Kari looks back out to the water when Karama says it's time to go, having never really seen such a creature before. She shudders, watching it, deciding to be more careful- then she looks back to Karama and follows after her.

"So, now we can play a game?" she asks, "What games do you like?"

The leopardess shrugs, one ear flicking backwards at the cheetah. "You can pick. " She said, not really caring whatever the cub picked as long as it wasen't anything in the lines of; go wake up the biggest badest lion and run for your life!

.. Cubs sure seemed crazy enough to do that, anyways.

"Ok!" Kari replies brightly, "But if you don't want to play what I pick, you just say so, kay?" She sits down and thinks about the possible games. Hide and seek is always fun, and racing. But which would Karama like more? Maybe hide and seek, she's good colors for it!

"How about hide and seek?" she asks, smiling hopefully at the leopardess.

Karama blinks a bit, hide and seek.. She probably did that so much without even noticing, didn't she? "Ok, Hide and seek it is. " Truth is, hide and seek was probably a better choice in her mind, she wasen't a big fan of tag, especially with a cheetah. Though, even then, this one was small and young, so perhaps they would be evenly matched there aswell.

"Who seeks? "

Had she ever really played hide and seek? Perhaps once.

Chuakari watches Karama's reaction to the suggestion carefully with a small, hopeful smile on her face. She does an excited little jump when Karama agrees to it.

"Uhmmm," she pauses, taking a moment to think about it, "Which do you want to do? I bet you're real good at both! Definetely better at hiding than me!" She holds up a pink paw as her explanation of why.

Hide and seek is probably Kari's favorite game, she's played it with anyone who's agreed to games and she's always enjoyed it!

The leopardess looks at the cub, then nods. "Ok, then you seek. " She said, awaiting for the cheetah to count or whatever she did for her to start hiding before being seeked out.

"Alright! I like seeking," she beams, then drops to the ground right where she is. Her pink paws go over her eyes and she starts to count confidently.

"One, two, three," she takes the first couple slow to make sure that Karama knows she's supposed to hide, though she's sure the leopardess knows that anyway!

She awaited the two to move, and went past the cheetah's left, purpously breaking a stick or two, giving some fake annoyed mutters at how clumbsy she'd been to do it. But then, she set off in an almost opposite direction, retracing her last few steps, then head soundlessly away from her previous direction, so that she wasen't in the cheetah's line of view unless it turned around compleetly.

There was some nice tall grass around here, and it wasen't too far to be impossible to be found. She slipped into there, all the way into the thicker middle, were the grass was quite messy and tangled. These were usually were cheetahs hid their young while hunting if there was the opportunity, but there was nothing here, even if the scent of them didn't seem like an oddity.

It'd hide her, then. Slipping under one of the bundles, she crouched in, shadows hiding her quite well, looking like the leaves shadows.

Hide and seek wasen't too bad.

Chuakari counts carefully to twenty, listening to every move that Karama makes that gives any noise. Her ears are turned to where the twigs and muttering were, expecting to go find her somewhere over there, not even thinking that it could be an intentional distraction from the right direction. She hesitates after reaching twenty before moving her paws and opening her eyes, just in case the leopardess needed the extra time.

"Ready or not," she calls out, "Here I come!"

She gets to her feet, her eyes in the direction that Karama seemed to have gone in. The cheetah smiles, though she doesn't dare to get cocky this time- last time she did that, she made a fool of herself. Not this time! No way. She'd be sure before she said anything.

"Huhu," she hums, heading off in that direction, "Kaaarama~"

The call is not to get an answer, just for her own amusement.

She didn't need sight to tell the cheetahhad gone the way she'd misled her, but it was also easy to realise this meat sitting here for longer aswell. Holding back a sigh, the dark leopardess relaxed a little more in the grass, patiently waiting to be found.

"Karama," Kari calls again, circling the area the stick was broken in to mislead her and quickly realizing that the leopardess is not actually there. Slowly the cheetah scans the area for some sign of Karama, or something that looks like a suitable hiding spot. Her tail swings behind her excitedly.

The only possible hiding place in the opposite direction is the grass, but there's a LOT of that so she'll have to look really carefully! Or go through it all really quickly..

Either way should work!

Picking up the pace, she heads for the grass and searches through it for several minutes. She doesn't actually spot Karama, but rather stumbles over her tail while looking in the opposite direction.

"Karama!" she squeals, stumbling in an exagerated manner a couple steps over and away from her tail, hoping that she didn't step too hard on it.

The leopardess, unfortunatly, had actually forgotten she was playing hide and seek, so when the cheetah stumbled on her tail, her emmediate reaction was turn and pounce, wich is what she attempted. She was about to attempt and sink claws into the cheetah, before remembering the game and stretching awkwardly to change her landing pattern, and land just inches away from the cheetah, tumbling a bit thanks to all the grass.

"I've got to loose that habit, " She mutters in annoyance to herself, shaking her fur, before looking over to the cheetah. "You ok? "

Karama sits down, before grinning. "I noticed you fell for the decoy? Their always usefull in hiding.. Games. " She added 'games' hastly, to her it was more for staying alive, but right now, the subject was another, wasen't it?

When Karama turns and pounces, all Kari can see is the claws on the leopard's paws and her eyes widen. She barely manages to cower even slightly before Karama lands just feet beside her, clearly stunned. She gives a shaky, forced laugh when Karama mutters to herself about habits. No need to worry, she didn't mean it..

She manages to resume a more natural posture, but is considerably more cautious now.

"I'm fine," she mutters, then nods to the next comment, "I-it was a really smart thing to do! I didn't even guess that's what you did."

"Their always usefull. "

She said, streching out in the tall grass, to take off the effect of having been curled up for awhile untill she'd been found.

"Is it your turn to hide now? "

"I'll remember that then!" she squeaks brightly, "Except now that might not work in a game anymore, 'cause you already know and now I know, right?"

She does a quick circle to calm herself back down some.

"It's my turn to hide if you don't want to!" Kari says with a nod.
