I have a favorite character! Player Name : Angelique DelaMort Pref List : Male, female Favorite Character : PavlovRP WIth Character : Pavlov makes a friend!Why is this one your favorite?: Pavlov didn't start off as a favorite, he wasn't really what I had in mind when I thought of soquili. But he needed a personality to play off his unique looks so I cursed him and made him a coward, afraid of everything, even his own shadow. But even with the fear he had some type of moral fiber and he had a lot of room to grow. I think that's my favorite part about playing Pavlov, watching how he can grow and seeing how he copes with being a little damaged. Edited to link instead of image tag

She is there. She is bold. And she will NOT take disrespect, especially from those lessers she so hates. I dunno exactly what it is about her, but her muse speaks to me on a level other's haven't yet. She's also my first pure blood kalona, and for that, she holds a special place in my heart.

He'd do anything for Tin, no matter what the cost to himself, but that playful, awkward boy is still right under the surface and still comes out from time to time even when he's trying to be strong.

Events and things in his life did not go that way though. He was my first soquili that there needed not be any plotting, planning, or discussion of possible events to come for an rp to take place; all I had to do was *toss him into the thread* and his muse would take flight. To this day there is no stopping his muse. It has a mind of it's own and will do as it pleases. He's had a very hard life and little to nothing that I had originally intended has come to pass, yet he has developed beyond what I could have ever imagined.

She's insanely fun to play, probably because she's so insane, while also being super sly and calculating. Her personality is always testing my ability to think and write outside the box and I adore it.

She forces me to detach and think a bit more selfishly. IRL, I've worked hard to relearn how to be nice and caring (vs. cynical and pissy), and she lets me get some of my instinctual reactions out. She takes it too far sometimes, though (see linked RP - yikes!), and that's when we start to disagree. TL;DR: She makes me a more well-rounded RPer.

Her plots always catch my attention first and I adore RPing her above all others.

I have a favorite character!Player Name : Mindsend Pref List : Tri Paint Mare, Blue Roan Stallion Favorite Character : TIE: Cuauhcoatl VS TaarabRP WIth Character : Cuauhcoatl: Worlds Apart / Taarab: Boarders of FearWhy is this one your favorite?: Choosing between characters is like choosing between children, but when one manages to narrow it down, it becomes impossible to choose at the end: Both characters mean the absolute world to me, and arent riding on previous OC-fondness but fully developed here at soquili, and often times I feel that they are the two most Iconic of my characters. Cuauhcoatl
While he wasn't my first, Cuauhcoatl was still one of my first soquili. I Actually started Rping him before I won him in the July Customs Month in the OC thread, his character loud (If stuttering and stumbling all over his words) in my mind enough that I couldn't wait. The big lovable nerdy Angeni has remained one of my most beloved soquili, especially with his simple ability to see beyond the physical and love for who someone is inside, and see all sentient life as Equals: His Spirit-Sister is an Eagle, his mate is an Usdia, his children range from the biological (with a somewhat bitter sweet plot behind them), the abandoned (Foals given families when their biological kind were broken), and even the Spirit Given (Wishing stars have been kind to them) even if some of their offspring are completely water bound. And soon Tirokio and I will be RPing out their official lifemating: an exciting moment that we simply need to get organized enough and get to the point where he officially asks her and they start planning (Additionally: Some interesting drama is headed their way, though nothing that'd cause any heartbreak... More migraines than anything)
Additionally, researching for an explanation for what he was eventually helped me find out that I, Myself, am not "Broken" but instead Asexual. And when a character can help you find YOU, they mean the world to you.
Taarab
Taarab on the other hand, while he did little to help me find me, his ability to work and change the world around him, his loyalty, friendship, and bravery has made his story so far an adventure I just cannot get enough with. It's so much fun to play a character who has limits to what he is allowed to do simply due to the culture he lives in, and still manages to flourish and become an important, notable figure within his people. And he's the grandson of one of my favorite couples., and father of many amazing children. There's just so much to love about him, and he was one of my first (if not THE first) Of my soquili I've managed to max out in stats, and he is STILL one of my noisiest muses (And with his story I feel he MIGHT be eldership material. Wont be trying for a long time though cause I still feel he's got more to do and there's plenty of story to tell before he's ready for the spirits to choose him)

But he can interact with almost any personality, hes rather tolerant of those he thinks are below him, and true to his character he doesnt sugar coat or pretend to be anything else but what he is. A monster..Whom I love. He is even only semi tolerant of his own familiar Discord..and I always seem to have muse for him.

None of my other characters are like her; she's just always so snappy and mad and I love it soooo much. None of my characters have such baggage and it adds a lot to her interacations. While Hero hasn't had any character development beyond her default stage, there's so many possibilites and a lot of potential for her to change from a bitter young adult to someone a bit more worldly, I think!

Favorite type of character to play: Right now my favorite is Nicole, she is a Romanian Japanese princess, someone who I created a few years ago for a school roleplay.
Why?: I don't really know why enjoy roleplaying as this character, probably because she is someone stronger then I could ever be. She is able to stand up for herself and fight what she believes is wrong. I guess you could say she is the person I wish I could be. Then again who doesn't want to be a princess at some point?
I guess in the end, I like her because I am able to forget about the past I had to live.
