For me, it was The Dark Tower I: The Gunslinger. I guess I kinda got interested in the drawings first...I picked it up from the school library. After that, I got hooked on everything King. whee

Pet Sematary. I was at a mall, and I knew I had to go to a baseball game later. So I was looking for a book. I saw that, recognized either the title or the author, and since then have been reading books by Stephen King ^_^

The first Stephen King book I read was Eyes of the Dragon. My sister bought it for me when I was 8. She is the reason I love reading so much and she used to buy me books and make me read them with her, helping me through the parts I had trouble with. That was before I really knew who Stephen King was and it was a long time before I began my obsession with Stephen King.

I read Misery, then The Shining, then I think Gerald's Game. Then I read The Talisman, then my dad got The Gunslinger so I started those.

I'd had The Stand for a while and was midway through it, but the first book by King I read through was Pet Sematary. Then 'Salem's Lot.

Eyes of the Dragon. I felt like I had read every single book in the house, and I had been debating picking up a King book for a while, and Mom said it was good. The only one she's read, too.
Oh, and I'm trying to get my friend reading Stephen King, but she doesn't like "books like that." So I'm guilting her into reading Eyes of the Dragon. I'm going to give it to her for her birthday. It seemed appropriate because she's a fantasy nut.
