ChevalBunita
This was what he wanted right? Her to fight? Oh why oh why was she letting the male begin to cloud her mind. Fuega had never been in a fight this heavy before, in fact the only fights she had been in where when she stulked and killed her prey...never head on. As the female attacked her, the red one tried to counter though let a managled cry excape her snout as she felt sharp jaws cut into her shoulder. She heard a tearing sound, but didn't bother to look at what it could be. No, the bold of electricity that soon filled her body too much to pull her mind away.
It was then that something inside the female snapped. She would never have the same blood lust that Cathal had, but the ripping at her shoulder hurt beyond anything and needless to say...the Gamma was pissed.
"Filthy b***h!" she snarled as she shrug the female off of her. She quickly leaped to the side and doged the clamping jaws. Using that few seconds of leverage to sink her teeth into the side of the female's neck.
Yakobi As Cathal's jaws closed more, his fangs digging even deeper into his vitem's neck a 'snap' rung out. The sides of his maw curling more then they already had been. That was it. It was over. The wolf that he clamped in his jaws had passed, they had fallen to him. A large ego boost for the male...not that he needed one. His head soon raised as Fuega shouted to her challanger, the male chuckling to himself.
He licked his chops, the blood smearing across his snout. The warm blood tasted good and it was ovious that Cathal would have no problem eating another of his kind. And he would have torn the dead female before him aprat had he not eaten that day already. Had his stomach been a little less full.
Flopping down on his haunches, he watched the red female fight. He'd leave the last wolf for her. After all it was her fight...Unless of course that other wolf chose to attack him. ChevalBunita
Fuega continued on, her jaws working to snap the female's neck before the other even had a chance to register what was happening to her. Once she heard the familar crunch of breaking bones she dropped the now dead wolf to the ground and looked around for Cathal or the last attacker. When she saw the male just sitting there the fire in her eyes died down just a little. So he really was going to watch her die. Either that or he wanted her to prove herself to him.
Very well. The gamma raised herself up as.......she stilled as the aphla of the pack, the last wolf, began approaching her, growling and gnashing his teeth. She couldn't do this. Not with a hurt shoulder and not with how big he was. But....another look back to Cathal and her mind was already made up. If she could take this wolf down maybe it let his darker half see that she wasn't some plaything that he allowed to live just because he was bored. Maybe....and her hope was high in blind faith with this one...maybe both sides could have feelings for her, as she did towards him. With newfound resolution she flew at the alpha.
Yakobi The beta let out a bored yawn, watching the red female lung herself towards the alpha. "She's going to get herself killed you know." he snickered, before glancing to the dead female next to his side. "Anyways, good job on that." That was one good thing about having another live within you. You'd never had no one to speak with.
Cathal's tail tapped gently against the ground. "Oh, ye of little faith." his better have grined, his muscles ready to spring up should Fuega require help from him. "She's stronger then you think you know." "And you're dumber then you look." "Oh, now that's not nice." 'What you going to do about it? Huh? Can't quite attack me now can you?!"
The male sat there arguing with himself, his yellow eye however remained fixed upon the female's fight. ChevalBunita
The alpha growled at Fuega once her small red body lunged at him. He, no doubt, was thinking this was going to be an easy fight. But, planner that she was, Fuega expected him to think that. As soon as her body his the air and his jaws opened up to bite she twisted her body and rolled sideways so that he missed snapped down around her by mere inches. She used this leverage to bite at his foreleg, hard and fast before rolling away once more. This time to the back of him.
The alpha was still wrapped up in his now injured leg, and that's what the gamma needed. What move she wanted to make. She knew his shock wasn't going to last long so she quickly bit another of his legs, this time the direct opposite of his front. The male yelped again and Fuega darted to the side, going for another of his legs. Moving out of the way quickly, before he even had a chance to recover.
At this point the female was starting to toy with him.
Yakobi Cathal laughed, watching the female bite at the alpha's legs. "You call me dense, oviously he doesn't have a clue how to fight." he spoke to his other half, in a strange friendly manner. Usually both halves of the male were tearing at each other's throats, so to speak.
"Idiot." came a mumble from his snout. "We could have taken her long ago, and yet this alpha is doing horrible." he pushed himself up onto his paws, taking a few steps forward, he wanted to get a bit closer to the fight.
"He's oviously to much of an old sod to do much good in a fight." both of Cathal's halves uttered at the same time. Another rather unusual thing to happen to the beta, but then again since he had met Fuega, odd things had been happening.

ChevalBunita Fuega continued biting, constantly wearing the Alpha down. Finally when she was done with her game she bit him hard in the flank, sinking her teeth in and makign sure she tored flesh off this time. Her agility was working in her favor and soon the male was starting to wheeze. He was beginning to loose so much blood already. The red one slipped out of the way once more and this time she went for his neck, though she miscalculated slightly. She was bit hard in her same hurt shoulder. As pain shot through her her body once more she dove for the finishing bite again, this time she struck gold. Latching on for dear life to the wolf's jugular she didn't let go, not even when the older animal stilled.
Yakobi "Fuega." came Cathal's suddenly calm voice. He looked to the female, blood scattered about her body...Which was somewhat attractive in a way. Well to the male anyways. "You can let go now." he smiled as warmly as he could, nudging her in the side gently. "Or do I need to pry you from his body?"
The darker half of the beta snickered. "Oh by all means, Cathal. Pry her from that cold lifeless body. It'll be fun to add to her pain."
He scoffed at his darker half, slowly sitting onto his haunches. "Don't be rude. She put on quite a show for us." he looked over the red female, the patches of blood upon her, drying and turning a deep red, that stood out somewhat from her normal pelt. It was then that he noticed the wound upon the female's shoulder.
"Bit of a scratch there, hun. Perhaps you'll get a scar. Then you might be on your way to being remotly touch. Though I still think you're weak."
He poked his snout forward, pressing it gently against her wounded shoulder, before softly licking off some of the blood. "You know, I'm not sure if it's bad enough to become an incredibly visible scar."
