Metsuki had intended on letting Mozilla have a swing at the Nidoran, but he had taken a heavy hit. He had to take a chance to end this fight right now. Mozilla would have his chance later. There were sure to be many battles ahead.
He unclipped an empty Pokeball from his belt and threw it at the Nidoran "Hopefully this works..." Metsuki said to himself as the Pokeball cut through the air towards the Nidoran.

The Pokeball hit the side of Nidoran's body and managed to trap it. The ball then fell to the ground and wobbled around for just a moment before coming to a complete rest.
The Nidoran had been captured!
Each Trainer Receives 45 Experience Points that they will distribute to their Pokemon who have been used in the fight.
If more than one Pokemon was used, the points should be distributed evenly. Don't forget to report this Experience in the Experience Report Thread. Also, don't forget to get your Pokemon's profile approved again if it levels up.

Metsuki's eyes watched impatiently as the Pokeball shook back and forth with the Nidoran inside. It seemed to take an eternity for that small orb to settle. As soon as it came to rest, and he had captured the Nidoran, a strong sense of accomplishment enveloped Metsuki. This was the first Pokemon he had caught on his own and he was completely satisfied with the Pokemon he had captured. Nidoran would prove to be a powerful ally.
He walked over to where the Pokeball laid on the ground and picked it up. While holding it in his hand he looked down with a smile on his face. "Can you see me now father? I will make you proud of me". He looked towards the sky, "I will avenge you". He clipped the Pokeball to his belt, returned Mozilla to his Pokeball, and headed back towards the city. Before he was through the grasslands he took one more opportunity to inhale that sweet open air one last time. Hopefully he could return here again one day.

Due to his activity in the guild and his current standing on Team #1, Metsuki has been given another opportunity to take up another Solo Event with the same rules as before.
Solo Event Rules
1. Start the Event by describing which Pokemon Habitat your character is heading to. Your choices are Urban, Arctic, Tundra, Taiga, or Grassland.
2. Your character will manage to find a Wild Pokemon. If you aren't interested in this specific Pokemon, you may pass up the opportunity and continue looking. In this scenario, you are only allowed to do this up to two times, so if you end up passing up two Wild Pokemon, you will encounter a third, but it will be the last that you encounter in this Event.

[Enter Arctic]
As the cold winds cut into Metsuki through his jacket he scanned the horizon for any Pokemon wandering around the area. He didn't understand why anything would choose to live out here in this freezing weather, but he was certain he could find Pokemon that could not be found anywhere else in the world here. The weather here made him long for the warm grasslands that he had just come from. He hoped he wasn't making a mistake by travelling here. All he wanted was to get a new Pokemon and to get out as quickly as possible.

The arctic habitat was a harsh environment indeed. It is why only a select few Pokemon chose to make it their home. Metsuki managed to find one of these. A round Pokemon was sat on the edge of a bit of ice, staring down into the water. It seemed to be unaware of Metsuki's presence.

The wind was starting to pick up and snow was being blown across the open area. It made it rather difficult to see, but while using his arm as a shield against the wind he noticed a blue orb sitting idly next to a patch of water. It was surprisingly fat for how little food appeared to be around. What on Earth was it eating to stay alive?
Perhaps it was a decent Pokemon, but he wanted to continue his search to see if anything else was nearby.

As Metsuki continued onward, the air seemed to get a little more cold as the sun began to fall from the sky. There would still be enough daylight for a battle, but it was definitely getting darker and colder. The Trainer happened upon another round blue ball of a Pokemon, sitting in the same sort of position that the last one had been in.

"Another one...?" Metsuki said to himself as he stumbled upon another of these round seal-like Pokemon. He looked around at his surrounding as he toyed with the idea that maybe he had gone in a circle. He was sure he hadn't though. Were these Pokemon just all over this area? He decided to ignore the blue Pokemon and looked, yet again, for a new Pokemon.

For the third time in a row, Metsuki ran into a Spheal. It seemed that fate demanded the Trainer to be linked with this round and blue Pokemon. It napped next to the water's edge, not realizing that a Trainer drew near.

Metsuki looked at the Pokemon and shook his head. He was losing his patience and the weather was getting worse. Staying out here much longer would be reckless. Might as well make this trip worth something.
"Lets see what you can do , Keris!" Metsuki threw the Pokeball containing his Nidoran towards the Wild Pokemon. It spun and opened in mid-air releasing his Nidoran in a bright flash. Keris landed on his feet and faced his opponent. He let a low bark; he didn't seem to care for the weather.

The baby Spheal looked towards the Nidoran and barked back, though the sound that emerged was more of a squeak. It wasn't sure what to think of the Pokemon that stood before it, so it merely waited to see what would happen.

Keris was obviously faster than the little blue ball. This would be his first battle and although he wasn't very powerful yet, Metsuki would be able to see what the Nidoran was capable of. He also wanted to see what kinds of attacks the Wild Pokemon had. Even though it looked harmless enough it was still living in this harsh area. It must have hidden inner-strength to survive out here. There might be more to this ball of fat than meets the eye.
Metsuki yelled over the wind "Keris! Use Peck on your enemy and see if you can soften him up a bit!". The Nidoran immediately started to dash toward the Wild Pokemon and picked up an impressive amount of speed in the short distance he ran. Right before he got to his opponent he put his head down and aimed the spike on his head at the middle of the seal-like Pokemon.
