Koku left the table and grabbed a towel out of the kitchen. GIving it to Chacho, he turned to the new imp. "No harm no foul. My name is Koku, it's a pleasure to meet you Miss." He returned her bow with a gentle smile. "Please, take a seat," He continued, "We were just about to go to the island to do some leveling, for me specifically, I just logged in actually, and I'm far behind my peers, which is unacceptable... Would you care to join us?

Nimm stopped in the middle of bowing and straightened up. Deep down, she was a bit suspicious, but the party seemed like a group of nice people. She sat down next to the other player who hadn't said anything, and looked down at her feet. "Sorry again. I'm Nimm," the girl responded timidly. Not wanting to be rude, she unequipped her cap so that they could see who they were talking to. It was a bit of an unusual party. A Spriggan, a Cait Sith, an Undine, and her, an Imp. Nimm paused for a moment to register what Koku had said. "Wait. Island? How are you going to get there? Isn't it too far away?"Her voice trailed off as she pondered this fact. I suppose if you could fly fast enough, it would be possible to reach one of the islands before your wings gave out... Nimm looked Koku square in the eye. "I-I guess. I probably should go train more too. The Imp stretched and stifled a yawn. She hadn't been up for that long, but it seemed that she was tired already. It was of no matter. She still had energy to go on.

XXXWhen the water hit the table, he used his telekinesis to make sure none fell into his lap. A minor push, not noticeable to anyone but himself, but at least he remained dry. His eyes darted up to the imp, a smile forming on his face. She took the empty seat next to him, and he just sat by and listened. "It's supposed to be~" He said, laughing heartily. "My name's Taki, it's a pleasure to meet you. And feel free to come with us, it'll be well worth your while." He said, opening his menu and searching through the options absentmindedly. He needed to try and appear like he was relatively new to the game, even though the menu was more like an extra apendage to him. He opened the party menu and sent a party invite to both the girl beside him and Chacho, so they would all be in the same party together. Carrying two people will be difficult, but it shouldn't be a problem anymore... He thought, the expression on his face still being light and airy. Acting the part of an airhead came all too naturally to him, especially since the rush of the first day had subsided. The party menu flashed up in front of both Chacho and the other girl in the touch of a button, His eyes darting over to catch her health gauge. Nimm ... i'll have to look into her profile on the way to the edge of the city ..." He thought, cracking his neck idly. "So are y'all ready to take off? We should get going before the dinner crowd starts to over-populate the streets." He joked, smiling genuinely to the group. It was refreshing to meet a new person in the game; it was starting to feel like the original SAO again. The refreshing feeling was welcomed, and he was sure that his positive energy would effect the others. Absently, he raised a hand to the bar-keep and ordered another meal. After their new friend ate, they would be ready to depart.

Chacho

The beast tamer didn't even need to look at her menu as she absentmindedly flicked the "accept" button. She reached down and began to pet Lola who had taken up her spot in Chacho's lap. She had toweled herself dry, and waved off Nimm's extra apology. It's no problem, really. I'm Chacho, this is my pet, Lola. At the mention of her name, the feline perked up her head with a mew. Lola thought she was house cat size, which was not the case. She was the size of a large lynx, almost dwarfing her master. That didn't stop Chacho from doting on her, as she carried her almost everywhere, like a teddy bear. The little girl's green eyes locked on Nimm's. So, are you going to join us? She asked sweetly, cocking her head. The girl was excited at the prospect of having another girl on the team. As much as she adored her two friends, she wanted another girl to play with. Chacho grinned childishly. These two oafs are DDs...Damage dealers. I'm their support player, a healer. We could always use the extra help! She lied. Not about her being a healer, but about the part where they needed help. In terms of levels, at that table alone, she was the second ranked from the top in terms of numerical level, and her healing skills were maxed at this stage, so they'd be more than fine. Honestly, she just wanted the extra company, the more the merrier, as they say.

Koku smiled at all the positive energy around him. "This is exciting, I wasn't expecting to make a new friend so quickly!" He browsed through his inventory just to see what he had, sadly it wasn't much, but that was going to change. Being a spriggan, he was a natural treasure hunter, which would come in handy for earning col and rare items and materials and such. After a moment, he got quiet, lost in his thoughts. He just stared into the table holding the medallion that Chacho gave him. Before the game began, he convinced Taki to give him an amazing skill that could change the game completely, but more importantly to him, it could save his friends with only a well placed thought. "But what if I fail... I don't want to play without my friends, and I can't get out until I win..." He murmured to himself. He started fidgeting with his necklace again and lost in both fear and contemplation.

