Name: Fuega [Fue-ga]
Origin: Spanish meaning 'fire'
Gender: Female
Age: Gamma

Likes: Fresh meat, exploring, keeping to herself.
Dislikes: other wolves, rainy days, letting her fear get the best of her.

History: It is unknown when Fuega was born, the whole birthing process seemed to be a complete and utter mystery. Her mother and father were low creatures in the ranking of wolves and her brother and two sisters died before they even had a chance to open up their eyes. Naturally you would think this would give Fuega some kind of presedence in her parent's eyes, but it didn't. They wanted an offspring full of hardy boys, but yet they got the lone female. They cast her off like a sore to the side and Fuega spent most of her youth merely existing. When she was old enough she did something drastic, she killed her parents while they were sleeping. The pack had speculations of this, but couldn't prove anything. So they booted the red one out. Once she left her pack to roam the woods on her own it was no better. She does not live, she simply exists day by day, hour by hour.

Her need of food and shelter are now the only things that keep the red wolf going. Everything else is something that just is. An attainable thing that she dismisses as quickly as drewdrops leave petals.

Personality: Easily angered Fuega is like a spitfire full of pent up energy. It doesn't take very much to light her fuse and she, by nature, is very mistrusting of all of those around her. She would be very content with her own solitude and wonderings, though deep down inside what Fuega really wants is simply a pack to call her own.

Cathal - A very complex wolf that may be clinically insane. Fuega is torn between fleeing from him and trying to befriend him. Somewhere deep down inside she thinks that maybe she can help, or at least draw out the good in him.
Fayina Tao - A very pretty lightly colored female wolf that few words were spoken too. Fuega isn't sure how she feels about this one yet.
Lumbre - Uh Oh! This was a love at first sight thing at least that's what Fuega keeps telling herself. She cheated on Cathal with him and is her dirty little secret.
Lunar - A wolf about the same age as Fuega that seems wise beyond her years. Their meeting was both insightful and Fuega learned to just 'let loose'.

Lumbre: Love at first sight? Hmmph, it was more like 'lust' at first sight. Though the red one is still beginning to scratch the surface in how she feels about him.

Curent Mate: Cathal
First Liter: April 27, 2006
Liter size: Four pups
Thoughts - - -
Cathal: As much as Fuega loves him she will never understand him. Plus there's the whole thing with his alter, Dougal, who wants to kill her. Yeah, she's not exactly happy about that one.
Morrigan: Fuega's first born. Shy and a tad quiet, but Fuega has a strange feeling that she may be hearing more then other wolves.
Cayenne: A bit of a spit fire, this one's a lot like her mother in that regards. She is also a little plotter. And Fuega can sense she has a deep loathing for her brother.
ILeana: Such a sweet little puppy, probably the only normal one out of the bunch.
Backus: Fuega loves her only son even if Cathal doesn't. She refuses to see the bad in him though she secretly knows he's a bit sadistic.

Fuega/Fayina Tao - In these woods

ChevalBunita

Her ears twitched back ever so slightly as the red wolf began to pad softly across the forest floor. The soft breeze felt cool and cleansing against her weary bones and she wanted nothing more then the world to feel this peaceful for all eternity. Only...it would never be. Fuega knew that much. In all her ears her peace did not last longer then a day's full ending. Why should it start now? Surely she was meant to be alone and meant to roam as an ever searching spirit. Simply gliding from one length of the forest's edge to the next without ever having a place she call home. Not a real pack to call her own.

She stopped walking however when her ears picked up on some foreign noise. All at once the birdsong over head stopped and her ears twitched again. When the birds stopped their singing it was never a good sign. The Gamma raised her head slightly and then dragged it to the side in one slow motion, her icy blue eyes trying to pinpoint the source of what rattled the birds. She wondered if it were friend or foe? And more importantly she wondered if it was a threat to her being.

