Risika frowns looking between Estelle and Cozork,"Either we are too weak or too strong, this is the discrimination we have lived with for centuries. Everyone thinking they know us,yet you know nothing! We will no longer be shunned by you or anyone!" Risika said eyes blazing. "Marriage is the only way to truly guarantee acceptance. The interbreeding of our kinds will unite us in a blood bond and there is nothing stronger."

"you have only been outcasts for so long because you have chosen not to do anything about it, and now you do choose to act upon it and you go about it in a completely poor way"

cozork debated putting the stone down, he might need the demon strenth inside him if she got violent ((no problem, not sure how long i can stay awake though, its nearly 3am already))

"no problem, its the least i can do" Red said. she turned around to see Risika was speaking and gave a low growl only Red herself could hear. she was being as nice as she could towards her, but there was something...odd...that red felt about her. it was enough to set her off alittle. but she wasn't in the mood for a fight, not with the news she had that kept her up all night.

"We have never been accepted, despite efforts. Just this week my brother was killed by those who hate us for our differences. We will no longer allow this to happen! We are no longer simply your assassins or night walkers. We will be accepted or you all will find out how truly skilled we are!" Risika flushed a bright pink on her pale skin, her eyes bright.

"calm down. im not in charge around here but your people can always come to where mine are. we're a collection of outcasts, strays, runaways, etc. we have demons living with angels, and everything in between. im sure they will accept your kind there." she said, trying to keep up her cheerful attitude. she put her hand in one of her hidden pockets and lightly touched the lunar shaped necklace she had hidden in there.

"im from this little village that lives in a hollowed out mountain. it sounds weird but its a very beautiful place, especially at night when the crystals in the caves reflect the beautiful moonlight over our village. im pretty sure as long as you don't go upsetting anybody, they would let you stay. you're gonna have to wait a bit to visit, nows not the best time and the villagers aren't in their best mood..." she said, remembering the Crystalmail she recived

Estelle looked at this Risika woman. She obviously couldn't understand the gravity of what she was saying.
"Look," Estelle said angrily, "You presume discrimination against your people, though that is not the case. My people never deny trading routes, so if that is what you wanted, you should have come to us. But interbreeding of a non-human tribe into ours would kill us. It is nothing against your people, but simply about the weakness of mine. Now, if you want intermarriage, I will have to talk to my clan, but we WILL take precautions against breeding."
((I'll be leaving for two days, so Estelle needs to talk to her Clan. ^-^ ))

cozork woke up feeling a whole lot calmer. he had a strange headache, and that kind of 'what happened yesterday' feeling.
he felt much more in control of himself. his human essence nearly fully restored he felt much better. he smiled as he looked around.
"i wonder what will happen today"
he thought to himself

Rose nearly fell over herself hurrying into the room. She looked around frantically, and found Cozork sitting a few yards away. He still seemed a little demon-like, but most of it had passed. He seemed happy and in good shape, nothing around seemed damaged. She ran over to him and and gave him a big bear-hug before kissing his cheek ligthly.
"You okay?" she asked "I was so worried, I couldn't sit still the entire meeting! I kept thinking the worst possible outcomes. And I was so scared and... I'm so sorry!" she broke off her frantic chanting and calmed down a bit, but still stood uncomfortably straight. She stared into his different, violent, orange-red eyes. They weren't as frightening as she would have thought they could be, because deep inside she still saw his old eyes glancing back at her with kindness.

as Rose entered the room cozork looked up
he was happy to see her again, he felt a little more whole once more.
he was about to say something when she pounced on him in one lightening fast manouver and began to frantically explain everything.
when she had finished cozork let out a little chuckle
"i'm good thanks. last night was a little strange but i'm mostly back to my usual self"
"sorry to have worried you, how did the meeting go?"
he blushed a little when she kissed him.
i guess the human in him was still there after all.
he smiled and kissed her back.

Rose was finally able to relax when hearing Cozork's words, and understanding that he was not just saying it to try and calm her down. "That's good to hear" she said. She sat down beside him and began talking about how she hadn't really paid attention to what the tribe coucil members had said and that they had totally freaked out and tried to get her to stay home when she told them about Risika .
"Of course I didn't listen to them. Though Risika is powerful I don't think she's as evil as she wants us to think--and I couldn't just abandon you." She grinned friendly at him before continuing "They are really catious now, though, and don't want me too involved 'You just stay and watch' they said. But I guess that won't happen, right? I'd never be able to 'just stay and watch' if a fight or important arbument were to break out" Rose sighed, a little tired from talking so much. After opening her mouth she had just kept going without thinking. Talking and talking and talking.

cozork mulled over what Rose said, he thought the way she was acting was a little humerous. not in a foolish way, but more of a kind of cute thing.
"i doubt things will go quite as smoothly as i desire, and it doesn't seem likely that any of us will just be able to sit back and watch"
she shared his opinion of Risika too.
"it seems to me that Risika just wants to be accepted so she is trying to appear as important as she can"
he thought it a shame that Risika had to act like that, if she had been more friendly, cozork would have welcomed her to his tribe.

"Great now that I'm with you" she smiled. She was happy that Cozork agreed with her on so much. "then at least I know I'm not crazy to think it" she thought as she stroked his arm.
"I wonder when the others will arrive" she thought aloud and glanced around as if it would summon them somehow.