"Too bad." ChevalBunita
Fuega had never wanted this. Never wanted to turn into that which she hated, what she had loathed for so long. A monster that preyed on those weaker or that thrived off the blood and revenge. But, meeting Cathal had changed all that. When meeting the male beta she had merely meant to play jesus to the lepers in his head...and yet. Oh, what had she become! It was true that this wolf and the fallen females had truly gotten what they deserved, but what right did she have to take into her own hands. They had harmed her, hurt her when she was younger just like her parents had, but did that justify anything. Did her hurt outweigh a life? She had a feeling it really didn't suffice.
These thoughts plagued her, but the calm of Cathal's voice jutted into her troubled mind. She quickly dropped the body and padded backwards, her icy blue eyes still showing how lost she was. Did that mean she would lose herself like the beta? No, surely not. She barely registered what he was telling her until she felt his nose to her wound. Wouldn't scar.
"Oh...oh that's good," she managed, still quite a bit taken aback by what she had just done.
Yakobi Cathal tilted his head as he looked to Fuega. She seemed...Out of it. The fire had dwindled from her icy blue eyes, and the red female suddenly seemed so lost. Something was oviously going on in the female's mind, perhaps regret for what she had just done, but he couldn't quite place it. "You alright?" he questioned, concern lingering in his voice.
His snout wrinkled his darker half taking over for a brief moment. "It's ovious that she doesn't have the heart for this, Cathal." he snapped, gruntting as though he knew all. "We should just go. This female is nothing but a bother."
Had the beta been able to glare at his other half, he would have. Though because he couldn't all Cathal could do was stand there and listen to his other half speak. Once he had finished the male gently nuzzled Fuega. "First big kill since your parents I'm asuming." he uttered with a soft smile. "It'll take some time to get over it. Though you might want to wash off that blood. "
"Yeah you may begin to smell...Not that you already don't." ChevalBunita
Fuega finally lifted her head away from the body and into Cathal's eyes, nodding slightly at his question as she stared deeply within them. It was at times like these she wondered if she could see the dark within him this way. But, that was silly, his darker self was something that could never be seen but by his eyes only.
"Does it ever get easier?" she asked quietly, eyes still blank, as she ignored the darker side altogether. "The killing?"
Yakobi The male opened his mouth to speak, but found that nothing came. Slowly he closed his maw, unsure of what to say to the female. There were so many answers, yet he couldn't seem to find the words for any of them. It was as though the moment he thought of them the wordings would all flee from him, as most others did when they found out about his condition.
He looked into Fuega's eyes, blinking as he tried to muster up an answer. Still nothing came. "Easier..." he finally mustered up a word. His gaze turned downward, even his darker side had silenced for the moment.
"I suppose it does..." he smiled waryly, though it was quickly replaced with a frown.
"We've never quite found killing hard, hun. That's a question we can't really answer."

ChevalBunita "Right," she said nodding with a heavy sigh, "You enjoy this sort of thing...." she thought that one over, padding away from the scene without cause or reason, but she stopped in her tracks and looked back over to him. "You're right Cathal, I'm not like you. I've no heart for this...but...." she held a reflective eye and then looked back over to him, "I think I can learn."
Yakobi Cathal's head perked up as Fuega padded off not to far off, before stopping in her tracks and turning back to him. Learn. That word rang though his mind, as a puzzled look took over his features. Why would anyone in their right mind want to learn that? Perhaps the female wasn't in her right mind at the moment, she had just killed and well if she wasn't used it it that could be clouding her thoughts.
With a sigh he trotted over to her, loking her in the eye. "Now why whould you want to learn something like this?" he asked, his gaze unfaltering. "It's wont be fun, you know. Your mind might not be able to take something as enjoying it."
He snickered, "Not to mention most start to find it unbearable after a while. You don't have the heart, and you never will." ChevalBunita
"How do you know Cathal, hmmm?" she questioned both sides of the beta. "Going into this you thought that I wouldn't last but a few moments before you got to bask in my death and look?" he snout jerked down towards her blood upon red furred body. "I've slain two...one an alpha. Granted he was old, but I got the revenge I came here for. Even you've threatened to kill me countless times and have you done it yet?" she circled a bit and then padded up, stepping in front of his good eye so he could see her fully.
"Whatever you say, I'm in this....I'm not going to live up to your lowest expectations. Perhaps my heart is bigger then I imagined, perhaps not. But, I'm willing to try....doesn't that count for something?"
Yakobi The beta cracked a smile, before a laugh escapsed his troat. The laugh had been directed more to himself then to Fuega, though it was hard to tell. "Very true." he voiced, turning and padding off slowly. His head turned to the darkened sky, to the twinkling stars above. "I already hold high expections of you Fuega." he called out, pausing in his steps. "You've lived up to them so far."
Giving his head a shake he sat upon his haunches, tail curling around his hind leg. "You will always, however live up to the lowest expections to my other half. He has set them already and there is no way to change that." He shut his eyes, allowing himself to just feel the wind gently blowing against his body. He was in the mood for another fight, but he knew he wouldn't get another one so soon.
"I'd have killed you already, you know this. As soon as Cathal's mind weakens I'm taking control of this body. Then your blood will be mine." ChevalBunita
Fuega listened to his words, her own head raising and studying the shimmeriny moon above them. She felt the same tingly butterflies within her stomach as he spoke of how highly he thought of her. Once again she was glad that was a mutal feeling. However, she knew Cathal was right about his other half. He wouldn't never like her no matter what, which was sad considering Fuega had been trying to appease them both.
"Have you a name?" she asked suddenly, speaking to his darker half as she cocked her head to the side.
Yakobi Cathal blinked, turning his head to look at the red female. "Now what an odd question." he smirked. His tail thumping against the ground in a somewhat deceitful manner. "What makes you think I even have one? Cathal calls me by nothing." he let out a harsh chuckle at his comment. He would have gotten up and walked over to the female, had he control of at least their body's legs.
"Of course he calls me by nothing other then 'he' and other odd things simply because he believes I should have no name. Rather rude isn't he?" "You don't" the better half of Cathal spat. "See. No matter. Anyways hun, you may call me Dougal."

