Silver blue eyes flickered over the clear plains before her, scanning for any signs of movement before she made her way out of her sanctuary, the forest. Sensing nothing around for at least a good mile or two and smelling nothing on the wind, she took one step forward and then another until finally she was out of the forest and in the open. She tensed, out of habit, and willed herself to relax. "Nothing is coming to harm you so relax, you're acting like a pup," she scolded herself. But still even with that every small sound made her muscles tense and her hand grip tighter on her spear. Living alone in the wild for eleven years tended to do that to you. And the last two she had been traveling every where, looking for the fabled birds, the phoenixes. She sighed, the sigh of someone who was wishing for something that they thought would never come true. Two years ago, when she had heard about the mystical birds and ever since had been looking everywhere for one of them for her own. Now she was on her way to a village where she had heard she could get more information on phoenixes and the eggs that had turned up two years ago but then disappeared. Running a hand through her long gray-blue hair she set off on her way, knowing that she was closer than she had thought to her destination. She hurried, snow flakes that had at first drifted lazily, now were becoming a little more frenzied lightly hitting her face as she rushed against it. She looked down at what she wearing and groaned mentally. Her clothes weren't the best against this kind of weather and she didn't have enough money to buy herself warmer ones. Scowling slightly she made her way against the snow, knowing that she was getting closer and closer to the village and hopefully more information.

Back in Aiya's apartment, Shreya put the last painstaking finishing touches on the neat hole she'd burnt in the door. There would be no mistaking that she'd been the one to do it; it was burnt in the exact shape of her body with wings outstretched. Satisfied, she fluttered out the main entrance of the apartment complex and went searching for her sisters.

The snowflakes whirled thicker and thicker flying into her eyes, blinding her for moments at a time. The wind threw the snow into her face stinging her cheeks. Cursing the snowstorm under her breath she doggedly pushed through her long gray-blue furry ears pressed flat against the sides of her head and her furry wolf tail wrapped around her waist. She sighed, she knew she could disspell these snowflakes in her general area but she didn't want to use her magic. One she knew she would be tired after it and two she didn't want any unwelcomed attention and thirdly she needed to bear with it. Her philosphy was what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. She didn't want to use her magic for everything, she needed to get stronger on her own. So enduring through this she began to run, holding her spear under her arm and running at her top speed. Then she saw dark shapes looming up closer and sudden scents overwhelmed her. The smell of unwashed humans and livestock, the smell of logs burning in fire and another scent, something she was sure she never smelled before. This particular scent smelled animalistic yet somehow she knew whatever this was it was magical. Feeling of excitement sprung up, she didn't know why but she knew that something amazing was going to her why she was here. A small smile gracing her face for years she ran faster becoming a blurred shape in the white snow.

((Amara enters. Woo))
"My lord, can I do anything?" Amara walked into the room with Maeve fluttering behind her, sending a thin, constant stream of complaint into Amara's mind. I still don't see why I can't perch on your shoulder, I'm small enough and I'm really tired AMARA listen to me! Amara grumbled and closed her mind off as much as she could.

Ryan looked out of his bedroom window, he had booked himself into the inn last night after he arrived in the little town. The streets were snowcovered he noted the different showprints in the snow it was obvious that this was a quiet town. Everyone would know each other, depend on each other and gossip would spread quickly. Even the innkeeper gave him an odd look, he had obviously found this travelers look unusual. What did he care as long as he bought the smugglers to justice that was all that mattered, then he could go back home and continue his training.
One day I will have full control of my power he thought to himself, not that he minded having this other side it gave him such amazing instincts and reflexes even in human form but he hated that high emotions made him change. He had always wondered what effected a lycnathropes change, some changed depending upon the moons cycle, some stayed in a strange half and half form all of their life, while others were effected by change in temperatures. Of all the things though his was emotion, before he was bitten his emotion had given him power now he had to keep levelled, or risked infecting them. Enough of the philosophy i have enough time for that when this is finished he scolded himself.
He put on his cloak sheathed his sword so it wasnt visible, and went downstairs to start his hunt for the scum with their pheonix.

