As for the year up thingy: Can we maybe have a 'school assignment' where our super has to write about her last year? It'd be in their POV but would also have a pretty good 'list' of important things they did during the year... just an idea...


My list certainly wasn't meant to be exhausted, just with ideas. I rather like that. smile

The Skills... This seems like a LOT, but really, it isn't. MANY of them go hand and hand and can be written up at the same time.

Everyday:

Strength - Physical strength... how pumped is your child?

Endurance, Physcial - How long can the kid pack a punch?

Agility - How flexible is your child? IMPORTANT...the lower this is, the more likely injuries will come!

General Knowledge - How well does your kid do in school?

Specific Knowledge - These are extra skills they you can ADD to your child's ability. These are AGE APPROPRIATE (so they have to be approved) and they can only have as many as the age can be divided by 5 (a 10 year old can have 2, a fifteen year old 3, etc...)


Evo Related:
Energy - Power strength.... how much kick does your child's power have?

Endurance, Power - How long can your child control that stuff?

Power control - Is your child likely to blow up on accident or not? How can s/he manipulate powers? (this may have to be subcategorized depending on child's power)

STRATEGY-RELATED:

Social Strategy - This can ONLY be developed starting at 15 years old, and will begin at "horrible." Basically..how much of a leader is your child?

Logic - How well does your kid think?

General Battle Insight - Will your kid rush headlong into things, or think it out well?

Attack - Battle strat
Defense - Battle strat

Developing Skills (unlike the development paragraphs for aging, these CAN be put into one post AND/OR done with development paragraphs...careful, has to be done well ^_^)

"Below Average" Skills:
each level requires the same amount of paragraphs as the number up (nonexistent = 0, so to go to horrible, which is 1, you have to write one paragraph, to go to the next level, you'd have to write two, etc...) The MOST these skills can go up BOTH OOCly and ICly is once per week.

Average - Good Skills
Each level requires the same amount of paragraphs as the number up, but now advancements cannot be done through self-discovery. They must be made through some sort of training or specific study. The MOST these skills can go up is biweekly.

Skills above "good" will be individually identified as needed. These will NOT be easy to achieve!

Age restrictions on leveling up:

The answer to the question of the student being able to go beyond if they're very astute in training/studying is almost definitely no... I won't say fully no...But the likelihood of having anyone above age-level ability in any category is extraordinarily low... And if it ever happens, it will only be one or two levels and it will only be in ONE skill area.

Age 10 - Cap is Horrible (Level 2)
Age 11 - Very bad (Level 3)
Age 12 - Bad (Level 4)
Age 13 - Reasonable (Level 5)
Age 14, 15 - Average (Level 6)
Age 16, 17 - Above Average (Level 7)
Age 18 - Good (Level icon_cool.gif

Levels 9 - 11 will be determined...they WILL take some extra years and time to develop!

Paragraphs in skills area:

Remember 1 paragraph is equal to a min. of 5 sentences.

What do paragraphs entail?

The paragraphs have to be some sort of training or discovery... A paragraph on school will bring up the general knowledge. A paragraph on being manipulative may bring up reasoning skills. A paragraph training would bring up strength and/or power and/or strategy skills.


One final warning:

We need to try to make skillbuilding AS EVEN AS POSSIBLE... if you concentrate all on power building, wonderful, but since your child has not a lick of sense, it isn't going to do a bit of good... Soo, please remember to even it all out!

And by the most good+ skills can go up is biweekly, is that each specific skill, like you can have 2 Power Controls and 1 Agility go up, or is it merely 2 period?

Other than those, I'd say it makes complete sense.

More general, science is a HUGE field....For example, I went ahead and added "shock waves" to Erol's more specific knowledge.

You can make all of your skills go up , but one specific skill can only go up once every whatever.

Once again, I've done Erol and Raleigh's journal for a rough idea of how this is going to work...I'm being somewhat leniant with the journals right now, mostly because these skills weren't previously implemented, but it gives an idea.

OK.... I think I know what needs to be done now... Including some more RP's by me *chuckles* I'll have two more to add in soon *hopefully* Then I'll work on a few of the 'required' specific types of RP's ^-^~