Lethrossen
Fayina Tao was a threat to no wolf's being, not now, not in the past and not ever. She was either too simple minded, or perhaps too complex minded. The peach/wine-colored female slipped through the foilage in a stiff manner, not bothering to look around. There was nothing to harm her, or perhaps way too many so she should not be worried about spotting a few.

She gave a light snort, ears flicking as she came into view of the other female. Her eyes drank in the two colors of the pelt, getting slightly dizzy as she traced the patterns.

ChevalBunita

Fuega stiffened at seeing the other female, unsure of what to do or say. She had never come in contact with another wolf before, outside those that would drive her away so naturally the low Gamma was at odds with herself. Letting out her tongue and letting it run over her snout for a minute she finally stulked over a few paces.

"Hello," she said, her voice low an raspy from years of never being used.

Lethrossen
Fayina eyed this other again, cautious at first but then letting her mannor become more friendly. "Hey there." She stated, her eyes flicking to meet this others.

"Do you wander these woods often?" her head tilted slightly to the side, in a questiong manner. She didn't frequent these woods, not often, but she knew a few who did.

ChevalBunita

Fuega stared at her for the longest time, her icy blue eyes never breaking their connection. Finally nodded her head lowly, taking it that this other wolf was no real threat. "Yes," she simply, "and you?"

Fuega/Lunar - Let loose a little

ChevalBunita

Night. Darkness all to consuming. Feuga lifted up her pale blue eyes to look at the overhead glowing orb hanging in the starry sky. When the moon was full, so was your will. The red wolf knew what that phrase meant all to well. The shadows dancing all around her as the echoes chattered off of trees and rocks. All resonating inside her brain, crying out in unison. Like a warning almost. Whispered words to forbid her to step too far into the dark or she might never be seen again. But, Feuga was no fool. Oh, no. The red one might be a low Gamma, but her strength lie in her resilence.

No matter what lay behind the realm of moon's guiding light she would be ready for it. She did not fear death or pain, and besides that what else was there to be afraid of? She continued her padding, the marks on her body moving to the tune of the mistresse's glimmering rays. Her head lifting up every so often as her ears flickered once. Always listening. Always on the watch.

Untamed Bewilderment
*With a head up, a nose pointing high, and a body flat on the ground Lunar lie there on the ground watching through the leaves at the glimmer of the shining moon. The spring had brought new leaves to the trees which blocked out most of the light, but something as beautiful as the Moon always made itself seen. Slowly standing Lunar decided it was time for a walk. A big bright moon always made her kind of playful. She would find something to do.*

ChevalBunita

Fuega stilled, sensing something else in the woods with her. She was so used to a life of solitude that anything that even remotely sounded like another creature sent waves up and down her spine. The red one was cautious and was quick to put a gaurd up at the first sign of trouble. She cocked her head to the side, listening in silence as her body stiffened. It was as if she stayed still enough then she might not be seen against the beautiful light of the moon.

Untamed Bewilderment
*Slowly she stood and then began to walk. First toward her path she had made earlier walking then she stopped. A smell, a kind of new one, one that had not been there earlier. She took in a deep sniff of the scent before letting out a warning growl loud enough to hear 20 yards away*

"Who's there"

ChevalBunita

As soon as the growl could be heard Feuga felt the fur on the back of her body stand on edge. But, the growl told tells. Female. About her age. The red wolf sniffed the air once, taking in the scent and letting it breath out her snout. She wondered if the other wolf was alone, but after another heavy breath she knew that indeed she was. Which left the question to be answered. The red one lifted her head in the direction of the growl and felt her heart thumping around in her chest, pounding against her ribcage.

"Fuega," she said with an ounce of fear to her voice, "And you?"

Untamed Bewilderment
*After the name Lunar took off running toward the voice. Her body shifting as her steps lessened and her speed increased. Trees went by, then as a dark figure was seen. Jumping up into the air Laughing could be heard as the female wolf decided toward the figure*

"Lunar is my name*

*Another growl was heard*

ChevalBunita

Fuega heard the rustling and the movements and as she did the red one closed her eyes. As if she could not be seen if she did not see. But, once she opened them again and saw the other female she saw that there was nothing really to be afraid of. Both were the same size, both look lithe and slender. An equal match.