"I see," Fuega said, her own grin of deviance slipping to her maw. "You know how the saying goes, know thy enemy. Alright Dougal, here's the deal....you hate me, I loathe you. I tried to accept you as readily as I've accepted Cathal, but you will not have it. So.." she padded over still and walked right up to Cathal, looking up at him. "How about we make a truce?"
Yakobi "Whatever you learn about me will be minimal, I asure you. Only Cathal knows most about me, and I plan on keeping it that way." he scoffed, growling towards the female that had just walked up to him. "And no. No truce. I have no reason to make one with you."
Almost immediately Cathal rolled his eyes. "Just make the truce already." he uttered to his other half, it would indeed make things more comfortable with being around the female. Without having to listen to himself make threats to her.
"No way! There's oviously something wrong in this head of yours, Cathal!" his voice almost came out like a hiss, as he scowled at himself.
"Just do it, I really would prefer to not have to listen to you complain whenever she's around."
"No truce." ChevalBunita
Fuega sighed, "Fine no truce. I was only going to suggest we merely put up with each other's existing. I accept the fact that you're a blood thirsty killer that wants me dead and you accept the fact that I'm not and will not die so easily, but have it your way dougal. You didn't even have to do anything. But, no matter."
She looked up at the moon and then back down again, deciding getting the blood off her fur was no in order. With that thought she began to pad off.
Yakobi "Cathal is a blood thristy killer as well." he grunted, letting all that the female said just pass his tattered and torn ears. "He just doesn't show it as often as I do." He soon licked his chops, eyeing the female "But fine, if you don't want me around I'll turn in early for the night. Cathal can have control of this body for the remained of this day." he paused, thinking to himself. "If it makes you happy I'll even leave his thoughts alone. But just for the rest of this day. And if you happen to be around when I reawaken then there'll be hell to pay." his voice had been bitter the whole time he spoke, eyes leering.
Cathal blinked, his darker self actaully fading away inside him. At least for the moment. "Well you certainly upset him." he grined, suddenly notcing that the female had begun to pad off. Jumping up to his paws he trotted after her. ChevalBunita
Fuega chuckled softly at Dougal's outburst, though she really couldn't help making the darker half made. It made her and Cathal's relationship very love/hate and at times that factor frustrated her so. But, she supposed all in all it was okay. Better it be all hate/hate or death-death. Maybe one day the darker half would at least accept the fact that she was here to stay, or maybe tone down his many threats.
"Didn't mean to," she said casually. "I'll apologize for wounded his cold black heart when comes out again. But for now...perhaps we can enjoy the time with only us?" she added with a sly smirk as she continued on towards the river.

Yakobi Cathal chortled, "No need to apologize." He smiled, rather enjoying the fact that his darker half has taken leave for the night. Usually he took his leave for the night just a few minutes before Cathal chose to slept, but such things like what had just happened were indeed rare occurances. And as such he was enjoying the moment.
Following behind Fuega, he arched a brow as she spoke once more. "What exactly did you have in mind?" ChevalBunita
"Well first," she said coyly stopping slightly and giving him a gentle nuzzle before continuing back on. "I want to get this blood off of me, because as you're other half put it...I'm starting to smell." With those words she finally came open the river, though it was night so the water was chilled slightly she still padded forward.
Yakobi "The smell isn't that bad." he grined, as he continued following behind her. He gave his pelt a shake, if she was going to wash the blood from her fur he might as well do the same, though he contained less blood upon him then Fuega did.
"You do know that the water's going to be deathly cold right?" he spoke exaggerating how cold the water actually was. "You sure your fur is thick enough for you to be jumping in there?" ChevalBunita
Fuega chuckled slightly before she shook her head, "Oh don't worry Cathal. I'm sure I can manage...." With that the red one took off with lightening fast speed, her ears back and her tail straight, making sure to brace herself for the inevitable cold. As soon as the water hit her body she was filled with the frozen water, body shivering and muscles twitching. It only lasted a few moments however before she started to become intune to the wet.
Yakobi "Suit yourself." he laughed, watching the female race towards the water. Trudding along slowly he made his way over to the water's edge. "Cold enough?" he said, a large smirk plastered upon his face. His cream and sky blue tiped tail swaying gently behind him, rather pleased.
"You know I was thinking of joining you in there, but I'm not to sure now." the tone of his voice made it obvious that he was joking around. "You do seem rather cold," he paused for a moment, the grin growing wider, "and wet."

Fuega/Cathal - Happy family?ChevalBunita
Though it had been over a few moons ago Fuega still remembered the time she and Cathal had spent by the water's edge, after the slaughter. The slaughter she had created. From death comes life, and the fallen wolves brought forth the love that created new beings within her. She grimaced slightly as she shifted her weight, still not yet used to have massive her belly had become. She could feel them inside of her. The puppies, their offspring. She wondered what they would look like, whose markings and coloring they would have. More importantly, she wondered if they would inherit more then just looks from their father.
Her features covered in worry as she looked down at herself, looking at the mound wherein her babies lay. So still yet moving all the same. Tiny inklings of fear swept over the gamma as she wondered if they too, would become heartless killers like thier father or a killer with a heart like thier mother.
Yakobi Cathal sat staring at a wriggling earth worm that seemed to have lost its way. Behind him his tail flopping back and forth as he blinked dully. A lot had been on his mind as of late and he had been hoping that staring at something, anything, even the lost earth worm would distract his train of thought. Even for a moment. Though it seemed, the more he stared, the more he thought.
Fuega had gotten fat. And it wasn't simply because she was eating too much. He would have prefered it had been because of something like that, something with results that wouldn't be so life changing. Something that could easily be ridded of. 'Honestly Cathal, how could this have happened?! Remind me never to leave you alone with that female again!' a dark voice echoed though his head.
The beta simply grunted, lifting a paw and forcing it down upon the wriggling worm, who still hadn't seemed to find it's way back into the ground. He winced and looked upon the bottom of his pad, little bits of the worm sticking to it. A disgusted look soon passed on his features as he shook his paw, ridding himself of the worm bits. "You've told me that countless times, you know."
