blaugh Not done with yet

Ana walked into her new dorm. She looked around at all the beds that had been set up. Oh good, only one bed was taken, the one in the corner. She picked a comfy bed with a baby blue frame in the center of the room. She sat on it, and instantly, the multi-colored quilt that her mum had made for her appeared at the end of her bed, and her trunk appeared next to her. It was covered with stickers and posters. She had posters of all of her favorite Quidditch players, photos of her family, and just about everything else you could imagine. She pulled it down to the foot of her bed. But she had to get out of the dorm and meet people, or else she would be a total failure. Ana had high ambitions for herself at Hogwarts. She wanted to be a chaser for the Ravenclaw team, get good marks, be popular...she wanted to be a major teacher's pet, but still be able to get into fights and trouble, and most importantly, not be labeled an attention hog, pretty hard to do, but for someone with Ana's charm, it was definetely possible, at least after people got to know her a bit. So Ana walked out into the common room, and on into the corridor.

((Edit: Oh wow...reading this over...scary! eek Oh well. I'm glad she didn't turn out like that! xd ))

Ana stormed in. Keith seemed nice at first, but he was so strange! And that parchment! But walking out on her like that! It infuriated her. But the girl in the corner bed still wasn't there. No other beds had been taken either. But the dragon sitting on the girl's bed was cool, and Ana loved the stickers that plastered the dresser. I'll bet she's really nice, thought Ana. She's better be, if she's gonna be my only dorm mate! With that, she flopped down onto her bed to read Flying with the Chudley Cannons again.

Jadessa's bed was a lovely white cast iron bed. A lilac duvet cover spread lightly over the bed. Faeries and pixies frollicked on the duvet. A small jade coloured kitten(she transfigured her jade necklace into a cat for company) jumped up over the covers. It hissed wildly at the faeries, believing they were real.

A white trunk lay at the foot of her bed. In it were all sorts of letters, papers, books, potions, and memories from her years here. On top of it lay a beautiful jade statue of a faerie her mother had given her.

Ana walked into her dorm and looked around. She saw her snowy owl, Gandalf, sitting on her bed, so she went over and picked him up, putting him on her shoulder. Then she saw something more exciting. Two new girls had moved in! One had lots of jade colored things, so, though she wasn't there, Ana assumed it was the girl called Jade whom she'd seen in the library. But the other girl, Ana didn't recognize. She was sitting by the window, looking out. Ana thought the girl looked friendly enough, so she walked over to the girl and introduced herself. "Hi! I'm Ana! I sleep in the blue bed over there. What's your name?"

"So sorry....I need to stop by the library" Sira grabbed her school bag and the tin box that was sitting on her dresser "Nice meeting you!" she said as she scampered down the stairs and out the picture of the knight.

Ana returned to her dorm. Gandalf was gone. Probably hunting. But maybe he's visiting Mum and Dad! Then he'll bring back a letter! she thought excitedly. With that in mind, she flopped down on her bed and went to sleep.

Sira awoke in a cold sweat. Her eyes darted around the room, to see no one. Her breathing was heavy, and fast.

"I almost could've.....eh....probably just to much pumpkin pasty" she muttered to herself. She slid out of bed and glanced at her watch "Its early....5:07"

After changing into some fresh robes and brushing her hair, Sira sent out for the great hall for breakfast. She grabbed her school bag and climbed out of the hole behind the picture of the knight.