She had been running for only seconds when the white snowy landscape changed abruptly to packed dirt ground with white specks scattered over it. She skidded to a stop and looked around at the wooden buildings huddled up together with smoke rising out. The smells overwhelmed her, the smoke, unwashed humans and the smell of rotting meat. She breathed in deeply for a moment then sighed. She smelled something else in the air as well, like a bird scent yet not any bird she had ever smelled before. Her gray-blue eyes shined with excitement, the excitement that her face did not show. She looked around her trying to identify where the smell was coming from, she went the way where it seemed to be the closest and the strongest.

"So you have caught it's scent as well..." Matthew murmered, mere inches away from the woman that suddenly appeared through the cloudy sheets of snow. Barely visible against the glare of whiteness, he was as a black smudge in the blizzard. Giving his silver tail an anxious flick, he rose to his feet, whatever track he'd sought blown away long ago, the only true sign being the lingering scent.
"Forces are at work on the eve, though fell or benevolent I cannot say..." Turning his attentions back to the woman, his icey blue eyes alone pierced the flurry to be visible to plain sight. "Have you also been unsuccessful in finding shelter?"

((I need Shado to post so that I can post more))
Shreya flew high above the clouds so that she wouldn't be spotted, then, sensing Aiya closer to her current location than Shikyo and Mia, dove down suddenly and swiftly and came to a halt on top of Aiya's head. You didn't leave me any food and I can't open the foodbox, Shreya told Aiya primly, ignoring the death glare waves that Aiya was sending her for leaving the apartment, so I came to find you. It's your own fault I had to burn a hole in the door.
I'll deal with you later, Aiya hissed threateningly, But be polite. We have visitors!
I know. Shreya fluttered over to Shiro, preening his hair affectionately in greeting. Then, abruptly, she took off into the air again and called to Aiya, Come on! Shikyo and Mia are here too!

(( ^^;; kill me later guys <<;;; .. <33333 .. ))
Raziels bangs had been pushed over to the side of his face, parted just so the left side of his scarred face could be seen, pitch black eyes glared out. "..Amara... so nice to see you again.." his voice was cold as Kaze fluttered up to Maeve and Amara, staying closer to Maeve.
'...Father is upset..' she spoke to her sister alone, though if she were human she would be sneering. '..it seems his sister has upset him..'
Raziel caught the last part, a wave of energy shooting past Kaze. "Watch your tongue." he hissed. His dark gaze returned to Amara in silence as he thought. "... I do not think so ... Right now I have two things on my mind .. Dax and my younger sister .." Folding his arms folded over his chest. "Amara.. join me in dinner tonight." he said, standing silently as he exited the room; this invite would be odd considering he always dined alone in a private room. "We have things to discuss about our siblings and Dax." with that he was gone.
'..this should prove interesting..' Kaze's voice echoed through the room as she took to the rafters, perching.~~~~~~
'I think they've found us finally..' Mia chuckled in Shikyo's mind, her jade eyes peering out over the horizen where she sensed her sisters. Shortly after Hotaru landed near them, Mia fluttering over to her, giving her a nuzzel near her neck. 'Sister!' she chirped for the first time, causing Shikyo to give her a rather shocked look.
'..Hotaru.. Where are the others?' she questioned, her jade eyes in their typical glare but her voice sounded kind. In truth she was happy to find the others.
Lifting the large cross sword over her back, she buckled Virtue at her waist. "Well... I guess I will wait for them here.. I can jump down to the street when I see them." she spoke aloud, resting her foot upon the edge of the roof, leaning forward slightly.

Wow, he is feeling chipper tonight, isn't he? Maeve commented, snorting. He's almost as bad as my mother is, Kaze... but she's more boring, she added privately.
One of the first things Amara had learned how to do was block her mind of Maeve's constant chatter, so the demon hadn't heard that last remark, or Maeve would most probably be hanging over a spit by now, what with the murderous mood that Amara was in. But the demon had only two things in mind at the moment: first, the dinner with Raziel. What did he mean by this invitation? Amara was a little apprehensive, but also excited. Secondly, there was the matter of her sister. Amara had tried scrying, but ever since the damn mage had severed the link between the two of them that night, it had been impossible for Amara to percieve more than a few murky images. Aiya was most probably on Etsuko still, but Amara could never be sure... ~~~ With an apolegetic glance at Shiro, Aiya took off running after Shreya, waving her fist at the phoenix. Dammit, you're flying in broad daylight, Shreya! What if some crazy bounty hunter shot you and plucked all of your feathers? I probably wouldn't get there until it was too late...
Shreya gave a cheep of happiness as she spied her sisters, and in her haste bowled into the two other phoenixes on the roof, knocking them all over. It's been too long, sisters, she sighed, preening each of them in turn.
Aiya leapt easily up to the rooftops so that she wouldn't attract as much attention running through the town like a madwoman, jumping gracefully from rooftop to rooftop and never misplacing a foot. She stopped at the rooftop next to where the three phoenixes were joyfully reunited, and smiled a little sadly. Shreya was with her own kind once more...
She waved at the figure on the neighboring rooftop, knowing without a question that it had to be Shikyo. "Well met, Shikyo," she called, leaping to the next rooftop and holding out her hand to Shikyo.