With a sigh, he pushed himself up off his haunches and padded back slowly to where Fuega lay. ChevalBunita
The red one lay silent as Cathal padded over to her, her icy eyes glassy and in need of rest. As loving and tender as she was with this whole pregnancy she also found it weary and strange. Had it not been that long ago when the gamma was roaming through the forests, living each day like it would be her last when the sun set? Had she not believe truly and through and through that she would die alone? But now...oh now she had so much more. Sure, Cathal would not normally be someone she would have chosen to bare offspring with, but lo and behold he was the wolf she had chosen. Even with the dark in him, even with Dougal constantly berating and wanting to take her life, there was still something about the beta to be admired.
She flinched slightly as she felt her puppies moving around inside her. Her left hind leg began to shake involuntarily and she suddenly raised her head off of her paws, her eyes beginning to twinkle and constrict some.
"Cathal...." was all she managed.
Yakobi The male smiled best he could as he padded over to Fuega, sitting down next to her. 'You should have run the moment you found out she was going to have pups.' his other half hissed at him from his mind. 'What's the difference between this female and your last mate? We don't even like pups, Cathal. Bad memories, yesssss?' The beta winced as he listened to Dougal let out an everlong streached out cackle. 'You killed your last mate because she was going to have pups? Didn't you? I've never quite been able to figure it out. 'Course my memory from that far back isn't so good. Though I'm pretty sure that was the reason.' The voice paused for a moment before continuing. 'And to think. I had no infuence on you then at all.'
Cathal grunted, opening his mouth in preparing to portest as to the reason why his former mate had died, when he noticed Fuega's hind leg shaking. He blinked and looked to her as she mustered up his name. "Fuega...You alright?" he uttered entirly concerned for the red female.
'Bloody hell....' ChevalBunita
Fuega was so wrapped up in her own birthing that she failed to notice that Cathal was internally debating with himself again. By this time she had been quite good at figuring out when he was and when his mind was at peace, though on the latter it was a rare occurance indeed. As the male asked if she was okay she merely managed one short head nod before her features contorted into a grimace.
"It's time..." she grunted as she rolled further onto her side, manuevering herself in such a way that the puppies could break free without a hitch.
Yakobi All the male managed to do was stare. Time? Now! Of all times, he wasn't ready to be a father to however many pups had grown inside the female. Not to mention he didn't know what to do. Wasn't he suposed to not be around for when Fuega gave birth to their pups. He certainly didn't remember his father around once he was old enough to see and hear. It wasn't until a while after that, that he had met his father as his mother had kept him and his siblings away. It was all just very confusing.
"W-what?!" he blurted out, not meaning to, his paws fidgiting around as nervous as could be. "I-isn't it..too soon..." his voice came out a more of a squeek then anything else, not one of Cathal's appeling voices. "And...and..." he paused, an nervous look plastering itself upon his face. First he didn't know what to do and now he didn't know what to say! Could this get any worse?
'Wasn't it kind of ovious the moment she said your name that the vile creatures were ready to pop out?' Dougal's voice floated though Cathal's mind, sounding rather calm and blunt. He grined inside as the male almost choked out a no, but held back. 'You do know there's still time to run and never look back. Just one mistake in our life.'

"Yes, time!" Fuega said squeezing her eyes shut as tremors began to take hold of her body. "I can't really help it now......." at that her words trailed off as a howl escaped her maw, head raised straight to the sky. The babies were coming and there was no stopping it. She howled louder then before as the first one emerged, just a browned head peaking through, but most decidedly a female.
Yakobi "But....but...but...!" the beta stammered, lifting a forepaw and placing it upon his snout so that all his yellow eye would glimpse was his own fur. He really wasn't looking forward to this. Very far from it. He had hidden the fact that he detested pups from the female and well now he was going to have kids around. He hoped he'd either get attached to the pups or at least be able to hide his dislike very well.
Inside Cathal's mind was spinning, thoughts of all kinds raced though his head. If he really wanted to run off he'd have to do it now, during the pup's birth when Fuega wouldn't really be able to stop him. Yet the male couldn't bring himself to leave the female with the responsibility of caring for the pups on her own. It was times like this he somewhat envied his darker half's train of thought.
"Tell me when it's over..." ChevalBunita
At his words Fuega had no time to make a come back or scold the male for leaving her in distress, for as soon as she opened her snout nothing but more howling escaped. She grimaced again, her chest and sides heaving up and down with heavy ladden breaths. Finally a red puppy made her way out, followed closely by a blue. But, Fuega could still feel another....oh dear. She half closed her eyes and howled more as the last came out, black as night and eyes like death.
Yakobi Cathal lifted his paw from his snout the moment he heard Fuega's howling cesse. "Is it over?" he questioned, not allowing his eyes to move to the four pups that had just popped out from the female.
'Look at the vermin already. I'd like to see the litte beasts.' the darker self bellowed in his mind, causing the male to cringe. 'How bad could it be, you got yourself into this. You might as well.'

Ary Keeyara The small blue pup could feel her heart race as she was exposed to the open air outside of her mother's body. She was instantly cold, her young mind fixing upon that horrible sensation along with another-a strange gnawing in her belly. She didn't understand what any of it meant, but she didn't like it. So she did the only thing a newborn pup could do-opened her maws slightly and whined and mewled helplessly. ChevalBunita
"It's over.....god...it's....over," the red one said lifting her head slightly as she felt the last puppy escape her body. She half closed her eyes once again and finally rolled onto her side, grunting and grumbling as she tried to get to her paws with some difficulty. Finally Fuega was up off the ground, and she lifted her head back up, letting a long and loud howl out of jubilie before she looked down at her pups.
Life. So this was it. Interesting. Backus slowly opened his mismatched eyes and stared up, blinking into the sunlight. He wasn't sure what he should be filling, but whatever it was, it was a dull bored sensation. As if this place was just as vile and filthy as the last place he had been.