"Lunar," she repeated, noting the growl, but deciding not to touch on it just yet. "What beckons you to the woods?"

Untamed Bewilderment
*Upon landing a mere two feet away she thrust her head forward with her teeth bared. Then closed it quickly as her muzzle poked the side of the other wolf. Though she quickly jumped back. Knowing that was a dangerous thing to do, not all wolves were nice and playful, Lunar stood and smiled*

"Just passing through going back to my fa..well pack. May I ask what brings you here?"

ChevalBunita

At the first sight of the wolf's teeth Feuga reared back and showed her own, growling deep as she did so. But quickly she learned that the other wolf was merely playing. Something the red one had long since forgotten to do. She quickly settled, and smiled back, her fur straightening back to its original form and her jaw going slack once more. At Lunar's answer the young Gamma brightened. Oh a pack! She had never met a wolf from a pack before. She had been out of her own for so long she forgot what the concept was truly.

"Wondering," she muttered in answer to Lunar's question. "Always wondering."

Untamed Bewilderment
*Smiling she took a step closer and smiled*

"Don't worry. The pack I am in is....er.....well this is going to sound weird, but we are pacifiest. We don't prefer violence. ..... So do not worry about me doing you any harm."

*She smiled again before sitting and tilting her head back again toward the glowing moon. She could tell summer was not long away because of the moon. Always watching it through the seasons she learned when things were happening. The moon was kind......kind of one of the few friends, besides her new ones in the pack, she really ever had.*

ChevalBunita

Fuega smiled at the thought, her body finally and fully relaxing completely. She sat down on her haunches herself and studied the other female with an analytical eye. Lunar seemed to hold to her promises, the red one could sense that she would not be harmed. She took all the information in, nodding every so often.

"Pacifist," she repeated, liking the sound of it, "If we were all like you there would be no need for fear." her icy eyes glinted at that thought as she too raised her head up at the moon. Then lifted it back down to look at her counterpart. "I...myself, am more of a realist."

Untamed Bewilderment
*Lunar thought back to her past once more. Lowering her head to look at the ground whispering softly the word "Fear," this made her think back to her mother.....the pack....that night...... Before fazing back in*

"What is a realist?"

*She did not know what that was but it sounded interesting. Her fur moved a bit in the slight breeze as she turned her head back up to look at Fuega.*

ChevalBunita

Feuga smiled, wondering what the best way to explain the concept. Hmmm. As she thought, her brow furrowed in deep rooting concetration as her ears flickered every so often. Her tail moved slowly back and forth as the night's air did its work in chilling her weary bones.

"A realist is someone who sees things for what they are," she said nodding her head once as she finally spoke. "I long for the company of other wolves, a pack to call my own. I long for a world where there is no violence, where people leave in peace. Pacisfists as you say. But....I know such things will never be. That is a realist..."
PostPosted: Wed Jul 26, 2006 2:26 pm

Untamed Bewilderment
"Sadly it is true. There will never be peace, always violence and fighting. But it does not always have to happen in hate. Violence is committed when you kill your meal, it is committed when something is attacking your loved one and you defend them. Violence is something that will always be. But hate is something you want to remove. We do not fight. .....well I should say they do not. I am really new and wish to be like them. I was once alot diffrent than I am now."

*Slowly looking away from Feuga she sighed a bit now her past was in her head she was no longer playful.*

ChevalBunita

Listening to the words intently Feuga realized that it was all true. Lunar made good points that the red one couldn't even begin to think. If this was so then truly all her inward apathy and fears could be washed away like the cleansing rain. There was some good in the world. You just had to make extra effort to find it. Feuga could also sense that the other wolf had something inside her, some deep rooted emotion edging to get out. Perhaps it had something to do with her past. Perhaps not.

"You are very wise, Lunar," Feuga said sinicerly, "But, different then what you are now? What were you once?"

