Ryu quickly left fallowing after the girl but keeping his distance to observe her. He would approach her when he knew they could be alone but untill that time came he would fallow without being seen he had taken to the rooftops hopping from one to the other after the girl.

Stopping at the edge of town she straightened at the sound of footsteps, a handfull of rough-looking men encircling her, wicked grins as they slowly came closer. Adjusting Traiza to rest his head on her shoulder she raised her arm and a small breeze began to ruffle her cloak though no wind could be felt. SUddenly they were pitched backward, some flattened leaving dark smears against walls others thrown back far enough to run away. Dusting her hands off she rested her hand on the baby's head, shielding him from the sun as she gently rocked him

Watching the display of her power told him she either had the wind or gravity shard. Ryu drew out his bow as he saw one of the guys from behind her think that he had her off gaurd. why were some people stupid enough to still attack after displays of power like that but then again he probably would have her if....
his arrow sliced the the air as if it was nothing and took the guy in the back of the head. Ryu hoped the child was not awake to see that grewsome of a sight. His weapons dissapeared again and he made his way closer but still hiding. he would make himself known soon very soon.

Toni called without so much as looking up from tending to the baby. Finally turning around she stared at where he was attempting to hide from her and motioned him forward
"Its dificult to hide from me, you're disturbing the gravitational pull of things here. Come forward so I may see you properly"
Slowly Traiza opened his eyes and began to cry. Sighing she stuck her thumb in his mouth for lack of a pacifier for him. He sucked on her thumb sleepily before going back to his deep slumber
"Extreme heat is just as bad for youa s the cold is, isn't it, little one"

So it was the gravity shard that this girl held, and she amazed him at how she wielded it being able to sense the shifts in gravity. Well he couldn't just stand in the shadows anymore thinking she would just go away. As he stepped out he took off his hood so that she could see who he really was.
"Your good, I must apologize for being so secretive I didn't want to frighten you and have you lash out at me when not knowing who I was. Alow me to introduce myself. I am Ryuinjin a protector of the shards, And you are?"

Turning around completely to face him she gave a smile grin
"Antonia, holder of the gravity shard, but I prefer to be called Toni. If I may ask, what're you doing out here in the desert and why are you following me?"

"Well Toni, what I'm doing out here in the desert is... I just had to start my search somewhere and for why I am fallowing you is exactly what I said I am. I sensed you had one of the elemental shards but I wasn't sure of which one and was going to approach you as soon as possible. We wouldn't want those shards to fall in the wrong hands now would we question "
Ryu then looked around as if he felt he was being watched which was true he did feel there were eyes on them or at least some ears. Maybe it was just the setting of the place that got to him. Dark, quite, trash everywhere, the occasional scream in the distance, drunks wandering around or pukeing off to the side.
"You would not happen to know of a place more... secluded question "

"And who'd definition of 'the wrong hands' are we going by"
Giving a wicked grin she looked down at Traiza as he opened his eys and began to wail, thrashing his small fists
"I just fed you and now you're hungry again? Good grief if I had that kind of money I'd feed you every hour on the hour. You'l just have to wait a little longer"
Bouncing him lightly he seemed to settle a little at her words as she turned around and motioned Ryu to follow her
"If you're wanting to speak in a more secluded place then follow me or else stay here and ejoy the wonderous sights of Calamity. I guarantee if you stand there long enough you yourself may very well be mugged"
Leading the way out into what looked like strickly desert area she kicked at the sand until a strange trap door strung open and a flight of stairs descended into darkness. Inside was a large cave, cooled and calm if not quiet in comparison but suprisingly it was almost completely filled from wall to wall with jewels and valuable metals. Taking out a small sack she filled it. A few others were sitting around lazily playing what looked like cards of some sort accompanied by a handful of small children
"Welcome to the most comfortable seclusion there is here in the desert"
Motioning to a table nearby she sat down and got comfortable
"Have a seat"

Ryu strode after her and before decending down the stairway looked back and did a quick magical sweep to make sure no one would see there hideout. Though once he decended the secret stairway he learned that this wasn't that big of a secret but it would do, he figured as much that they would not have to worry about anyone seeing as how Toni seemed to trust the people down here. Apon gazing at the walls this place looked as if it could have been a dragons cave at one time except the fact that it was far to small to house one of his kind. He sat down looking around one last time before settleing on Toni.
"Ok well the 'wrong hands' as I put it earlier is simply put as anyone who would want to use the shards for evil, world domination, greed, you get my point I think. Something terrible has happend here not to long ago and I was sent here to find out just what that was. So far nothing but I'll bet my treasure that it has to do with those shards its all that it could be. Do you know of anyone else who has them?"

Sitting up and leaning over the table slowly she stared with rapt attention
"Terrible event..."
Standing up and walking around the table she knelt down and leaned in to stare directly into his face before shaking his head. Standing up she turned Traiza to face the room, his giggle making everyone smile as his little wings beat against her arms
"Describe this event for me and if you can, use names and things of that nature. I'm not entirely sure we're both thinking about the same thing"

"Thats the thing, 'WE'RE' not even sure ourselves. It's like a dream but your not sure if it was a dream or if it was real. But all that I can think about is an explosion so big that it shook the entire planet. To tell you the truth we have no clue so I'm starting from ground zero and looking for 'anything' as to give us a clue to prevent it, if it happend, from happening again."

Resting her head in one hand as she balanced Traiza she sighed a name
"Void..."
Looking up she just stared blankly at him
"As far as I know the danger is past, there is no more threat to the planet, your 'we' has no real purpose to serve. If I may suggest, get a day job, it helps to pass the time"
Standing up she dug in her bag and pulled out a bottle, popping it into the baby's mouth as he began to cry again
"I don't mean offense but... describe to me this dream, your purpose in it. I may know of someone you could try to find to have your 'dream' better explained to you" Flopping down on the floor she held Traiza in the crook of her arm and stared up from the cool floor at him

"The dream is exactly how I explained it but if there is anything I know its that history will always repeat itself and unless this terrible thing has happend before which I nor any of my race know about then it will happen again but when is the question."
Ryu sat back against the wall and downed the rest of his drink. He had to figure out where the rest of the shard holders were and try his best to make sure none of he demons got ahold of them.

Hanging her head Toni mumbled quietly
"It'll repeat itself if Void ever reappears..."
Solemnly she leaned across the table, inches away from Ryu's face before nodding
"Maybe I was wrong to say that you didn't serve a purpose. Right now you don't have anything to fight against but suddenly I'm thinking you will someday. Void... do you know who I speak of?"

((I am very sorry i have not posted in a long time work plus a car accident invoving 4 different cars can be very nerve wracking, should be on more now))
Ryu turned the word around in his head searching his memory trying to figure out if he did infact know the name not off the top of his head obviously ... no he thought he did not know the name. He didn't even know that word was used as a name but it didn't sound very peaceful.
"No I don't ever recall hearing that name. Sounds terrible, if you don't mind I would like to know about this person."