Kaze mused at the woman who had chosen to serve with her Father, a sister of her own below. '..your mother seems a bit testy.. How adequet with Father.. Perhaps you and I should avoid dinner tonight, we may be on the menu with as much havoc we cause our parents.' she mused, cold eyes narrowing. ~~~~~~~~
Watching the others reunite with their sisters, Shikyo couldn't help but give a very slight grin beneath her mask, but her jade eyes revealed her emotion.
'Ayeee~!' squeaked Mia as their third sister hurled into them, causing Mia to faulter in step, though with a few catches with her wings she had brought herself upright once more. 'Sisters!' she cheered in, fluttering to the two again.
Turning her head in time to see Aiya jump to the roof then cross over to her, she extended her hand to help pull her onto the roof fully and shook it firmly. "Good to see you're alright ... and the Mage?" she motioned to Hotaru who was with her sisters. "He's with you? ... How've you all been?" she asked, her voice still dull, quiet and almost emotionless as always.

"Let's see, let me try to answer all that... he's here, yes, fine. Yeah, Shiro's here, back there somewhere," Aiya told her laughingly, gesturing behind the two of them. "He'll probably come eventually, since Hotaru's here as well. But what are you doing here in Etsuko? I only stayed here because there wasn't really anywhere else to go..."

Shikyo's gaze had been elsewhere, but upon the question of why remain in Etsuko she glanced at her quietly. "..I've just returned.. I was in solitude training.. and I came back for two reasons.. Mia.." she motioned to her friend, then looked back to Aiya, her hand dropping to the katana which rested at her hip. "And my brother.. I'm not letting him carry through with whatever sceme he has .." she looked at the sisters then back to Aiya. "Why not go find the Mage.. I'm tired of staying in one spot." with that she stepped off the edge of the roof, taking a glance back at Aiya, smirking; it was evident behind her mask. "Coming?" with that she was at the ground, in an alley way.
'Mia, Hotaru, Shreya. Coming girls?' she sounded them off, standing where she had landed while looking up and waiting for the demoness to join her.

Shiro blinked as he was left alone in the alleyway and made his way to exit it. Instead of taking Aiya's route, he preferred the route going by foot. He was a human, after all, and did not exactly have the ability to jump onto a roof and then to another roof. Yes, he could have levitated with Jotyri, but he didn't want to attract any attention.
His gaze fell upon a roof in the distance, some few hundred feet away and sighed as he noticed that the others were up there. He continued that direction and glanced over to the exact spot he stood in two years ago. It was the exact spot where he had found Hotaru's egg and taken it back to the inn.
As he approached the building, he noticed that one of the figures on the roof abandoned it and jumped to the ground. He grinned and walked into the alley. "Hello, Shikyo, long time no see," he said and looked up at the roof once more, sensing that Mia and Shreya were there. "Ah, I suppose you two are here as well. How have you all been? It's been too long."

Her eyes turned to Shiro as he entered the alley, one hand on her hip with the other dangling by her side; her weight shifted to the left. "To you as well, Shiro." she spoke in her usual quiet tone. She looked somewhat different since she had been seen last, her hair was slightly longer and shaggier, outfit changed as well but only in places. She still wore the top in which came up to beneath her nose, hiding her mouth and neck; it was skin tight. Over this she wore a black blazer, though it was just loose enough for her to move quite freely in it. Her pants were the same, but only tighter in a small manner, the chains still dangled from them. Shifting her large sword on her back, she glanced up to the others. "Yeah ... they're there.. Mia's glad to see her sisters again.."
