It's a bright day and Chuakari decided to go wander around, trying to find some of the cheetahs around here- she'd wandered off a bit from where she'd been taken by Laio, though she's sure she remembers the way back. With a cheerful smile, and skips through the grass with her head high in hopes of seeing someone to talk to, or play with. It's always more fun when you find someone, and she's only met nice creatures so far!

All the more reason to be optimistic.

"One, two, three," she counts as she goes, counting in time with her steps, "four. One, two, three, four!"

Counting? That wasen't really something one heard everyday. For once, the leopardess' intention had been relax, she was sprawled on the short grass, leaning on a rock. She could see if anything came, and the juvenile cheetah was an easy view, even if her nice, rosy pink didn't stand out too much from the grass.

She murmured a slight annoyance, indeed, spots seemed to be vanishing, last one she'd seen with spots was Keone. So Cheetas had the same problem too now, huh? She didn't care to give an introduction, this young creature didn't really matter unless it actually said something other than numbers.

"One, two, three, four," she continues to count as she steps, and when she turns her head back to look in the opposite direction she spots something brown laying in the grass. Immediately Chuakari's smile widens, and she scrambles towards the leopard- though she doesn't know that's what the creature is.

"Hello!" she says brightly, stopping a couple steps from the leopard.

"'Lo. "

She said undifferently, looking at the pink cheetah with no apperent interest. She let a yawn escape, before strching and getting to her paws. "Who're you? " She asked as her tail swished behind her.

She didn't plan on hunting today, there was no real need to, but she was starting to get thirsty, at least she knew of watering holes.

Endless wandering had its advantages.

Kari's smile falters a bit at the indifferent greeting she gets from the leopard, but is encouraged again when she continues. Even if she doesn't sound enthusiastic, the fact she's staying and talking is a good sign!

"I'm Chuakari!" she exclaims, "Who're you? What are you?"

Oh yes, leave it to Karama to find an energetic one. "I'm Karama, and I'm a leopard. " She said, slightly annoyed at how the cub coulden't realise what she was, what else had /this/ kind of spot? Oh, wait.. Some leopards didn't have any.

Her tail now hang still behind her, tip lightly curled to not drag on the cround. Not that it'd make much a difference, her color was quite dark, afterall. "This hs got to be some sort of epidemic. " She murmured to herself, still finding it odd at how this cheetah only had one heart shaped spot. No spots at all was definately different from no stripes, like she'd seen on that Jani'Esquillo guy.

Chuakari frowns at the annoyed tone in Karama's voice when she replies, her whole body looking less spirited. She must have offended the leopard- but she's never seen any before!

"I'm sorry!" she says hurriedly, "I've never seen a leopard before. You're really pretty, Karama! You have pretty spots. They're not like Uri or Laio's."

Her ears perk forward again when Karama mumbles, and she makes an effort to understand what she said. This .. gobble.. demon-pick.. ?

"What?" she dares to ask in a quiet voice, worried that she'll get annoyed she didn't hear her the first time, ignorant to the fact Karama was talking to herself.

Sighing, the leopardess sits down. "S'ok. " She said quietly.

She blinked as the cheetah asked what, but, unwilling to explain why she found the lack of spots weird, invented something else. "Just reminding myself to go drink water later. " Wich wasen't entirely a lie.

Kari doesn't have any idea that Karama isn't telling the truth, but she does have to wonder what a demon-pick has to do with finding water. She doesn't think on it too long before jumping, smiling brightly once again.

"I know where there's water if you want some now," she offers, hoping to prove herself to be of some help.

The leopardess climbed on the rock, making sure there was nothing that could be a problem in sight, before climbing down the other side. "I know where there's water, " She said simply with a small shrug, how would she even be alive if she didn't know?

Unfortunatly, one can't swim in the savannah. As a leopard, Karama rather enjoyed it, only, she can't swim with crocodiles swimming around in the water, like many things, she became very vulnerable in there.

Kari makes a face when Karama denies her offer for finding water. So far, leopards seem much harder to please than anything else she's met so far! There must be something she can do..

The cheetah walks around the rock to where Karama climbs down.

"Um," she hesitates, not sure what to say to her, "Do you like games?"

She asks quietly, guessing the answer will be no. But of course, Uri didn't seem like he'd like games so much, but he played hide and seek.

The leopardess held back a sigh at the enthusiastic cheetah, but decided she might as well stop being.. Well, herself. "Sure, just afte I get a drink. " She said, trying to not sound too unenthusiastic, even though she was never goot at it.

Kari brightens when Karama agrees to a game despite the almost-enthusiastic tone she has when she agrees. Agreeing is a good thing! Unless.. she doesn't really want to.

"Do you really want to?" she asks quietly, "You don't have to play a game if you don't want to."

"I don't have anything to do, " she said simply, before heading towards the closest waterng hole, wich still wasen't too close by. Even though nothing seemed to be around, and she asen't hunting, Karama's steps were quiet, barely ever making a noticable sound, even if her features prooved relaxed.

It was something she'd grown used to, being quiet. She had done it so much, that ow it was easy, and she did't need to pay much attention to do so.

"As long as you won't hate playing," Kari says, almost in a scolding tone, though only to indicate that she doesn't want to do anything Karama does not really want to do. But she contents herself to walk along brightly beside the leopard, knowing they are heading for water because of what Karama said.

She more they walk, the more it becomes obvious to the cheetah that it doesn't sound much like she's walking with company. It doesn't take a lot of experience to be able to tell when you are alone or are not alone.

"You walk real quiet, it's like you aren't here!" she says in a hushed voice, "I bet you're real good at hunting too."
