Celia shook her head frantically at Gavin's offer. For one thing, all of those activities were against the camp's rules and secondly, Celia never ever would do those things! They were so DANGEROUS and could harm someone! "Nononono and no! You can't do those thing, Gavin!" She pleaded, taking a slight step away from the daredevil. "..you could really hurt someone.." Celia's attention turned to the blonde girl standing next to her and nodded. She had no idea who this girl was, but it was probably best that she, a councilor, escort the camper to her cabin rather than have her wandering around the camp unattended. "Of course miss... uhm. Can i ask your name p-please?" She asked in a meek voice, clutching her notebook tighter against her chest. Chloe fidgeted nervously in place, uneased by how many people were gathering around her. She signed up for a one x one councilor job, not a group one. Groups made her uneasy and extremely nervous... x❞

✖fillerJoshua entered the room; a few bunk beds lined the walls and a few chests for the belongings of the campers. He figured he wouldn’t need too much space for his duffel bag but it’s nice to have your own private storage. His counselor put his belongings on top of a bunk were now marked his. Another bed was right above his but he tried his best to hide his discomfort. His eyes shifted around as she he shook his head, careful not to feel so lightheaded. "I’m perfectly fine.” His words contradicted his physical state. "Thank you.”

He walked towards the bunk, digging his hand into his bag and wrapping his fingers around a container inside. He sighed, relived, when he gave the jar a light shake and heard a satisfactory rustle of the pills inside. He’d feel better once he felt more awake. He turned towards his counselor "Can you please give me some time? I’ll be out in a few minutes.” He promised her as he gripped the bottle from the inside of his bag in his hand. Did she know about this? His insomnia, or how others called it, his problem. It's the last thing that he wanted anyone to know about but it was inevitable. Now that he shared a room with others, they would start to question him. He felt lie a lab rat, a guinea pig. He didn't want to be judged and he definitely didn't want to be forced to sleep again. He knew that his whole body was deteriorating but even that would be better than seeing his mother again.

Heidi grinned at Celia as she heard her talk to Gavin about his idea being dangerous. If it isn't dangerous then it isn't fun. she thought with a roll of her eyes. She guessed that Gavin was some kind of dare devil and that he liked to be crazy with his little stunts. And she knew he'd definitely be of use to her. She heard Celia ask for her name and she arched a brow. "Well honey, I really don't want to know your name so why do you want to know mine?" she asked as she crossed her arms. The blonde had a glint of amusement in her eyes as she chuckled lightly. "Look, you're not my counselor and all I need is someone to show me to the cabins. I'd like to, I guess you could say, unwind a bit. Besides, it's obvious my counselor is no where to be found." she said with a light scoff.

It was only her first day and already her counselor was late. Some first impression they gave. She took a long look at Celia and sighed as she held her hand out. "I won't tell you my full name now but you can ask my counselor once you find them. But for now, call me H. And maybe, just maybe, if I actually start to like you during my stay here then you'll be able to call me by my real name." she said as she held out her hand, giving an innocent smile. Though her gaze showed her true devious side. Heidi seemed trusting for now. She was just a little bit odd. Of course, she was only going to get even more devious as the summer went by and she was hoping to get on all of the counselors' bad sides. Maybe then they'd label her untreatable and kick her out so she could go have a real summer with her friends. Doing whatever the hell she wanted.

Celia flinched at the girls bold words, taking a step back to distance herself from the girl. Abrasive and assertive--just like her mother. H reminded her so much of her parents... "O-oh. Okay. I'll show you to your cabins then. P-please follow me."She said in a mouse-like voice, her gaze never meeting Heidi's. Celia started off, excusing herself a half of a dozen times as she pressed through the growing crowd, moving towards the cabins.

Upon reaching the cabins, Celia breathed a sigh of relief--no more crowds. Thank god, she hated them. "Okay, here are your cabins. Girls on the left, boys on the right. Oh.. it looks like there is already someone in your cabin, Gavin..." Celia noted, her attention turning to Ember and her male camper entering the boys cabin. After a few moments, Ember exited the cabin alone.x❞

"Okie dokie!" Ember replied enthusiastically. She smiled at her camper before exiting the cabin, having no idea the reason why he had dismissed her. As she excited the cabin, Ember opened her campers file but immediately shut it without so much as a skim of the material. The councilor tore up the file into nonredeemable bits and tossed them into the garbage. Ember didn't want to find out her camper's story from a piece of paper. No. She wanted Joshua to tell her his story instead. Ember's mother had always enthused about the wonders of speaking of your problem and how it helped so many at her clinic. Ember smiled triumphantly. She was going to help her camper get better, not lecture him into doing so. Ember genuinely cared about Joshua, even though they had just been acquainted.

xxxGavin raised one eyebrow when she said he couldn't do those things. "Oh? I can't can I?" he said with a small smirk on his face. "Well, I do believe you just made me more motivated now Celia. I'm defintely going to do those things and many, many more," he said to her as he winked at her before looking towards the girl with funky striped hair.

As if what she did to the sign wasn't already enough to convince him that this girl was nothing but trouble, the way that Gavin noticed her analyzing them all made him a hundred percent sure of his assumption. While Celia might not have noticed it, Gavin himself surely had. He noticed that she was looking at the counselor like she was simply a play toy in her hands, which, Gavin supposed that in the eyes of this H girl, she was. He himself didn't often view people in that respect, he simply liked to have fun. Dangerous fun perhaps, but fun all the same and when new people came along to play with, it just made the game that much more exciting to him.

When Celia had said to follow her to her cabins he shrugged his shoulders once and, having nothing else better to do, went ahead and followed his counselor to where the cabins were located. He glanced over at where the boys cabins were located and saw that the guy he had seen earlier was the one inside of the cabin who he presumed Celia had been talking about. "I'm off then," he said, dramatically sweeping both the ladies a bow in a parting gesture before he walked to his cabin, passing the enthusiastic Ember with a small smile before he entered.

Gavin took in the inside of the cabin once before he chose a bed on the opposite side of the room from the one that the other guy had chosen. He put his luggage on top of his bed for the time being, claiming the bottom bunk since it was the one that he always preferred. He sat down on the bunk, ducking his head ever so slightly to avoid hitting it on the bed above him. . . the number one reason why he absolutely hated bunk beds. "What the hell kind of stuff have you been taking, man? You look like someone who hasn't had a goodnights sleep in way too long," Gavin said bluntly after he had looked at the guy for a while. If there was one thing you could always count on with him, it was that he always spoke whatever was on his mind at that particular moment without any hesitation.
