((28-25=3. 38-3=35.)) Quo once again was able to mostly jump out of the way, but one of the vines hit him in the chest, making him gag. He rolled to his feet, readying his weapon,a rope dart hidden in his sleeve. Meanwhile, Pako put his fingers to the guitar. "Heh...now I'm mad."

Quo made a motion as if he were rolling a bowling ball but when he brought his hand forward, a large blade with a rope attatched to it sped towards the vine creature. At the same time, Pako played a series of very harsh sounding notes at once, sending a particularly nasty wave of energy at the opponent.

Pako's guitar blast would knock the creature back, making Quo's attack miss. Using his mind, however, Quo makes his blade turn, the rope catching onto the vine monster. The force makes the blade keep wrapping, tying the monster up as it got closer and closer, like a tetherball being slowly wrapped around a pole. Then, when there was no more string, the blade stabbed right into the center of the vine monster, the force of the wrope squeezing it tightly so its fluids would pour out of the wound.

All the plants were now gone, vanished on thin air with colorful clouds of magic.

The vines retreat and the forest begins to look a little bit less dark, some could say more friendly, but something wasn't right still.

Lute tightened her grip on her flail, her eyes narrowing as she made sure her helm was secure...

Both Quo and Pako sensed this too. Quo quickly pulled his weapon back and it dissapeared up his sleeve while Pako backed against Lute. "S-something's wrong."

Lute growled softly and picked Pako up, perching him atop her head once more and flicking her ears this way and that.

"Something tells me those three were the least of our troubles..."

Mage-Eating Magnolia

The forest shivered, it's vines began to crawl above threes, under the soil, everywhere, the forest moving faster, wildly. The threes bent and twitched, displaying the center of that disturbance, a huge plant creature, with beautifully colored petals, semi-human body, attached to a gargantuan three with several tentacles where vines and flowers sprouted. In the center there was large flower, bigger then a man, with several pointy thorns in the center, as if forming a monstrous mouth.
It twitched, danced and whipped it's vines around, cutting the plants around fiercely with it's sword like thorns. It unleashed a wicked scream, like hundreds of souls in deep pain, then shot it's vines in direction of the party.

*The two stand frozen besides you. Then, Quo speaks, in a soft voice* ...Are you gonna eat that? Cause I sure would like to...

Lute gaped at the plant - holy s**t! They were supposed to kill...THAT!? Lute turned to Quo, blinking.

"That thing is huge!"

The plant danced, shook it's leafs and a magical energy came through it's veins, appearing on the surface as bright blue lines that came all the way from two spherical organs on the ground of the forest to the center of the flower, as if canalizing some sort of magical energy from them.

The plant didn't attacked, only sucked the bulbs while shacking it's body faster and faster, releasing small dots of floating magical energy.
