[Enter from Gotham]  When Star arrives at the Iceberg Lounge, she confidently walks in and addresses the first employee she sees, "Hello, My name is Kori Ander, and I'm here to apply for a position."

A woman turned towards Starfire, gave her a look over with a rather surprised expression, then smiled nervously. "Um...alright. You'll want to talk with the boss then. Follow me please." the woman replied.
She led Starfire farther into the large building, around the pool that was in the middle of the room, and up to a rather round man in a suit and top hat.

"Mr. Cobblepot, there's a woman here applying for a job position." the woman said.
The short man turned around, now visible was his monacle and umbrella he apparently used as a walking cane. He gave Starfire a quick and appreciateive look over, then kept his eye contact with Star. "Thank you Miss Clayton. I'll take it from here."
The woman knodded and walked back to where she had been before.
"Now then, my dear, why don't we find somewhere to sit while we proceed with your interview." Penguin said with a small smile.

Penguin nodded and started towards one of the tables in the corner that he left open for special guests.
"You look familliar my dear." he said as he walked. "Though I can't place where I've seen you."

Star thought a moment after sitting down, "Hmmm... This is only the second time I've been to Gotham. Oh, I have done some modeling before."

Penguin smiled a bit. "Ah, that might be it then." he replied as they finally reached the table. Penguin easily climbed up into the chair, as surprising as it was with his height, and turned back towards Starfire. "Please, have a seat." he said, and waited for her to sit down. "Would you like anything to drink?"

Star almost said 'mustard' but she remembered that wouldn't be 'socially acceptable.' Then she remembered her friend Raven...
"Tea. Two sugars please."
Star gently extended her hand, "My name is Kori Ander. Nice to meet you."

Penguin nodded to a waitress that was standing ready nearby, and she quickly made her way away from them and towards the bar.
"Oswald Cobblepot." Penguin replied, taking her hand and gently kissing it. "A pleasure to meet you Miss Ander." he said, then drew back. "Now then, why don't we start with what your talents are, and what you believe you'd be able to do well here."

Star blushed slightly, enjoying Penguin's manners, "Well, I read your advertisement for the Iceberg Lounge. And you need fit, attractive women to draw in your clientele. As stated before, I've done modeling before and understand the importance of maintaining a pleasing demeanor and appearance -- especially for the atmosphere you wish to project. If you want to see my portfolio, that would not be a problem."
Star paused briefly before she continued, "Also, noticed the need for self defense. Gotham is a rough city, and security is a must. On that end, I have received training in several martial arts, such as Kung Fu, Tae Kwon Do, and Wu Shu. I'm not sure if that is what you have in mind, but I believe that I could be a 'good fit.'"
"If there are other requirements, let me know," Star then waited for Penguin's response.

Penguin listened, and tried rather hard not to smile too much as she finished. ""Well, my dear." he began. "A portfolio would be good if you have one available. But, I do believe you'll fit in just fine here. I'm always looking for lovely new faces for my Lounge. And, to be honest you're quite right about the need for defense. A few of my girls know martial arts, but should problems I'm not certain they'd be enough. I have men scattered about, of course, but I can't have them walking around my lounge guarding. No need to make my patrons nervous."

Star smiled at Penguin's reaction, "Of course, I would love to help in any way that I am able to. If there is anything you need of me, just ask."
Then the Tamarian produced a MSD to show Penguin, "A copy of my portfolio is on here, and you can confirm my work through the Ford Modeling Agency."
After placing the device on the table, Star continued, "So, Mr. Cobblepot, when can I start?"

"Thank you, Miss Ander." Penguin replied as he took the MSD. About that time, a woman finally returned with the tea Starfire had ordered earlier. She carefully placed it on the table in front of her, then turned and moved towards another table to wait on nearby customers.
"Well, if you'd like, we can get you fitted into wardrobe and have one of the other girls show you what to do tonight. Depending on how well you do, you could probably start tonight. We are a little short compared to usual. As for helping guard things, that may have to wait until we get everything else checked out. Just to be on the safe side. No need to have you jump into a fight with a costume if you shouldn't." Penguin continued.