The corner of her lips turned up in a smile. Nimm was already warming up to them. She had to admit she was a little surprised when the party invitation popped up on her screen. A little hesitatingly, she tapped "accept." "Same here. It's nice to meet you all." Nimm answered more confidently. She was already turning back into her nice, normal self. Back in ALO, she had a few friends, and a multitude of acquaintances and clients, but she had never really met anyone to get close too, she had always been more of a solo player. It was a miracle really, that she had already met three other players. Nimm thought for a moment. 'Somehow, they don't seem like average, run-of-the-mill players...' And it was true. By their relaxed air, she was almost positive that they had migrated from ALO. The Imp decided to keep that question to herself for the moment, and looked around lazily. "Yes, why don't we?" Nimm replied, referring to the fact that they should get going. It was certainly true that the tavern was getting mildly crowded, if it wasn't already. The atmosphere was getting hot and stuffy, and she found herself panicking. 'No wait...I can't get asthma here...calm down...' She took a deep breath and waited, fidgeting.

Coming back from his all night training Gregory somehow managed to land gracefully into the plaza. Putting a hand up to his mouth he yawned trying to keep himself awake. He didn't realized how much energy was taken out of him. Still he had to do some things before getting off. Walking through the streets he made his way to the markets. His spear was in hand the whole time. He was a bit to tired to even want to put it on his back again. Plus he was still in a defensive mood. After all his hp was low right now and he didn't want to take any chances. Even if those chances were in the safety of a town. Once in the markets he bought himself a couple of healing potions instantly gulping them down upon receiving. His hp was restored and healthy now making him a bit more comfortable. He even managed to get his armor and weapon repaired as well. All he wanted to do now was sleep. He started to make his way to the inn. However he didn't get very far before collapsing due to exhaustion. His eyes closed and his body fell to sleep quickly.

XXXHe smiled toward Nimm, trying to ignore Koku's unnoticeable outburst. Even if it meant his death, he would protect his friends to the end. Standing up, he smiled to the group kindly. "Just take the sandwich to go. You can eat on the way to the edge of the city; if you haven't had a chance to eat yet, you're probably famished." He said, smiling as he spun around. "Let's goo~" He said, leading the party out of the tavern as they began to walk slowly to the edge of the city. Walking beside Nimm and behind Chacho and Koku, he unequipped his sunglasses as they walked. "And i hope i'm not overstepping boundaries, but i'm going to have to carry you up to the island. And i swear i'll be on my best behavior~" He said, sticking out his tongue before laughing heartily. Though he wasn't overly flamboyant, he still put off his signature homo-vibe in a little less than subtle manner. Thinking about the training they were about to enter in, Chacho and himself would have to play the part of support while the other two played forward; after all, they weren't the ones who needed to level. He wanted to get them up to an acceptable level so he could take them into the dungeon in a couple of days. Then he could really make sure they had high enough levels to ensure their safety whenever they encountered their first Boss.

Koku walked hand in hand with Chacho on the way to the edge of the city, it was going to be his first battle experience, "I have Taki and Chacho here, I wont need to use my skill yet..." he thought to himself. With his free hand, he was fidgeting with his dagger making it disappear and reappear. He smiled as he was beginning to get the hang of his illusionary powers. He sobered up however when he saw the edge of the city.

Chacho

The point where they flew out to the island was out of the way, behind a row of buildings. It was fairly intimidating. You could see the island in the distance, though it looked like much farther then one could fly. They were standing on the edge, below them there was nothing but the line of clouds.Well, there it is. One hell of a flight, but we've made it many times before. Chacho skipped in place as Lola soared in circles above them. She had told her pet to keep an eye out for anyone who could have followed them, but it seemed the coast was clear. Chacho turned to Taki You sure you can carry both of them? It'll slow you down a bit..

"Ah, thanks!" Nimm took the sandwich and daintily took a bite. It tasted amazing, far more delicious than anything she would ever eat in real life. As the small party stepped outside, she equipped her sword and armor, while getting rid of the hat and jacket. Nimm soon demolished the sandwich in a couple of bites, and followed behind everyone else. When they did finally get to the very edge of the Floating City, the girl stared at the sky, her eyes wide as saucers. 'Wow. That is far.' "Erm. So you're going to carry us?" she asked Taki, referring to Koku and her. "Aren't we uh, a bit too much to carry on your own?" Nimm didn't want to be too much trouble to them. If she had a choice, she would fly there herself, but the Imp didn't think she was capable of doing so, for now.

