Nayami’s theory of love scarred his mind. Ryu felt a dreadful ache in his stomach as he fell back down. “I don’t think so. Over the past couple of months I think I know the difference. I haven’t felt it in over ten years. Other than power, that is the only thing I want in my life. One of the only things I would kill for.” As the pain went away, he sat up and hung his head. “Would you mind telling me about your past? I’m a very curious person, if you haven’t figured that out yet., and your life style intrigues me.” Ryu sat next to Nayami and press his body against hers, the warmth of it relaxed him. “Though I do believe everyone craves someone.”

“Tck.” Nayami seemed to snort coldly at the mention of her past. Throwing the sheets off of her body she soon jumped off from the bed, her legs wobbled gently as she tried to get used to her body weight since she had been asleep for quite some time. “Like I said, love doesn’t exist; people just tell you that in order to get certain things out of you.”

“Nayami….Nayami dear, you know I love you….I love you so much...”

Reaching up with one of her hands, Nayami raked her fingers roughly through her hair as she tried to clear her thoughts.

“You’re so precious to me Nayami….so precious…my little girl…”

Bringing up her other free hand she cupped both of her palms over her forehead as she dug her nails into her skin.

“Nayami…you know I love you right?”

“M-mom?”

“If you loved me back…you’d leave right? Daddy doesn’t like his little girl, and when daddy's sad it makes mommy even sadder.”

Slamming one of her fists into the wall a small crack seemed to rise up from the impact.
“My past doesn’t matter, and stop badgering me about it.” Nayami soon snapped as she kept her back to Ryu, her teeth clenched tightly as she tried to block out her current memories.

Ryukinzo arose to his feet and stepped behind the furious female. He embraced Nayami by her waist and pulled her against him. Using his canines, he bit down on her earlobe with very little pressure. And with his teeth still attached to the other Kage, he gently spoke to her. “Get things like what? It sounds like someone has had a bad love life. From what I’ve seen, that happens to just about everyone. You shouldn’t be that way.” The young man released his hold as he sighed. He glanced at the damage she brought forth to the wall, but paid very little attention to it. “Mom? Do you miss her? Mine died in a war with my father when I was seven. My older brother then sailed away from our island and found a village to live in for a couple of years.”

Nayami felt her body relax as the broad arms of the male Kage gently wrapped around her waist. Her eyes softly closing as she tried to cool her temper, but that attempt failed miserably as she felt something snap inside of her at the mention of her mother. Snarling she threw her elbow back into Ryu’s chest, as she soon slipped out from his grasp.

“You know s**t all about me.” Growling loudly she stormed out of her room, “My mother can rot in hell for all I care, she deserves to suffer, she deserves everything Hell has to offer.”

Slamming the paper door viciously behind her, the force from her anger sent it flying off its hinges, landing to the wooden floor with a loud bang as she sprinted off down the dark hallways of her house.

The Crystal Kage froze as Nayami stampeded out of the room. The only thing that moved on the outside of his body, after she broke free from his hold, was his eyelids. After blinking and thinking for a moment, Ryu patiently walked towards the direction the woman ran off to. While doing over the fallen do, his left heel put a dent in it. “She's sexy when she’s mad” he said quietly. As he entered the darkness, his narrowed his eyes, straining to see what laid ahead. “Hey…this running away thing is pissing me off. Be a man an-” Ryukinzo ended his sentence right there, for the last thing he need was a brutal backfire of his so called jokes.

“Love my ******** that.” Nayami muttered as she jumped down the long flight of stairs, her feet landing on the ground with a loud thud as the sound of hallowed wood filled the air.

“She didn’t care what real mother would try to kill off her own child…then blame it on accidents…” Ripping open the door that led outside, Nayami’s mind seemed to be completely scrambled with memories from the past.

“Why couldn’t they just tell me I wasn’t wanted….why did they have to lie and try to blame it on love…” Storming off along the moist dew stained grass the bright moon spilled through the clouds lighting Nayami's path as she headed off into what seemed to be a forest area, a small woodland place that served as a boarder around her house.

“Why did my pathetic brother even try to convince me he loved me…he only said it so I wouldn’t end his life…pathetic…truly pathetic…”

“Nayami…why are you doing this…I-I don’t want to fight you….”

“Nayami…stop…I can’t b-breathe.”

“P-please stop hurting me…I can’t bring myself to try and hurt you back…”

“Nayami please…I love you, you’re my sister…”

“Mom and dad may not mean it, but I do…I really do, you me-”

The ring of metal rang through Nayami’s ears as she remembered the exact sound of her katana sliding out from its sheath only to decapitate her little brother.

