Renèe walked into the doorm, shuffled her bags around a bit, and finally found what she was looking for: her Potions book. She stared at it doubtfully for a moment, before a devious glint appeared in her eyes. She walked over to the window and tossed the book outside, then headed back to her bed, lay down, and told herself that a night outside would do the book some good. With luck, maybe it would rain and she would have an excuse not to do her Potions work from now on... 'Sorry, Professor, but the ink ran and I couldn't see any of the words properly.' She grinned. It was worth a try.

Sira woke up as she heard the potion book hit the ground.
*snort* "hubba wazza nuhn-" she gazed around the room and spotted the girl.
"what the??"
She then saw Ana.
-pause-
She flattened out her skirt and pulled off her boots.
"Whoa! Nice book. I take it your into quidditch too, eh? I hope i make it on the team...."

"Oh, yes! I'm a chaser. What position are you trying out for? Here." She muttered an incantation under her breath, and instantly another copy of the book appeared in her hand. She handed it to Sira. "So far, we're the only ones who have that book, so be careful with it!"

"I'm a chaser too! awesome! Thanks for the book, I will...so, what broom do you have? I've got an old hand-me down...a nimbus 2000! Can you believe that? It works great for me though...." she murmured, as she glanced over at her nimbus, which was leaned against the side of her dresser.
"I think I'll take it for a spin...." she said, her hand grasped around it.

Sira had fallen asleep in the common room. She woke up to hear the crackle of the fire. The room was empty.
Even so, she was embaressed, so she cascaded up the spiral staircase, nimbus in hand.

"Hey Sira! What's up?" Ana said, as her friend walked into the dorm. "I saw you flying through the window of the dorm. You're great! You're right about the broom, it handles as if it were new! Wouldn't it be awesome if we were both on the team? I wonder when tryouts are." Then she glanced over at a new bed. There was a girl sleeping on it. "Who's that?" she wondered out loud.

Ana walked back in. She sat down on her bed and read some more of Complex Quidditch Moves.

"Eh...nothing really. I crashed in the common room last night sweatdrop . Thanks! We should practise some time. Yea....I hope!! All of the classes are starting late....its annoying." she said, while scanning the outside.
The snow was falling hard and the great lake had frozen over.
"My, the weather sure has changed fast....( whee )"