Untamed Bewilderment
*Realizing she was being to open she snapped out of her mood and put on a smile*

"Oh just a little rough and rowdy. I went through phases. I was always ready to fight......and then there were times when I was always fearful. But you have to look past that. Just realize not everyone is out to get you. You have to have fun sometimes"

*Lunar stood up and stretched. Her paws slipped forward on the ground and her head stretched to her legs as her rump and tail and hind legs raised into the air. She then padded over closer to Feuga and pushed her shoulder slightly into Feuga's shoulder. A playful jester.*

ChevalBunita

Fuega nodded, taking in the words, until the playful push. Hmmm, have fun sometimes. The red one wasn't even sure if she knew how to do that, but she for damn sure wanted to try. For to long had she been drifting through the woods, her only kindred spirit her lone shadow. Letting out a playful growl she reared up and nipped at the other wolf. Letting it be known that she was willing to enact in jovial moments.

Untamed Bewilderment
*Jumping back after being nibbled she gave out a yipe of delight. Jumping foward she snapped quickly, yet not in a harmful way, at Feuga's tail*

"Fun is good. Lighten up*

ChevalBunita

Fuega let out a howl of delight as she countered and clamped her jaw over the other wolf's side. Not even hard enough to ruffle her fur. Fun, well if this was what it was to have fun she sure was enjoying herself. But alas, the fun wasn't meant to last. The red one perked her ears and stopped completely, hearing something rustling in the distance. Her mouth began to salivate as she knew it to be a small mammal. One fit for dinner. She was awfully hungry.

"Food," she said simply, breaking away from her counterpart. "Perhaps we shall meet again my pacifist friend. Adios Lunar," she added as she bounded off towards the darker woods.

Untamed Bewilderment
*Shocked for a moment she just smiled*

"Take care Feuga. Maybe we shall......till then....."

Fuega/Cathal - Fear the monster in my head

ChevalBunita

Her manky head lifted lazily from her paws as she stared up at the life giver above her. Slowly making it's downward treck into the void, the first sign of dusk. The sound of settling was all around Fuega. From the animals tucking away in fear of what comes in night to those fierce creatures that came out for want of the bloodlust deep within them. This part of the day was the red one's favorite. It was the changing all around that reminded her so much of what was within her. She herself, trying to explore, trying to understand the world around her. Just like the sky's orangy and yellow hues shimmering and then becoming completely overtaken with the night. Blackest skies meeting golden rays. It was like a large vat of corruption overhead, and with each day's passing the gamma couldn't help but wonder if it was all meant for her.

Sometimes it seemed that way. When she was murking around in her depths of solitude. Without a place to truly call home. Without others to share her wonderment with. Sure, she had met wolves while passing through this weary life. She had learned from them, grown inwardly at what they had to offer. But, she longed for something more. She longed for a place to rest her weary paws. Maybe even for just once?

Yakobi
A small grin had found its way onto Cathal's maw, his eye shifting about the growing darkness. The male slowly let out a silent chuckle, making his way though the woods, behind him his tail swaying madly. The little bits of his ears that were left, flicked back and he shut his blind eye. It seemed the muscles that had been damaged upon his face were acting up again, causing a sharp pain to run though his left side.

'Come on now...Find something to bother..' came a voice deep within his mind. Cathal cringed at the sound, the sides of his maw curling into a snarl.
"I will do as I please." came his bitter remark to the voice that lay restless within him. Though the voice seemed to beckon that he do as it say.

Giving his head a good shake, he swallowed his thoughts and went off, in search for anyone.

ChevalBunita

Fuega continued to watch as the sky finished its transition and became a pretty blue color, blackening itself for the coming of the dark. She blinked once and then stretched her body out to her fullest before the female rose up. She shook herself a few times to clear away the wayward leaves and dirt and then she began a slow trot under the new moon's guidance. It's gossamer rays beating down on her back as the gamma looked around every so often.