“Why does everyone always use excuses…why is everyone so god damn scared to tell the truth…why…”

Throwing her body up against a tree she used the rigid texture of the bark to keep herself up right.
“All god damn lies…every…last single bit of it, love is nothing but a ******** lie.”

Rei had finished packing a while ago. He had waited a couple of days to make sure Nayami was capable of getting up, let alone giving him a mission to go off on. He wasn't really attempting to accomplish anything, so he didn't care what she gave him so long as he could stay outside of a village long enough to try and get used to Raijuu. It would probably take years to truly adapt to the creature, but he needed to be ready for the use of the village, so he'd only go for a couple of weeks. He approached her house to find that Nayami was outside and against a tree.

"Arashikage-sama? You certainly have recovered well. I'm glad to know that you're all right." He remarked, looking at the Kage as he shifted his shoulders a bit. "I'm here for a mission, if you can give me one. I need to be away from others for a little while, so anything that would be expected to take a little time or insignificant enough to be missed a while would be greatly appreciated, Nayami-sama." He added, standing before his leader rigidly. It was almost like he expected to get an order to do something which he'd immediately do, even if it did get in the way of his "training".

As Ryukinzo made his way though the house, his foot slipped as he came to the stairs. Now falling forward, he extended his arm and did a handstand, then flipped down to the bottom. Noticing moonlight, the Crystal Kage headed in that direction and found himself facing a forest. He walked through with great stealth. Hearing Nayami’s voice, his ears twitched and he walked towards her. Ryukinzo stopped several yards away while performing hand seals. A snake emerged from each his wrists and slithered on the grass, and onto her legs. “Well, it can be, but it all depends on who it comes from.” One of the reptiles flicked his tongue out once it reached her belly, rapidly lashing his tongue against her skin.

Michio strode from the door leading out toward Nayami and the foreign Kage, seemingly uninterested in the other man entirely. Passing him like a spectre, it didn't even seem as if his feet touched the ground or that his presence could be felt or noticed at all, beside that of a quick glimpse.

His face hidden behind another of his multitude of masks, this one very simplistic, a black mask that had smooth ridges spiraling outward from the center. There were no holes or slits in the mask, a plane slate of smooth ceramic, bound and held effortlessly over Michio's true appearance.

Though his eyes were entirely covered, his movement was perfect, entirely aware of his surroundings, more so than many of those who had their birth-given sight in use.

Michio's clothing was composed of his usual equipment supported upon black straps, several things visible, though the tru strength of his commonly carried arsenal was entirely hidden from view. The black pants running down straight into his boots were securely belted at his waist, a few sheaths and weapons visible along with it, as well as the simple sword slung up his back.

The solemn way in which Michio approached Nayami seemed quite different than usual, less like the doting of a servant. Michio stood a few paces from Nayami, awaiting back to one side. He'd stayed and waited paciently in Nayami's grand abode until she were well, leaving her and the other Kage to their business, keeping his whereabouts unknown from the two.

It could be considered strange that he would have only now made his presence known, but enigmatic behavior was a common feature of Michio's.

There were way too many things going on all at once leaving Nayami as one big wreck, even the lingering presence of Michio didn't seem to help her, as much as she had hoped it would.
Running her claws down the length of the tree she winced as her nails ripped through the bark with ease.

“We never loved you…you’re a disgrace to all humans Nayami, I wish you would’ve died so I wouldn’t ever have to look at your disgusting little face…”

“Why are you so disgusting…I wish you would’ve died…”

Breathing heavily Nayami reached down and tore off the snakes from her body, throwing them down roughly to the ground below.

“You…know nothing of real pain…” She muttered as a steady flow of blood began to trickle down her chin. Her sharp canines had eventually punctured through the soft skin of her lower lip causing the deep crimson to flow down her skin with ease. Lifting her head up slowly at the sound of Rei’s voice, her bright eyes landed on him, her mind playing tricks on her as he soon saw the exact appearance of her little brother.

Approaching Rei slowly Nayami wrapped her arms tightly around the young boy, holding him close as she rested her head on his shoulder. “Why did you lie to me…why couldn’t you have just said you hated me…why did you have to be so different…”

Feeling her eyes sting with tears she held Rei even closer. “Why did you lie…Ritoru?” Dripping down her pale cheeks her salty tears fell onto Rei’s neck as she continued to hold him tightly.

It wasn’t till she ran her hand over Rei’s head that she finally realized she was currently lost in a state of grief. Usually her slender fingers would soon be greeted by a mop of messy black hair, her little brother always being a childish, free spirit kind of boy.

Shaking her head, Nayami tried to clear her thoughts as she pulled away roughly from Rei.

“…Go…check…on the other villages…scan out the land… stay as long as you need to...leave…” She finally whispered out as she dragged her body away from the visible Ryu and Rei, wondering if Michio would eventually follow her as she slowly headed deeper into the center of the forest.