Lesotho The small female, second born and red and tan in coloration, laid on the cold, hard ground. This was not where she wanted to be! It was cold and she was exposed! She lay there, slick from the birth canal, and for a moment was stiff with shock. Once that wore off, she instantly knew she was away from her mother, and gave out small mewling noises, struggling to her plump, short legs and testing her joints, her blind eyes turned toward where she knew her mother must be. But... she was standing... and she was HUNGRY! She mewled up at her mother, small floppy ears turned and head cocked in confusion. What was this scary new world, and where was her mother's warm tongue to clean her fur? She was going to freeze! Yakobi Slowly Cathal turned his gaze looking to the four wriggling pups. "I...uhhhh..." he muttered, swallowing as he just stared at them, still unsure of what to say. There was four. FOUR! Not one or two, four! Couldn't there have been less? "Four.." he uttered almost chocking upon his own words.
'Lots of little girls I see.' Dougal chuckled, as he spread many terrible thoughts though the beta's mind.
His ears flicked forward as the three female's began to cry out. What a...Annoying sound.
His gaze soon fell upon the lone black male. He stood out like a sore thumb, his colours far different from the rest of the pups. "That one..." he uttered pointing to him with his snout. He looked so much like what he had seen of Dougal. When he was younger and the darker half of him first emerged...When his mind had been filled with delusions. "I don't like him..." he contiued, quit bluntly. Ary Keeyara The second eldest heard her complaints joined by her sisters voice. She shuttered and wriggled her upperbody slightly, continuing to cry out. Somehow she knew that if she cried she would get the attention she wanted...it would make the funny feeling in her skin and stomach go away! Her small form didn't manage to really get anywhere, despite her small, weak attempts at wriggling slightly. She just wished for the aid of her mother!

"What?" Fuega asked, raising her icy blue eyes open in surprise after she took a head count and basked in her litter. "You can't not like one Cathal, they are all ours." She looked over to the puppy in question and knew instantly why this is so. "Yours and mine....not....not Dougal's." As she spoke the words she walked over to her pups and gave them a few lickings each before she lay back down, ready to nourish them all.
What was this disgusting creature trying to do to him? Backus yipped loudly as his mother cleaned him and yipped even louder at the way his father was staring at him. As if....as if he was some kind of trash or wayward filth.
Lesotho Awwwww, warm and dry! She yipped happily as her mother's tongue caressed her small, now soft and furry body. Her mother had taken the excess moisture from her body, and now she was ready to be rid of the tickling in her stomach. As her sight became clear, she watched her mother lay down and scuttled over as plump puppies often do, quickly attaching herself and suckling for a meal. Yay, momma love. Yakobi Cathal mearly grunted, his tail swaying dully. "I still don't like him." his torn ears flicked back, as he looked to the other three pups. They looked normal...Well normal in a sense. That was when another thought poped into his mind. What if some of the pups picked up his mental...condition? Then what would he do? And what would he say exactly to the pups if they found out about his, which was very likly. "I know they aren't his, but that pup doesn't help the thought much."
'What's the matter, Cathal?' his dark voice snickered. 'His pelt is just mainly black. So mine is mainly black as well, he's rather fetching I think.' it rather amused the other half of the beta that the owner of their body had such detest for a pup, just because he happened to look like one he hated.Morrigan lifted her head, letting out almost silent squeeks as her mother licked her clean. She felt warmth suround her body, though she couldn't bring herself to open her eyes. Not yet. Slowly she began suckling, unsure why, but her body was leading her to do so. ChevalBunita
Fuega let out a sigh, looking down at her offspring as they fed. "Well..." she said, not really sure what she should be saying to the male. She knew that it would be hard for him, having puppies together. She even knew that it was hard for him having her around, all because of that constant nagging voice inside his head, his other persona. Though she had accepted Dougal by now, it still didn't help. "Maybe in time you'll learn to like him?"
Backus half closed his eyes as he drank deeply, his mother's milk filling the fire in his belly. mmmm. It was good. He could even stand the fact that he was suckling from a vile thing, she bore him yes, but that didn't change the fact that he loathed her. He loathed them all. And especially...the other male. He could feel his father's eyes upon him so he pulled away. He looked up and over, right into the beta's mismatched eyes. He let a sickeningly sweet smile cross his features and merely stared.

Ary Keeyara Her whines and squeals died away as the warm sensation of her mother's tongue came to her. It felt just...right somehow. So that had been what she had been wanting! When it stopped she started whining again slightly, until she bumped into the warmth of her mother's stomach. Oh, so there was more of that here too! For some reason she had a desire to bring her mouth upon the belly until she found something and...ah! Sucking in with her mouth she was able to get a sweet liquid. She felt content then, and simply suckled away. Lesotho Once she had had her fill, she scooted back and sat on tiny haunches, small whisp of a tail out behind her. She cocked her head to the side, watching the other tiny bodies as they drank. A small yawn parted her jaws and she considered a nap by her mother's warm fur, but she quickly pushed it from her mind. She studied her sisters and brother closely, a shiver running up her spine. Something was wrong with him. She could sense it. Yakobi The beta arched as brow as his bold little son smiled up at him. It was a disgusting type of smile, or so the male percieved it. "No..." he spoke dryly, turning his gaze towards Fuega. "I don't think I will." As long as his son had a pelt design the way he did, the beta would always find it disturbing, even if he turned out to be a wonderful wolf. Though from the looks of the smile he was getting from the pup, that wasn't going to happen.
"Maybe I should eat him.." he thought out loud, though he hadn't ment to. There was just something about that black pup that didn't seem to right. It was almost as if he were another version of Dougal, a small weak looking version. As the newborn brown pup finished suckling, her belly now filled, she moved back. Curling her tiny body into a little ball. She let out a sqeek like yawn, before a shiver ran down her spine. Letting a whine escape her maw, she pulled herself back over to her mother, pushing herself into the female's red fur. ChevalBunita
"WHAT?!" Fuega suddenly shouted, jerking her body and quickly calming, almost taking out the three females as she jerked. She had almost forgotten she was in the feeding process. She shooked her head and let out a warning growl. "You are NOT eating our son. Cathal..." she started in more gentle terms. "I know he looks like Dougal, but he's NOT....he's...he's our special son. Perhaps we should name them all now?" she added musingly.