As she did she stopped. Her ears flicked back and her nostrils flared, a scent catching itself in them. Strange. She hadn't recognized the smell before, but she knew what it meant. Something or...someone was nearby. She braced herself, always cautious as to what it might be.

Yakobi
The beta soon added a little speed to his step as the voice inside him grew louder. His tail by now had gone limp and his head was constantly swirving to glimpse everything upon his blind side. His body stilled for a moment, as though Cathal was no longer in control. The moonlight slowly washed over him, his fur shimmering for a breif moment. "The moon shall bring us, the best of company, don't you think Cathal?" the wolf uttered, letting out a laugh right after.

After the laugh had cessed Cathal found himself once again in control of his body. "I suppose..." he muttered under his breath, though no matter how he spoke what lay inside him would hear, and he knew it.

Suddenly he jerked his head up, as the wind washed past his body. A slight scent soon filled him, his paws bringing him closer and closer to its owner. "Well, well who might be out here..." his inner voice uttered outward though the male's body.

ChevalBunita

Fuega gave an involuntary shudder as she heard something moving towards her, the steps heavy and edged. They stopped and started once more, and the red one didn't know if that was such a good thing to hear. It seemed indecisive, or maybe they were in search of prey. The gamma felt a chill run through the course of her body and nestle itself deep within her gut. The wolf's fight or flight instinct kicking in overdrive. Maybe it would be someone who wouldn't hurt her? She shook her head. Such a thought was laughable. She should believe everyone was out to do her wrong until she proved otherwise.

Keeping her fears at bay she let a small and weak, "Whose there?" despite the fact that it was coupled with an underlined growl.

Yakobi
The grin that kept appearing and disappearing upon the male's maw, had seemed to be replaced with a smirk. The stubs of blue and cream placed upon his head rotated forward, best they could as a voice rang out. "Well hello there miss." the deranged voice inside him spoke out. Quickly Cathal shook his head muttering 'get out' over and over. He was indeed in control of his body, but it seemed his other half had now taken control of his vocals.

"Come now Cathal, don't be rude!" the male barked at himself, as he slowly began to walk forward once more. Soon the sight of a red female came into his view, the smirk not entirly vanishing. "Miss, I really don't think who I am is important here. The question is, who are you?"
PostPosted: Wed Jul 26, 2006 2:28 pm

ChevalBunita

That voice..... With just the tones and the way it sounded escaping the male's snout, Fuega was chilled inside and out. There was something sickenly sweet about it. As if it were a creature that was running on something eerie and unnatural. She could sense the strangeness within the creature from the undulations of his voice. But, as the creature stood in front of her in the moonlight she knew the voice was the least of her worries.

Fuega's icy blue ices took the stranger in, the way the moonlight made the soft blues and creams shimmer and almost glow with light coming in from nowhere yet everywhere all at once. It made her head spin as she looked at the patterns etched in his fur. She noted that he was blind in one eye, though her heart bore no sympathy as it was engulfed in silent fear. But, the greatest thing?

Oh the greatest trembling was from his smile. A cold calculated smile that made the male's eyes dance with flame yet with emptiness. The low gamma felt her tail itching to tuck between her legs. Felt her mind's eye crying and screaming at her to run. Run and never look back. But, pride kept her planted.

With as brave a voice as she could muster she spoke. "I am Fuega. And if your name bears no importance, then do you not as well?"

Yakobi
The corners of Cathal's maw curled, the ends almost spiraling into a deranged look. The female seemed somewhat wary of his presence, something the deep voice within him liked. He enjoyed feeling of greater importance then another. And perhaps that was why at a younger age he had ruled over a pack, at least until it had met its...Unruly demise.

Slowly he looked her over, the bits of brown, blended in with her red pelt. Such odd colours, not that it mattered any.

What she suddenly uttered, made Cathal's head jurk back. The grin swiftly washing away and being replaced with a grimace of sorts. He would have lunged had it not been for his other half. His better half.

His head soon lowered, as from his throat emitted a small growl. Not to the female. No he had no reason to growl at Fuega, but at his inner self. The part of him that had control over his vocals. It was at that point where, ease came over his body. He felt free for the moment.