Ryukinzo frowned as his vision shifted back and forth at the pieces of the two snakes, and at the young boy that she embraced. He didn’t expect to see Nayami weeping, nor did he expect for Nayami to have felt a much stronger pain than the one he experience when he ended his relationship with Lil. Once she ventured away, Ryu ignored everyone and everything else that was going on and continued to follow her. As he neared a tree he shoved it the side, causing it to tilt over slighty so he wouldn’t have to walk all the way around it. Once he was within reaching distance of Nayami, he used the body flicker jutsu and stopped in front of her. “Forgive me for being so soft, but I can’t let you walk around like this. It’s beginning to hurt me as well.” The expression on his face was now calm. Once once again, he pressed his palms against her hips and curled his fingers around them.

Nayami’s eyes narrowed down as she felt Ryu’s hands land on her hips, the coiling of his fingers over her skin caused her fists to clench.

“WHAT DON’T YOU UNDERSTAND!?” Bringing back one of her wrists she allowed her hand to snap across his face, her nails gashing out a strip of flesh as she could feel her palm sting from the force of the smack.

“I DON’T GIVE A RATS a** ABOUT YOU’RE FEELINGS, EMOTIONS ARE NOTHING TO ME. GO ******** ALL THOSE POOR EXCUSES YOU CALL SHINOBI BECAUSE I WILL NEVER EVER RETURN YOUR FEELINGS.” Nayami was breathing fiercely as her own blood continued to drip down her lips.

“Stop trying to pretend like you’re my great savior, you don’t even know me, you know nothing!” Pushing by him she sent her elbow in the direction of his chest, not waiting to see if it connected for a second time as she boiled with anger.

It wasn’t that she hated Ryu, his timing…had just been quite horrible, a man that she barely knew confessing his fancy for her reminded the storm Kage greatly of her family, setting off that one spark before she fully ignited. She hated having people bring up love when she truly believed they were lying, something she believed the crystal Kage was taking part in.

It also didn't help matters much as a new foreign emotion began to stab at Nayami's heart, the thought of actually falling for that one cold person caused the female Kage's head to spin knowing that love was truly a big weakness to anyone.

The Crystal Kage turned his head and smirked as he felt the mighty wrath of the woman’s hand. Before he could say anything, her elbow was rammed into his chest. The pain caused him to flinch and he took a step back. Her words seeped deep into his head, he analyzed every bit of it. But the stubborn shinobi wouldn’t be stopped by her words nor actions. As he placed his hand of his red chest, he began to speak once more. “Ah, it seems like you don’t understand that I don’t understand. I don’t understand you because you won’t give me a chance. Ha, you’re acting like my brother. They tried reasoning with the poor boy, but he wouldn’t make a sound. Kinryu was pretty upset when our parents died, but he hid his loving emotions and brought his anger to his outer shell. I don‘t know if you‘re the same way, mainly because I don‘t understand, but you‘re just about the same as him.” Ryukinzo closed his eyes and smirked as memories of him and his brother ran through his mind. He extended his arms out to the side and tilted his head back slightly, leaving his body open. Ryu did this several times with his brother to relieve him of his stress. “I really don’t like giving up on things that easily. But it seems like you have more anger to lash out…go ahead. Make me bleed. You wouldn’t hold back on me, would you? Just as long as I have enough energy to squirm away in the end, I’ll be okay. So go ahead, shoot me.”

Nayami stopped dead in her tracks as she continued to hear Ryu’s voice, his persistence only increasing her anger ten-fold.

“You are a fool Ryu.” She spoke simply as she kept her back turned to him.

“One of these days that pathetic attitude is going to be the death of you.” Shaking her head softly she continued to walk forward, not giving him the simplest of pleasures by giving into him. Nayami planned to ignore his offer, knowing that she may be cold and cruel but she wasn’t a barbaric ape, she took pride in her abilities.

“Once I start something, I’ll finish it, I don’t leave it half way, what you’re asking for is a death wish, and I will kill you if you continue to tempt me.” With that one last sentence ringing in the air she disappeared into the darkness of the forest.

Rei had stayed where he was, blinking a couple of times when Nayami had hugged him and called him Ritoru. It started to make him slightly curious about Nayami's past himself. But, unlike Ryu, the boy knew better than to ask about anything that he wasn't already welcomed to ask about. Which meant Nayami's personal feelings, beliefs and past were entirely off-limits to him. After she'd let him go, Rei bowed to her and turned to do as he was commanded.

"As you wish, Arashikage-sama. I shall return as soon as I can gather what is worth knowing and believe I am ready to be among others once again." He said, leaving Nayami to do whatever she was going to need to do to Ryu. It was likely there might be a comflict with the Crystal Village when he returned.
