Kaleb fidgeted a bit more, but he smiled nervously when Demyx made the introductions. "H-hi, Bandages, pleased to meet you," he said politely, still toying slightly with the bottom of his shirt.

"Thanks...wait your name is Demyx? That's silly, you look like a Tamber!" Bandages smiled at them both. "Okay, so, Seymour and Tamber, I got it now. Where should we start then?" She wagged her tail back and forth anticipating her first instruction.

"Tamber?..."
Demyx blinked in confusion a moment. This little one sure was odd...but if she wanted to play some weird naming game then fine, whatever.
"Well...would you be more comfortable learning in the actual ocean? If not we could dig a pit in the sand and put some water in it for you to learn...kinda like a small swimming pool? And then we could move out to bigger water later..."

Kaleb was about as confused with the angelic's naming system as Demyx was, but he also chose not to question it.
He smiled lopsidedly at his friend's idea, before deciding to voice an idea of his own. "We would need to dig a pretty large pit, maybe we could just stick to the shallow water?" Kaleb was pretty sure that would solve his problem as well, he wasn't sure if he was ready to go where his feet couldn't touch the bottom.

Bandages blinked as the two conversed, going back and forth on what should happen. She held her head with her paws and groaned. "You two are bad at choosing! Just pick something easy so I wont die of confusion before I even hit the water. Yeesh, you two are indicisive!"

Demyx sighed, ears flattening back a bit. Heck, they had hardly had time to even converse before Bandages interrupted them, and Demyx really wasn't used to things like this.
Fitting, that he should be 'tortured' by someone who acted kinda like he did. Just...a bit more mouthy.
"You can't expect someone to make a decision in two seconds, calm down will ya? We're just trying to help..."
The sitarist looked to Kaleb, whimpering slightly. Honestly he'd do with any plan right now, just so long as Bandages didn't go off on them again.

Kaleb tugged at the bottom of his shirt, glancing between Demyx and Bandages. It wasn't fair that Demyx had to put up with this. The mage wondered if he should suggest they go make sandcastles instead, or go find icecream, but he quickly squelched that amusing thought, it really wouldn't help the situation any.
Instead he took a deep breath, and smiled lopsidedly at the two. "I'm going to go swimming now, I've never swam in the ocean before." Swallowing back his nervousness, he pulled off his shirt and headed towards the beach, revealing a large tattoo of a dragon on his scrawny back. He kind of hoped Demyx would catch up to him before he got to the water's edge, it looked cold...

Bandages would have huffed and given Demyx something to cry about if Kaleb hadn't interupted with his outburst about swimming. Now all this talk about swimming had really made her want to learn now. "H-hey that's no fair! I want to swim!" She whined. "I thought you were going to teach me!"

"We WILL teach you...you just gotta give us a chance..."
Demyx blinked in surprise at Kaleb's dragon tattoo. It was pretty neat looking, but it wasn't something he expected to see on the scrawny mage. Drawing attention to it however, could be considered rude, so Demyx kept his mouth shut on that subject.
"Cmon...let's go get in the water. Just be careful, kay?"
The sitarist walked off towards the surf, glancing back at Bandages to see if she was following.

Kaleb glanced over one shoulder and smiled. "Demyx is right, it's hard to learn to swim if you don't get in the water first."
It was a good thing the little angelic's near-constant tirade was distracting the mage from his nervousness, he was able to walk right up to the water, only stopping just short of the line of damp sand. Another hesitant step would have gotten his feet wet, if he hadn't danced backwards as a wave hit the shore and sent water up the beach.

Speeding ahead of Demyx and stomping in the sand behind Kaleb. She let out a myu. "C'mon dragon-backed Seymour! It's water time!" She squished herself through Kaleb's legs and put her front paws in the water.
Her fur stood on end...
She let out a loud shreak...
And ran back behind Kaleb. "It's not heated!"

Demyx caught up, giggling slightly.
"Of course not silly, it's the ocean afterall..."
The sitarist walked past them, going easily into the water. It's temperature didn't bother him in the least.
"I can warm up, or cool down water, slightly...but I don't think it'd help much in such a large body of it...sorry..."

Kaleb took a deep breath, if Demyx was going in now, he didn't want to get left behind. He stepped forward so the waves hit his ankles, and immediately a shiver ran up his spine and his tail poofed out slightly. "I-It will probably be warmer once we get used to it," he said, trying to reassure himself almost as much as he was trying to reassure Bandages.

Letting out a whine she tiptoed into the water following Kaleb in. "C-c-cold...too cold!" She yipped loudly. "A-are you s-s-sure it'll warm u-up?" Her tail was straight out above the water, frizzed out, due to stress and the chilliness of the water.

"Shhhh..."
Demyx moved closer to Bandages, reaching out a hand to attempt a comforting pet. The touch, if allowed, would also allow him to slightly warm the water clinging to Bandages' fur. That'd help, a bit, at least.
"It'll warm up as you get used to it, promise, your body just has to adjust is all..."
While attempting to help Bandages, Demyx reached his other paw to Kaleb to attempt the same warming touch. He hated seeing his friend and the angelic 'suffer' like this, but there wasn't anything else he could do really.