"Please excuse my rudeness." he uttered softly clearing his throat. "I am Cathal. Pleasure to meet you." his true voice was ringing out now, his sencere voice.
'Bite her ankles!' the voice within him snarled, upset at his loss over Cathal's vocals. But his request fell upon deaf ears, as the male's rightful half indroduced himself to the female.

ChevalBunita

At the wolf's jerkings the gamma's legs began to twitch as her muscles began to ache all over. It was if her body chose for her and longed to dash away to safety. The red one's mind however was in charge, and she wanted....no she needed to stay. Something was amiss here. The other one's eyes told tells, especially with each twisted grin and movement he made. Almost like the wolf was having an internal battle with in himself. At the name she merely nodded, and then there was the deep low growl. A growl in some circles would have commanded respect....only Feuga knew it wasn't meant for her.

And if not directed at her then who? She looked around towards the darkened woods and then up towards the moon, as if looking past it towards the emptiness beyond. Finally she looked back down at Cathal. And then it hit her. What was wrong with the creature. Perhaps his mind was swept away with the winds. Such a thing was uncommon, but wasn't unheard of. And with that realization came the sympathy she wouldn't allow herself to have earlier. Maybe this wolf was lonely or cast to the side because of what he had become.

Much like she was. Smiling in compassion the gamma stepped up and nodded, "The pleasure's mind." She looked back up towards the moon, her eyes weary as she wondered if there was any danger here. "Its beautiful this time, isn't it?" she asked, indicating the glowing orb above them.

Yakobi
Cathal seemed somewhat surpised that the female had responded as nicly as she had. He had expected her to have snaped at him, or run off. His inner self was never polite and then there was the look that he always gave. Cathal shuddered at the sudden thought.

Snapping back to the present, he gave his head a slight shake. Somewhat to have himself pay attention and somewhat to vanqish the sounds in his mind.

Slowly he tilted his head to the side, his tail lifting. Fuega's comment about the time of night had caught him off guard. He had never really given something like that much thought. "I suppose it is.." he uttered, tilting his head up to take in a glimpse of the sky.
'You suppose it is?! This time of night is foul. As is any other time.' the voice boomed within his mind.

ChevalBunita

He doesn't care she thought to herself as she saw his heavy head tick towards the starry night sky. Fuega let out a soft sigh. Not many care for the simple beauty in things, but that was no matter. Right now she needed to concentrate on the possible crazed wolf near her side. Though despite his inner insanity the red one wasn't as scared as she once was. Maybe it was because she felt sorry for Cathal...perhaps she had a secret death wish should he try anything. She knew not. Only that she had to keep his trouble mind occupied.

She wasn't sure why. She was lonely herself of course, so any conversation, no matter how strained or odd was welcomed. But, there was an internal desire to help also at play. She tore her eyes away from him and the moon and circled round, head hanging in the semi darkness.

"Care for a walk?" she asked quietly, already taking a few steps away.

Yakobi
'Yes, take a walk. Rip her throat out for that comment she spoke earlier.' Cathal's inner voice laughed, trying to taunt the one in control of the body.

The beta's head lowered, "..Shut up." he spoke under his breath, hoping Fuega would not hear and believe that he had been speaking to her. His yellow and blue orbs shut, as he tried to will away the voice within him. He was not fond of these thoughts, these things that his other half told him.

Cathal sighed, as the voice dimed. Just an almost silent laugh remaining. "I'd love to." he smiled, best he could, dispite the thought that had been placed inside his mind. He'd resist harming the female. He had to, she had done nothing wrong.

ChevalBunita

Fuega could barely hear the muttering, but it was so low she could not distinguish what was said. Thus she quickly dismissed it. Instead she ticked her icy eyes up to capture the crazed ones. She forced a smile, if only for show and for her own calm. "Good," she muttered, her brow furrowed in concern. Again her heart beat around inside her chest, demanding that she get away. But, by now it was to late. Cathal could do what he wished. She meant him no harm. Only to comfort whatever was ailing him. Even if it was against himself.

