Lily looked at this Tazzy in surprise. "Why, we might have! I visited my aunt there many times. Where did we meet, my memory fails me. And I'm not sure what you mean about fearing you all; I did spill my tea though, may I have more?" She looked around again, taking more caution in her examinations and noticed a girl in the wood watching them. "Um, there's someone waching us from over there. I just noticed her," she added, looking at the guy who seemed to be in charge.

Lord Mykal watched the exchange between the ladies with an air of amusement tinged with a bit of irritation at the girl with the cougar. Were the situation any different, he would see to it that she parted ways with the group. He was lost in his thoughts for a moment when he realized that the last statement had been directed at him. He turned and in the direction the girl indicated and observed the Princess watching from the cover of the foliage. He shrugged and spoke. "In this domain, I cede my authority to my Queen. For she was a Queen of this realm long before she was my bride. And I can assure you, that she is more than ready to confront whatever evil grips this land." He held out a hand and helped Elemayne rise.

"Ladies, all bickering aside. There is a growing evil in the North that threatens to destroy everything we hold dear. A dark wizard has all but taken control of the known Kingdoms. He is enslaving the people and my sources indicate he is attempting to open a portal to the Underworld. We will need more Allies but it is still possible to defeat him"

"I intend to find this man and destroy him before he gets the portal open. "

She remained standing, expecting questions.

Tamalynn felt the amulet grow hot against her skin as she stepped out of the trees and went to stand near Elemayne. She would hold her tongue about this red headed woman for now, as well as her judgement.
Grasping Elemaynes hand in her own, she asked what their next move might be.

Elemayne snickered at the girl Lily's comment. "And I'm a four legged dwarf, my dear" she replied. She paused as Zanzara reentered the camp followed by a young man who was, she thought, rather unsavory looking.

Mykal watched the young man enter the camp behind the crazy girl. He kept one eye on Elemayne to see if she was alarmed by the strangers presence. If alerted, he would do what was necessary to eliminate the threat.

Once she felt Zanzara was within listening range, She turned to the Princess and spoke. "To answer your question, my dear. It would seem that you are to play quite a big part in the battles to come. Although it appeared to us all that you teleported us to this forest, the truth is that you teleported and the forest brought us here." She paused to let the thought sink in. "To the two of you that have only recently joined us, you are not where you think you are. We are not where you think you found us. I can only assume that the forest brought you here because you too will play a part in the struggle. Tamalynn, Tazzy, Zanzara, Lily, and you Steven must now choose. You must go into the forest. Each of you alone and be tested. I cannot tell you how you will be tested for I do not know. It is different for everyone. If you are found worthy, You will find your way back to the camp, perhaps a little wiser than you are now. If you are unworthy, you will find yourself at the edge of the forest with no memory of who you are or what is to come. I hope to see everyone of you return. We will head North at first light tomorrow." Once again, she sat down. Still expecting questions but knowing that she had no answers.

"The forest will show you what you need to know" Elemayne solemnly responded. "If you are worthy."

"And if you are truly a nursemaid as you say then I can only believe that one will be needed in our quest." Added Lord Mykal

Tazzy smiled at Elemayne and Mykal. She picked up her knapsack, shook Max and walked off into the forest.

"Elemayne said that we would have to pass a test to prove if we are needed. Well, Max off we go. Whatever happens we shall succeed. I know that we are needed. We have passed many a test, this will be no different. We will head north. The north is ours. Oh Max, this will be wonderful. We will stay together, no running ahead now. We need each other, my prince."

"Yes my princess, together, we will always be together." Max mindspoke to Tazzy as the continued to walk toward the north.

From high above in the trees, sat a woodland sprite. No one was aware that the whole time they had been eating, they were being watched. Her name is Zola. Her hair looks like the leaves of the trees and she is able to camouflage herself quite well. Being very curious, she cannot help but wonder about these strange creatures. For now, she will stay her distance...
