catch other people. We're not really supposed to talk too much about who all comes in here. Gossip isn't encouraged here, but I'm sure you'll see some familiar faces as you continue to work here. Just try not to bug a customer if you get to wait on them." she said as she took another empty tray and led Star towards another table.

Kaleb smiled back at Kori. "Casie." she replied.
Edel waited patiently, scanning the large room for anything interesting. She didn't find much. Anyone that was here was either having a meeting or date. She sighed to herself and turned her attention towards the pool. A pair of women making their way towards her caught her eye and she turned her attention towards them.
"Welcome to the Iceberg Lounge. May I get you anything?"
"A drink." Edel replied. "Strongest one you have."

Star noticed Edel's clipping comment ordering a strong drink.
Oh. She must be having a bad day. I can understand that one.
Star looked toward Cassie to see how she handled this.

// ACK, ninja post. //
Cassie smiled lightly at her and adjusted a small notebook on the tray so that she could jot something down on it with a pen. "Why don't I show you how bring things out first. You know what to do to clean up, so this should be the last step." she whispered back to Star. Turning her attention back to Edel, she relayed a few choices to the woman and waited to see which one she wanted.
Edel paused a moment to think. She hadn't heard of any of those drinks before...she had no idea which one would be better. "Whatever one is the strongest. I don't believe I've ever had any of them, so I'll just take what you think would be best." she replied. She glanced over at Star a moment, accidentally allowed herself to give the girl a look over. The accidental part was more the look that washed over her face then it was actually looking at the girl. Such outfits.... "Is that really the dress code for this place?" she asked.

A bit of Rose showed in Star's cheek, "Well, yes. For the decor of the Lounge. Anyway, we'll get your drink for you miss."

Edel nodded at Star and turned her attention elsewhere.
Kaleb glanced over at Star and led her back towards the bar. "Guess I forgot to mention that the women customers don't always appreciate the costumes as much as the men do." she whispered with a small smile once they were out of earshot.

Star whispered back, "I guess so. Still being nice though. The lady probably had a bad day," the Tamarian smiled back, "I guess we all understand that, eh?"