She kept a steady pace despite her limbs trembling every so often. She wondered if he could sense the fear coming and going, replaced by sympathy coming off in waves.

Yakobi
Cathal felt a wave of relief flow over him, as the female spoke nothing of his muttering. If she had heard, it was obvious she couldn't make any of it out. That fact comforted him, until the voice began shouting to him once more. He nodded slowly, padding after Fuega his brown paws kicking up bits of dirt as he did.

His body winced as another sharp pain ran though his left side. His snout wrinkled as he shook off the pain. That was when his yellow orb caught sight of Fuega's legs trembling every so often. "Is everything alright?" he questioned, picking up his pace to walk alongside the female.

He looked her over, everything seemed alright. No visible scars, or wounds, but those were things the night could hide. 'Oh good. She's afraid of us.'

The male rattled his head, he wouldn't believe such an idea. Dispite the fact that in a way he could feel that she was afraid, not entirly but it was there.

ChevalBunita

Fuega let out a long breath of air, watching in rapt fascination as the wind picked it up and let it frost ever so softly in the night. She was bating his question. She knew that he could sense her fear, even if it was dwindling off and on. She wasn't sure how to play the hand dealt to her. Well if Cathal was going to hurt her, wouldn't he have already done it? She stopped and looked over at him. Her icy blue eyes connecting with his mismatched ones once again.

"Well..." she said, choosing her words carefully, "You're too complex of a story to truly get into. Reading takes time...not that I'm not willing to try" she added with a weak smile.

Yakobi
Cathal watched as Fuega thought over his question. His eyes narrowed, a serious look taking over his features. The two white marks seemed to darken with his eyes, however that could be connected with the fact that his head lowered some.

"Oh, I'm hurt." the male frowned in a joking way as the deepened voice came forth from his maw. "You should be careful what you say. Never know what could happen." he snarled, his tail swaying back and forth behind him.

"Leave her be." came another snarl, this time directed towards himself. It wasn't often that both voices of Cathal had control of his vocals. At least it wasn't his body.

The gamma took a few steps back, her muscles twitching and her fur starting to stand on end. So this was it. The male really was crazy, through and through. It was a private matter, whatever Cathal was discussing....with himself, however it did concern her. Two sides to this creature, this torn coin. At the head she was obviously in grave danger, where she could amost feel the wolve's jaws wanting to clamp down around her body. But, on the other she knew there to be some good within him. Afterall wasn't there good in us all. The real question was, which side of this wolf would win over.

The side that wanted to hurt her, or the side that seemed to be the gentlemen. It was like Dr. Jekyll and Mr Hyde wrapped up in fur. "Calm down," she said in hushed tones, her head ducking low. "I meant nothing by it. An observation only. If you wish..." she raised her head up, looking at him full. "I will go and never look back..."

The male felt his legs bend, his body pulling forward forcing his legs to obey. Soon his face was up as close as it could be to hers. "Now miss, don't you think leaving would be rude?" One corner of his lips curled, the other remained motionless. An extreamly deranged grin of sorts. "And I asure you, I'm very calm." his menacing voice growled.

The fear coming from Fuega pleased the insane side of Cathal. And it seemed that the proper Cathal had been vaquished for the time being. "You don't want to be rude, now do you?" His eyes gleamed of dark yellow and blue, making it entirly obvious who was in control.

A low whimper resonated throughout her body without the gamma wanting it to. She had meant to be a strong growl. To let him know who was really in charge. But, she shouldn't kid herself. This situation was not pups at play. It was serious. Life or death even. What would her fate be. She knew which side had won over in the male's mind. The one she really didn't want to face. She closed her eyes for a moment, seeing the back of her lids before she finally opened them.

She looked into his eyes, only inches away from her own. She was afraid, they both knew it. But, what he didn't know was that Fuega had been accepting of fate ever since she was a young pup. She knew there was evil in the world, thought she had seen the worst of it. Well, if death was the only thing to fear then fear should have no place in her heart.