His smile continued and when his father made the comment, his grin only widened. It was as if he was calling his father's bluff. His mismatched eyes never tore away until his mother voiced his protests. At her he let a less insane smile cover his maw only to rouse the male more. Oh, this was fun.
Ary Keeyara The little blue bundle of fur seemed to drown out all the noise of voices around her. When her mother jerked, however, she had to notice. She almost slipped away at the sudden movement. She felt her little heart race and she wasn't sure why, but she hadn't liked that! She whined and wriggled close again, suckling at her mother's milk again. And she had almost been asleep too! Yakobi "Sorry." he coughed, turning his gaze from the female to off in the distance. "Never ment to say that." though he knew that she'd know that even if he didn't mean to say it, he ment it. "He's not special..." his lip curled as he looked once more at the newborn black pup. That contant smile of his was getting on his nerves.
A sudden laugh echoed inside the male's head, Dougal's voice soon following. 'Honestly Cathal, I told you that you should have ran, left the female with the pups. Maybe she would have been forced to eat them sooner or later. Then if you deperatly wanted to you could have returned to this temptrist, you've fallen for.'
"I suppose we could name them now..."The brown pup's eyes suddenly shot open as her mother's body jerked away. She let out a surprised yelp, her eyes slowly adjusting to the light and colours of the world. Her chubby little paws soon pressed against the ground, as she tried to lift herself up to walk. However it seemed she was not ready for that. Blinking, her eyes half closed as she listened to the larger wolves speak, using words she couldn't understand, not that she could understand much. Oh the tradagies of just being born.

"Honestly Cathal," Fuega said, dismissing their conversation. Though his words only made her press against her puppies more. She looked over at the male and smiled back. No, there couldn't be anything wrong with him. She knew it. Dougal was in Cathal's mind, there was no way any of him would be present in her offspring. Though she couldn't help but wonder...
"Hmmm," she mused, "Cathal, would you like me to pick the name's or are you going to help?"
Backus brightened as his mother scolded his father. He wasn't going to choose a side. Not really. She just liked the....how do you call it. Ah yes, he liked the discord sown amongst them. It was interesting to say the least. He opened his mouth to yap once more, just give his vocals another try, but he stopped suddenly. His chest seized with pain and his yellow and red eye widened slightly. His yap turned into a gasp of air and he looked up at both parents, for the smallest second there was a frality in his eyes from a malignancy deep within him.
Yakobi Pushing himself up to his feet, he moved closer to Fuega and the puppies. His yellow eye looking over them more fully, not that he was closer. "I supose I could help name them." he spoke lowering his nose to poke at the small pups, save for the little male.
'It's only been a few minutes and you're already a horrible father.' Dougal's voice rang out, causing the male to growl. 'What say I keep the little guy and you focus on being a father to the females, seeing as you don't seem to be planing on running off on little miss temptrist here.'
A brow arched as he looked to his son, something seemed to be going wrong with the pup, though he didn't know what. And he didn't quite care. "Look he's defective."Morrigan's head perked up as her parent's spoke of names. She wondered what they were saying, her little mind wishing that she could understand them. Opening her maw she let out a tiny whine, lifting her chocolate paw and pawing at the back her mother's leg. ChevalBunita
"No....no, he's not," Fuega hushed, nuzzling some of the other females a bit before turning her attention on the lone male. "Hmmmm..." she cocked her head to the side, studying him a moment as he wheezed and gasped. "Oh..." she managed, "His....Cathal...it's his heart!" She watched carefully as the male caught his breath and finally calmed, sending off the same glare. "Backus..." she said finally. "I will call him that."
As a new name was given to him he lifted his head up. He could barely register what was said, his chest was hurting so bad. But, now that pain was gone and he could focus on the filth around him. He sat up slightly and growled at the sister nearest him before opening his mouth up wider. His vocals tremored slightly and the young pup voiced his first word. "Dea...thf," he spat out.
Yakobi Cathal had to stop himself from forming a grin upon his maw, as Fuega mentioned that the pup was having heart troubles. He couldn't help the hate he felt towards his new son, but there was something that just wasn't right with it.
It was then that he witnessed the pup voicing his first words...Which sounded quite similar to the word death. "Fuega...Something's wrong with him, and I don't mean his heart." his voice seemed cold and bitter, as he just stared at the black pup. "Are you sure we can't get rid of him?"
'Go ahead and do that, Cathal. Try and rid yourself of your only son. What are you afraid of?'Morrigan's steal eyes glanced at her bother, a little growl had emmited from his throat. She hadn't been doing anything to hurt him. What was he mad at her for? A frown forming upon her maw, as she looked to her brother. As quickly as she could, which in the end wasn't very quick at all, she made her way away from her brother, placing herself inbetween her two parents.

Fuega concentrated. "Did you just say death?" she asked Backus, her brow furrowed slightly. Not getting an answer from the pup she turned her head to Cathal and shook it once. "I can't kill him...maybe he's....he's just a puppy! He doesn't even know what he's saying." As the brown female neared them Fuega smiled down at her and changed the subject. "What should we call this one?"
Backus smiled again, that same cold smile that only made his fur seem darker and his eyes more wild like. He wanted his space. So when his sister moved away from him he was quite content with it all.
Yakobi "Had I been so deranged when my father saw me I would have been killed on the spot." he leered, more to the pup then to the female. "Pup or not, Fuega...Something's just not right with him." he paused thinking of what else he could say to her, he just didn't feel right keeping the pup, though protest much if Fuega demanded constantly, that they keep him. Then he wouldn't quite have a choice, she did after all give birth to the creature. "We could just leave him out in the woods. We don't really have to kill him."
He looked to the black male that had recently been dubed Backus. The little thing seemed to have grown another cold smile, just giving Cathal more reason to distrust the newborn pup.
