Kaleb nodded, and he would have demonstrated some such magic if he wasn't so nervous about singing in front of others. He enjoyed the singing, and could be quite vocal while alone in his apartment, but it would be impossible for him to get out more than a squeak if he knew someone was listening. "I-I've also heard of magic that requires an instrument, where the spell gestures are formed as different notes are played. I-I've never actually seen any of that myself though."

"That must be really cool ... i think Demyx can do that cause he can make things appear and controll them while he plays but i dont think i can." He was rather convinced that he was completely lacking in the magic department

Kaleb tilted his head, thinking about it. "I don't know, he seems to be able to use his magic even without playing. But that could just be a different type of magic." He glanced over at Vivace, curling his tail around his ankles. "Did you learn to play on your own, or were you taught?"

"yea i think he can do both cause he can make water things without music but he can controll them with music too."
He ran his fingers over his guitar as his tail began to wag again. "I learned by myself. I think Dad's kinda jealous that i can play too cause he was the only one who could before and now i can but he shouldnt be cause Father still likes his playing better anyway"

Kaleb couldn't help but smile, Vivace certainly took after his dad. "Have you ever thought of playing with Demyx as a duet? I would think that would be more fun than playing alone."

Kaleb nodded. "He might learn something from you too." Despite his rather solitary lifestyle and almost neurotic personality, the mage preferred working with others. He knew very well that learning could work both ways.

"You think so?" He was quiet for a moment but it didnt last long.
"That would be nice then maybe he wouldnt be jealous of me, but then again that could make him more jealous cause i knew something he didnt but i wont know until i ask will i so i should ask."

Kaleb was quickly getting used to the long babbled sentances. "Maybe if you guys play together for a bit, he'll forget to be jealous. If he enjoys playing with you, he'll probably be glad you are as good as you are." He frowned as he noticed a small smudge on his glasses, and took them off so he could gently rub it away using the corner of his shirt.

"That could fun. Then we could play for Father and that would make him happy cause he likes it when us kids figure something out that we can do."
He paused for a moment to breath as Kaleb took off his classes. "You're eyes are a pretty color." He tilted his head slightly. "They are even prettier than my guitar and i thought that was the coolest color of blue ever"

Kaleb was about to reply when Vivace's compliment caught him completely off guard. He glanced up with a surprised expression and blushed brightly, even forgetting to put his glasses back on for a second. "Th-thanks, I-I n-never really thought about it..." He glanced away looking rather flustered, and quickly returned his glasses to his nose.

He was still grinning like he'd made a comment about the weather or something equaly mundane. "You cant seen them as good with the glasses so you probably never noticed. Maybe if i unstrung my guitar i coud put a clear coat on it and it woud make the color better than it might look that pretty"
He frowned down at the guitar for a moment while his tail flopped onto the grass beside him

Kaleb still blushed and fidgeted a bit. "I-I have seen my eyes without my glasses, but I-I r-really never thought much about their colour." He glanced over at the blue guitar, kind of wondering how Vivace could think his eyes were nicer than that particular colour.