"No, Cathal," she said forcing her jaw into a weary smile. "I'm sorry I don't wish to be rude. I have a poor way with words, seem to speak before I think. Forgive me?"

Yakobi
The other side of Cathal's lip finally curled, giving in the the side that was in control. "That's better." he chuckled, quite pleased with the female's response, not to mention the whimper that had escaped her throat.

His cream tiped tail slowly coiled its way around his right hind leg, as he shifted the weight upon his paws. "Now tell me," he began, licking his chops, "Why shouldn't you be punished for that mouth of yours?"

'Leave her be!' the true half of Cathal shouted as he was traped inside his body, without control of anything. 'You shall not harm her!' Cathal's shouts came off as more of pleas to his darker side, and he was aware that he...It would not give in so easily to such a thing. He needed a way to take his body back. To regain control, but he wasn't sure how. This had been exactly why he had banished himself after what had happened in his pack. He wanted to stay away from other wolves, as his darker half found more enjoyment in torturing wolves then anything else.

"Cathal please," Fuega finally shouted, her voice seeming to regain some of the strength it usually had. Fear no evil, for evil was merely death. Was she afraid to die? She alternated her icy blue eyes between his mismatched ones, unsure of which of his half she was speaking to. "If punishment is what you want then take it," she said, surprising even herself by the lack of terror it held, when just moments before it was all it had. "Maul me, hurt me....even kill me, but...." she raised herself up a little bit, staring deep within his eyes. Praying for one last bit of humanity within the other wolf. "I didn't mean you harm..."

The gamma stepped in front of his better eye, hoping Cathal would see she truly posed no threat. "You have been only a brute to me and my only wish is to offer you some sort of fellowship. What crime is that?" She stepped closer, her face showing a glimmer of compassion even though his eyes might be the last she would see. "Surely, you won't hate me for that?"

Cathal was shocked by Fuega's response. Her fear seemed to have dwindled and now she wasn't caring whether he hurt her or not. No this wasn't right. She was supposed to be begging him not to hurt her. Beg like all the others that he had faced, but she wasn't...Something was wrong. "I-I..." he stammered, for once in his life the dark side of Cathal didn't know what to say.

The true Cathal grinned within himself, this was it. This was his chance to take his body back! A brown paw lifted placing itslef upon his cream striped maw. His eyes shut, brows knitting themselves together. "I'm sorry...I didn't mean to..." he bluted out, finally placing his paw down.

Opening his eyes he looked at her, "I don't wish to hurt you...Forgive me." His mind ached, but for once his other half remained quiet. Most likely contemplating what should be done now that Fuega had not cared for her well being.

Fuega finally let out the long drawn out breath she hadn't realized she had been holding in. The beast within him was kept at bay...for now. She raised her head up, looking at the almost taunting moon. Night was beginng to slip away and she was growing tired. At his words she was hit with more waves of sympathy, feeling very sorry for the poor wolf. How troubling it must be to be waging wars against yourself. At least Fuega had managed to stop the fight. If even for a small while.

"Forgiven," she said sweetly as she approached him and gave a soft near nuzzle. As if to quiet his forsaken mind. She pulled away, not daring herself to get too close to this strange wolf for fear that their meeting might be drawn out longer. She was awfully tired. "It's my resting time," she said nodding up towards the settling moon. Had it really been a night spent in confusion for them both? No matter...

She smiled again, warmly. "Perhaps we shall meet again Cathal? Until then..." she began walking away before stoppping and turning back 'round, cocking her head to the side slightly. Studying him. "Until then...I bid you both goodnight."

With that she padded off into the darker foliage. In need of a good sleep after such an unusual night.

Cathal let a sigh of relief pass his lips as Fuega had forgiven him. How was he ever to speak properly with anyone with that darker side to him. His other half was always getting in the way and causing trouble with whoever he met.

"Thank you." he uttered giving a dip of his maw in grattitude. "Goodnight."