He looked down towards the little brown girl as Fuega asked him what they should name her. He tilted to the side thinking for just a moment, before pointing to her with his paw and uttering, "Morrigan."Morrigan perked up, looking to her father as he had utered another word. He had pointed to her and uttered it, so perhaps she was that? Perhaps she was a Morrigan. Wagging her short tail best she could, she yipped happily. ChevalBunita
"That would still be killing him," she said quickly before she turned her attention back to her brown daughter. "Beautiful," she mused, smiling even wider at the offspring. "And the others?"
Backus grunted a bit, deciding that he no longer had any interest in this. He raised his hind leg and began to scratch behind his ear a bit before he looked over to his father once more. He opened his mouth once again, deciding to take another shot at this whole 'speaking' thing. "Not him.." he managed to get out, nodding once the words were spoken. Yes, he belived that sounded about right.
Lesotho The red female glanced up at her mother, then to her father with big, eager eyes. Something exciting was going on, and she knew it. She just wasn't sure what it was. She wanted in on it, though. She also wanted to get rid of this black pup which seemed to be making quite a lot of trouble. She rose to her thick pup legs and trode over to him, taking his ear in her tiny, almost non-existant teeth and tugging, growling. Yakobi "Well you wouldn't see him die." he grunted, turning his head to look to his other two daughters. "And if he's lucky he'd get taken in by some other wolf." A yellow orb looked over the blue female pup, "That one can be Ileana." he gave a nod, before his attention turned to the black pup, who now had his older red sister tugging at his ear.
'Kid's smart. He may have your genes mixed with that female's, but it's ovious he takes after me. I'm so proud.'
Cathal's head pulled back, as he let a growl escape his maw, obviously directed towards his son. ChevalBunita
"Cathal....no," Fuega said with another sigh as she turned towards her mate. "We are not leaving him, we are not killing him....we are going to raise him to be big and strong and a fine young wolf. Nothing more." She looked back at the pups once more and then instantly went into 'mother mode'. "That's enough you too!"
Backus growled instantly as his sister took hold of his ear. He let out a sharp cry and tried to n** at her a few times before their mother raised her voice at them. He let his one red eye and one yellow glare at the red sister and snarled in a low voice that only she could hear. "Do it again and die..." Ah so he was getting the hang of this talking thing afterall. Good. Threats could no be made.
Lesotho When her mother rose her voice, the red female's ears flicked back as her teeth let go of the small, fleshy triangle that belonged to her brother. She returned his glare with her own steely gaze. His threat landed lightly upon her ears, and she sneered, firing back at him. "We'll see about that." Her tiny hackles raised in defense. Yes, it was her brother, but she would not have to love him. Yakobi Cathal scowled, raising such a pup was going to be difficult, he knew it though he wasn't sure if Fuega had figured it out. "You're being a tad to motherly Fuega." his gaze soon turned towards the distance. He'd have to find a way to keep his eye on his son. One's first words should not have been death. And he certainly wasn't going to trust him around his sister when they grew up.
The three females were normal enough in tempermant and he hoped it would stay that way...Hopefully. "And if he doesn't turn out that way?" he questioned, not prying his gaze from the distance, and wrapping his tail around his leg.
A sharp pain soon ran though the back of his neck, an old wound of his acting up again. The beta sighed, he knew pain would be running on and off as long as he staied stressed on the current matter.

Fuega/Lunar - We choose our own pathsChevalBunita Fuega sighed softly to herself as she padded down through the woods, her tail swishing back and forth behind her. It was a good day. The sun was bright and shimmered in the sky as the rays cut through the hanging tree branches and shed light on her fur, warming the red and bronze pelt to almost fire porportions. Yes, it was a good day indeed. A day without her mate or her four pups. Not that she was complaining mind you, but she knew, as they all did, that she was the one who carried the family.
She was the one who had her wits still about her. Though she tried to deny it again and again and again every now and then she had to admit that she was the only sane one. Cathal she knew was crazy, but her pups...oh heavens above why did they have to inherit his strangeness.
Untamed Bewilderment *Laying upon a rock Lunar sunbathed herself in the shimmering light lazily. It had been a boring day so far. Lights shot through the holes in between the leaves as she sat watching one speck of light fade and then get bright a leaf moved in front of the light then away. This was one of those days she had often.
Now with a pack, it was nothing big. She still did not have any mate but was there as a kind of babysitter. It was a place for her to have a home. When the pups were with their father she had nothing to do. So she had to find things to do.* ChevalBunita
The red one continued on, her icy eyes ticking back and forth in front of her. With all the gamma had been through she had enough sense to know that thing weren't always what they had seemed. So it was no surprise that Fuega was ever watchful of her surroundings. She stilled all at once before a playful smile slipped onto her maw. Maybe it was Cathal rubbing off on her, or the constant struggle with bringing up such strange children, but the smile was rather twisted. Not that there was any hidden meaning behind it. It was, afterall, merely a smile.
"Hello there...." she called out, her nostrils picking up a familar scent. "Don't tell me..." she added in happy tones, eager to spend time with someone other then her family. "Lunar....?" Instantly she began to look around for the wolf to see if she was right.
Untamed Bewilderment *Hearing the steps of a creature, Lunar's right ear perked up moving left to right for the spot of the sound. Smelling a familiar scent and then hearing that voice. She could not forget what her instincts told her. Driving through her like the wind through a narrow hole. Pushing with such a force that her whole body rang. It was that feeling of a friend. She stood silently and slyly on her rock and took a sniff in the air. Looking about she spotted the redness of Fuega's back.
Leaping toward her Lunar let out a bark of joy.*
"Hello there Fuega!" ChevalBunita "Hello!" Fuega barked back, rearing herself upwards to meet Lunar, two animals and friends truly meeting by chance. "Long time no see!" she exclaimed happily, noticing the other wolf looked different somehow. Almost like a glow about her. Curious and curious.
"How have you been...what have you been up to?" she rambled, her snout moving on its own as her mind raced to catch up. It was safe to say she was excited at this prospect.
Untamed Bewilderment *Landing in front of Fuega and nudging her head into the exposed stomach of her, Lunar smiled*
"I'm doing very well Fuega, what of yourself? It truly must of been fate that brought us together."
