Ciaran smiled. Ah, so he had seen her... wait a minute. He looked at Koorie skeptically. "Fan club? Not even been at school 2 weeks n people are already talk'n bout me? " It was a little worry some that people were talking about him. He didn't even know most people. It couldn't have even been the guys on the basketball team because they wouldn't be in the girl's locker room.
He hoped.
"Not sure whats be'n said bout me, but don't b'lieve everythin ya 'ear, yeah?"

"Lets just say that I'm about to choke one of those stupid bimbos with their own bra if I have to hear about how 'amazing and graceful Ciaran is, with those gorgeous red locks'. Ugh, as if it wasn't annoying enough to be in a room filled with estrogen." Koorie snorted, rolling her eyes. "Girls are so stupid..."

"G... graceful?" His eyes widened a bit before he laughed heartily. "M about as graceful as a brick!" He tugged on some of his hair in slight worry. He didn't know what to think of girls talking about him like he was... well, anything other then just another guy on the team. "Maybe s'cause 'm new..." People were always fascinated with new things, right? And he'd heard that people liked accents. And he sure had one.

Ever oblivious, Ciaran looked at Koorie. "He go t'Valley too?" He had no clue that she was speaking about a famous singer. He honestly hadn't heard of the kid.

Koorie gave him a look that totally came across as 'what are you, dumb as dirt'. "No, he's some stupid half-a** singer from Canada that was discovered because of his 'popular' videos on the web that were probably mostly sought after because of his 'good' looks." She didn't think to highly of the kid, in fact, she rather pitied him for the fact that despite being 17 he sounded like he was passed over by puberty.

"Oh god no; the digital quality of it would be horrible compared to something live, and I'm not attention-starved enough to feel like I need to advertise myself in front of billions of people like that. Honestly, if that's the only way an artist CAN be signed, then the music industry might as well just give up now because all that will come from it is crap."
Koorie paused for a moment, wondering how the hell this boy had gotten her so worked up, and why she strangely enough wasn't contemplating the best way to put bodily harm on him.

"True 'nough. Tis 'nough online t'make ya dizzy. N tisn't much good either." He thought a moment. "Got o're interests b'sides music?" As much as he loved music, he wasn't sure the conversation could carry on much longer on the venue.

Koorie rolled her shoulders in a shrug, her fingers softly caressing the wooden neck of her violin. "Not really, though I do participate in martial arts." It had first been her physical therapy, but over the years she'd grown to enjoy the sessions that usually left her sweating in a very un-lady like manner. "I'm dilligent about school work as well."

"Oh, ya seem ta be a well rounded lass. What kin'da martial arts do ya do? 'N yer best subject?" He couldn't really help asking her questions. He didn't know many people, and she seemed interesting. He only hoped that he didn't annoy her to the point of leaving.

"I study in Jujitsu." She said casually, finding herself strangely settled into being around this man. It was odd since she normally couldn't stand to be around anyone, especially men. Her violin resting comfortably on her lap, she reached up and brushed hair from her face as the wind stirred up again. "My best subject is Biology and Anatomy." There was a pause before she continued.
"What about yourself."

He chuckled at that. "Ya already seem ta know some bout me." Since the girls seemed to talk about him. Really, he had no idea anyone talked about him! "Well, seems I'm good at basketball. Though I ne'r really played b'fore commi'n ta Valley high. But I spend most'a m time with m family or at church." He blushed a little "M try'n te join the clergy, see." he knew that was a pretty strange thing for people their age to want, but he'd wanted it all his life.
"As fer school, literature is prob'ly m' best. Though 'm fond o history too."

A beautifully arched eyebrow raised as Koorie looked at him skeptically at first. "The Clergy..." She kept to herself about what a load of s**t she though the whole church was, instead changing the subject completely.
"Where is your accent from."

He watched her reaction, and figured she was thinking what he knew most people though. A kid brainwashed by the church, right? He was glad though that she didn't press it.
