My first book was Misery. I read it while I was sick one day and was hooked.

surprised I started with Carrie. Though I'd already been familiar with the movies. Reading Carrie is what got me to look into his books.

Let's see. My mom was an avid reader, so the first one I got was IT. After that, I was in love with his writing style, his dark subjects, everything. So I ran through The Stand, Insomnia, Cujo, Misery, Carrie, Firestarter, Bag of Bones, Skeleton Crew, all of the Bachman books, Everything's Eventual, Dreamcatcher, and the first Dark Tower. Unfortunately, our library is... pitiful. But that's from living in a small town. As such, I've been hunting around for the other Dark Tower books, because I loved the first one.

Oh! I cannot forget about Black House, which, oddly enough, I read before I read The Talisman. Oi... I rarely read anything that isn't some literary wonder that's been around forever, or Stephen King.

I cant honestly remmeber my first King Book. Yet I remember my mom having the Insominia book and me flipping through the pages. I was also very familair with the movies. of It, Carrie, Christine, Pet Cemetary.
I can say the book i enjoyed the most was Rose madder. Did anyone else read that one? Ive also read all those movies I had seen except for It, I read Desperation, and The regulators. I tried NeedFul things and Gearalds Game but never seemed to get in to it. *blinks* I just remembered my first book I read by him is Dolores Clayborne. I had seen the movie and I wanted to read the book. I feel stupid I couldnt remember but hehe

I really enjoyed Rose Madder. It's impossible for me to pick a favorite Stephen King book, but it's definately in my top ten.

I read It for thr first book and truly, it was freaky to me and I didn't want to read any more of his writing, but sice then I have become more and more addicted to his writings. sweatdrop yet sadly our library only has a limited amount of Stephen King.......they don't even have the Dark Tower series.

"Eyes of the Dragon", but that was so long ago I barely remember what happened. Some... five years? I think I was eleven, maybe even ten.

Anyway, no more Stephen King books for me until mom's b/f (Dave) introduced me to "The Gunslinger". And now? Well... now I'm a junky.

...thanks a lot, Dave.

The Girl Who loved Tom Gordan. 6th grade, found it at the library. The rest, as they say, is history.

I remember I was so astonished when it had the word '********' in there. And ya wanna hear something really pathetic? Stephen King taught me the facts of life. xd

Wow... that's...

Wow.

That must be a trip.

I have to wonder, though - just how screwed up will your sex life be thanks to King? whee