XXXSmiling, he wrapped his arm around the waists of both Nimm and Koku, sighing lightly. "It shouldn't be a problem ... And if it is, i can always get y'all close enough to fly there on your own." He said, smiling softly. His wings appeared from his back, twitching in preparation. He turned his face toward Chacho, laughing at her doubt. "Just try and keep up, hun~" He said, his wings going up, their glittery nature seeming to amplify significantly. "Y'all better hold on tight ..." He warned, his wings slamming downward as he launched the three of them skyward. The weight was a little much for him to normally handle, but he was confident that he could make it.

Chacho

Chacho and Lola zoomed off after them. With Taki so weighed down, she could have zipped ahead, but instead she flew below him, spotting him.

"Do not wail and do not weep, it's time for you to go to sleep. Little children, you were not clever. Now you'll stay with me forever."

As Wicker logged in, he felt a strange sensation as his entire perception shifted and joined with his character. He gazed through Wicker's eyes and moving his fingers, worked the feeling in the character's digital body. His silvery eyes looked up, flickering between the moving bodies of other players in the area. A spawn location for spriggan, he guessed. Yes, he recalled something about that, whilst he had been researching information about the game. He had participated in virtual reality mmos before, but this was on a much larger scale. It reminded him of another, similar game, but again, this was more expansive and detailed. He didn't move for awhile as he simply took in the sights and tried messing around in the menu. He thought back to the bits of information he read up, testing how to check his equipment and skills. “Nice engine. Bet a lot of concerned parents would hate this game,” he joked aloud as he closed out of the character menu. For the first time since logging in, he really looked around and considered that he didn't know where to go or what to do first. His general idea was that gaining his bearings was his top priority. His secondary objective would have to be leveling. He smiled, thinking that soon, he could begin his own game. Currently everyone was a noob, so he had to hurry to the upper levels so he could have his fun. There were no doubt others working their way up even as he stood wondering. Wicker sighed and set off in a random direction, picking through the crowds as he mindlessly wandered. He looked up and down each street as it came into view as if checking for traffic and again, randomly selecting his path, he continued on. “Wonder who the sheep are and who are the wolves?” he mumbled as he went. Doubtless, there had to be others besides him who joined solely for the sport of player hunting. A strange thought crossed his mind as he considered the possibility of ending up a victim himself. It was a vicious world after all.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Slowly Gregory opened his eyes to find himself in a unfamiliar place. Looking around he appeared to be in a small but cozy looking room. From the look of the place it was like a room at an inn. He sat up in the bed and stretched his arms over his head. His body felt a bit tired still and parts of it ached. The question lingering in his mind though as how he got here in the first place. He didn't recall getting to an inn at all. In fact the last thing he remembered as face planting into the ground in the middle of the markets. Looking out in the window he saw that it was about still day time, about mid day he guessed. Out of instincts he decided to open up his menu. Quickly he searched for the log out button. He was a bit annoyed at first that he couldn't find it. Then he recalled reading about this game not having a log out feature. That was right, it was one of the things that brought him into this game. He wanted to experience or at least know what his brother had went through in the first SAO. It might of been foolish of him to decide to entering in this game knowing that it was a huge risk. However he couldn't just imagine anymore. He wanted to know. What could have possibly ended his own brothers life. The thought didn't linger long. Now wasn't the time to sit around. It was time for action. Quickly he hopped out of the bed before he stretched one more time. Exiting the room he made his way down stairs wanting to head outside.

The innkeeper saw Gregory coming down the stairs. Instantly he spoke up, "Hey looks like some one is feeling better." Gregory stopped for a moment and turned to the innkeeper. "Yeah...I feel great actually. Hey how did I even get here?" He replied being curious about it. The innkeeper smiled happily. "Well about several hours ago a group of players came in here. You were being carried by one of the bigger fellas. They were concerned about you and asked if they could by a room for you. Those players sure were nice. You could of been player killed in your sleep if it wasn't for them bringing you here." Gregory thought about what the keeper said for a moment. Could it have been possible for that to happen? Even if it was so he was glad it didn't. From now on he would have to be a bit more careful. Opening his inventory he pulled out a small thing of gold he had collected during his training. "Yeah I am grateful for their kindness. Here if you see one of those players would you give this to them. I wish to give back to them somehow." He said with a smile while handing over the gold to the keeper. "Of course I will. Feel free to come back anytime yourself." Giving the keeper a nod Gregory then turned towards the door heading outside. Quickly his mechanical wings appeared on his back and he took off into the air. This time he headed back to the hunting grounds. He needed to get stronger and there was no time to waste.