* By now she was jumping around and nipping at her friend from days, weeks, even months ago. All the time apart was gone now. The reunion of friends was a magical thing.*
".....Well.....I have a home and family now....well its not really my family.....but......I help raise them."

ChevalBunita Fuega did her own style of dancing around her friend, nipping when Lunar's maw was away and nuzzling and pawing at all the oppurtune moments. It was so nice to see her again! To see anyone she had the ability to label as a friend. At the first question the red one merely nodded her head as she continued the dance and pounce of friendshipness and at the next set of words uttered from Lunar's snout the red one instantly perked. Ah so that was the strange glow. Any female who reared pups, or was around them would have it. It was something internal and deep down within.
"Oh really," she asked not bothering to cover her interest. "I have a mate myself now, and four pups...."
Untamed Bewilderment *Lunar no longer envied the fact of someone having a mate. She realized things do come true. She had a home.....she one day would have a mate. So with the mention of the puppies and mate she only gave a "Yipe" of excitement.*
"Really? You must tell me their names? What do they look like? How do they act? What is it like giving them life? How do you feel?"
*A barrage of questions flew toward Fuega. This was something Lunar had never been able to ask anyone. But she was a companion to someone who knew it first hand.....She felt it was alright to ask...safe to speak of....almost a necessity.* ChevalBunita Fuega couldnt' help but smile as she was assualted with so many questions, in a way she felt kinda proud. She had always been kinda a loner and now she had truly what she had always wanted. A family! Not only that in the world of females, motherhood did issue certain bragging rights. So with each questions she tried to answer as honest as possible, her friend at least deserved that much.
"Backus, my son he's all black with some blue and tan, the girls Cayenne, red like me but with other colors, Ileana a blue sweetie, and Morgan who looks like her father, Cathal, tans, bits of red and blue." The next question was harder to answer, "Well, they're.....they're great kids, respectful, they just have their moments....take a lot after their father. And goodness, it was amazing to give them life! It was like breathing air for the very first time. Bit sore afterwards though..."
Untamed Bewilderment *Lunar smiled delighted. She did not know why or how this was making her feel this way. But it was if ....as if she was turning to her mother. She was happy, glowing with joy, and above all peaceful. She could not help but n** at Fuega some more with glee.*
"Wow, they sound amazing." ChevalBunita Fuega nodded, her wolfish face twisted into a clear happy beam, "They are. They can be quite strange at times," she admitted, "They're father is not always together mentally, but well they're good pups. Everything a mother would hope for. They're going to grow up to be great great wolves." She settled slightly, still grinning and carefree, "And of your raisings, what of them?"
Untamed Bewilderment "Well, they are....interested. They love to listen to stories of everywhere I have been. They like to jump and play around. (Cant describe them. Its been ages since I have seen their picture)."
*She sat slowly and smiled. Joy over her face thinking about the game of chase they played the other day. It made her warm inside.* ChevalBunita
"Yes, yes," Fuega muttered, enjoying hearing another talk about the young ones. Of course as she spoke the red wolf realized that she hadn't really played much with her puppies, in fact she didn't think she had ever done such a think. It wasn't because she didn't want to. It was the mere fact that her offspring was so strange. Each of them wanted to go off on their own. Cayenne would content herself with picking on her brother Backus, whom Fuega had trouble admitting to herself might be slightly evil, and then Morgan was somewhat normal though the mother feared she might be hearing voices or the like, and Ileana didn't want to hang around puppies her own age, but instead contented herself with being amongst smaller creatures like snakes and squirrels.
The gamma looked back up at her friend, frowning slightly though hoping it wouldn't show. It was as if it then struck her how odd her pups were.

Untamed Bewilderment *Looked looked toward the red wolf and nudged her slightly. Sensing something was wrong....she could not tell. She did not want to pry but she did not want her friend saddened. Not a time like this....*
"They are great... But so different from me. When I was a pup.....things were different.......I suppose its the fact of seeing another happy....knowing you make them that way makes you happy as well."
*Looking back toward her, Lunar decided to speak up*
"Is everything alright?" ChevalBunita Fuega smiled again, this time it was more forced less real. She had never been one to share her true feelings not because she was dihonest but because she never wished to bring anyone down with her affairs. But, this was a friend and she had no reason to think the wolf truly was saying concern just to be polite.
"My pups," she said finally, "Well you see my mate has a sort of..." she wasn't sure what to call the nature of the thing so she let a light shrug grace her shoulders. "He's less then nice at times, he has another part of him...a darker part....and well.......I think something might be wrong with my offspring because of that...."
Untamed Bewilderment *Not completely understanding what she meant by this Lunar thought for a moment.*
"You think .... something inside of your mate was passed to the pups? Why say such a thing? Surely these dark things he does is not something that can be passed. You make choices as you grow up. You develop yourself as you grow up. You have the full power to change yourself. Things are not decided in advanced....predestined, if you want to name it."
*She looked directly into Fuega's eyes*
"They are just as much you, as they are him. Do not fret of what might happen with your pups. Think of what they mean to you. How they are in your eyes. How are they in your eyes?" ChevalBunita "Yes, but...." Fuega trailed off for a few moments. What Lunar was saying made so much sense! She had to believe it, if not for her sake then for her pup's sake. She had to believe they would grow up and do great things, things that did not require lives for lives or blood spilt on innocent grounds. "They are wonderful," she breathed out, "The girls will make....but my son," she lowered head slightly as with her voice as if all the woods were listening. Her icy eyes shone brightly, full of concern and tiny inklings of fear. "He's been torturing things.."
Untamed Bewilderment *Lunar sighs slightly*
"You and I both know the things females do while they grow up. It is easier to assure and help you with them. But I am no male, I cannot help explain for him. The only thing i know is....spend time with them. Show them the gentler side of life. Make sure they see both sides of life. Not just one. Because if they see just one...they will stick to it like a bug in sap." ChevalBunita Fuega nodded, for all her years on her she felt like a helpless puppy in need of answers. She let Lunar have her say and then she nodded once again. "Thank you! Thank you....it makes sense, what you say...I'll give it a try. What could trying hurt?" She had a feeling it would help more then she would ever know.
