Despite hours of near constant bouncing, talking, and just plain squealing in joy, Demyx didn't seem to lose a bit of his energy. Even now, working on what little bit of sleep he had, the sitarist was bouncing in joy.

Unable to wait any longer, Demyx opened a dark portal and bounded through it...

Right into Kaleb's house.

Usually not that rude, it simply didn't occur to Demyx had surprising it'd be to have a portal open up in your house if you weren't very used to the whole teleporting business. So despite the potential harm, Demyx didn't mean a thing by it. Grinning from ear to ear, the sitarist hopped out of his portal and bounced in place for a moment.

"KAAAAAAAALEB! You ready to go to the beach? Huh huh?"

Scanning the room with excitement filled eyes, Demyx attempted to locate his friend. The faster he found him the faster they could go swimming!

Kaleb had woken up that day with an odd feeling in his stomach, and he had fretted about it through breakfast and preparing for his trip until he realized the feeling was excitement. Of course, by that point he had to take something for the new stomach ache that had appeared through his fretting.

The mage had just been stuffing his towel into his backpack when the portal appeared right next to where he was standing. He was still unfamilair with his friend's mode of travel, so the sight wrung a startled yelp out of him as he leapt backwards, flailing and tripping over a particularily tall stack of textbooks.

Catching sight of his friend hopping through the portal calmed his fears, but it would take longer calm his racing heart. "D-Demyx!" He exclaimed from his spot sitting amidst the pile of books. "I-I'm about ready."

Demyx spotted his friend amidst the books, and immediately ran over to help him out.

"I didn't give you a heart attack did I?!"

Fidgeting nervously, the sitarist offered a paw to Kaleb to haul him out of the books.

"I d-didn't mean to scare you! I'm just excited...sorry..."

Kaleb smiled lopsidedly as he let Demyx help him up off the floor. "I'm okay, really," he reassured his friend as he finished shoving his towel into his bag.

"I'm excited too, it's been a long time since I last visited a beach," the mage admitted, his smile turning into a bit of a grin as he slung his bag over his shoulder. He reached to adjust his glasses, and a sheepish expression crossed his face when he remembered that they were safely tucked into his bag, just in case he had a problem with his contact lenses during the day.

He dropped his paw quickly. "Did you want to lead the way?"

"Great! And the beach is awesome, we'll have lots of fun!"

The water mage fidgeted around, watching Kaleb finish his packing.

"Sure I'll lead the way...you wanna walk? Or I could try and teleport us there..."

He scratched at his head thoughtfully, briefly wondering if he could actually get them both there safely. Honestly, he had no idea if he could or not.

Kaleb blinked. "I didn't know you could teleport a... a passenger," he commented, but he wasn't concerned in the least about safety. Demyx wouldn't offer if it were that risky.

"I'm up for either if you are," Kaleb said with a smile. He found magic of any kind fascinating, especially magic that wasn't his own. Besides, he was excited about their trip and that made him just a bit more adventurous than usual.

Demyx nodded, coming to a conclusion on the situation.

"Let's just teleport...we'll get there faster and have more time for fun!"

The sitarist quickly opened a dark portal, eyeing his friend.

"Now...these things are kinda dark, and cold, but I promise it won't hurt you. Just stay near me, kay?"

Grinning, Demyx held out a gloved paw to Kaleb, waiting for his friend to take it before trying to lead him off through the portal.

Kaleb glanced at the portal and nervously licked his lips, dark and cold sounded kind of frightening. He quickly abandoned that train of thought before he lost his nerve, if Demyx said he would be safe, then he would be safe.

"I-I'll stay close," he promised, and took Demyx's paw.

It was a quick 'port really, but for one's first trip through it was probably rather odd. The darkness the Nobodies used to travel around in was a constant swirling black mass. On top of that it was cold...like bone chilling cold. It was one environment the black coats would come in handy.

Soon enough Demyx stepped out of the other end of the portal, leaving the cold darkness behind in exchange for the warm beach.

"We're here!"

Kaleb followed close through the entire trip, and he couldn't help but shiver even as he stepped out onto the warm sand of the beach. Never again would he take the beautiful sun for granted.

"Th-that was quick," the healer commented, giving one last shiver before looking around to get his bearings. He briefly wondered if he could find some way to make portals with his magic, it would be much quicker than taking the bus everywhere.

Bandages was already at the beach, half burried in the sand and happily asleep. She hadn't much liked staying the crounded shop due to many mishaps where she had been 'bullied' according to her, though if you asked everyone else, she was the bully. She'd be hard to spot burried in the sand, except for maybe the sun's reflection off her golden jewlery, maybe wearing the shiny things would be her downfall this day. Though, at the moment, she was snoozing happily with a slight purr coming from her as the sun's warmth washed over her.

Demyx giggled, shutting the portal behind them.

"It's a bit odd to get used to, but a good method of transportation. I didn't like it at first though, but I'm okay with it now..."

Thoughts aside, the sitarist looked around the beach with a happy grin. So far he didn't notice Bandages laying in the sand, but then again his mind was more focused on the surf than the sand.

Kaleb had to agree with Demyx, shuddering a bit as he tried to dislodge the cold still lingering inside him. "Next time we do that, remind me to wear a hat and scarf," the mage said with a smile.

He glanced towards the beach, noting the other people swimming and playing with friends, and judging the depth of the water to be safe for his mediocre swimming skills. The thought of going out into the water made him feel just a little nervous, so he shifted his gaze to the sandy shore and warm sand.

That was when he noticed something glitter brightly from within the sand, and took a half-step towards it trying to figure out what it was.

Bandages shifted in the sand, having it appear as if her jewlery was moving on it's own. She let out a loud purr as she readjusted herself, stretching her body out and adjusting the sand blanket around her. "Mmm...that feels good..." she mumbled in her sleep.

Demyx giggled at the hat and scarf comment. It was a quick trip really, but he could understand being cold through the journey.

The sitarist was about to question Kaleb, wondering why his friend was heading away from the beach, when the shiny jewelry caught his eye as well.

"Ooooo what's that?"

Grinning, the blonde bounced ahead of Kaleb, intent on inspecting the glittering gold in the sand.
