he leant on her a little, he was happy that he had found himself in this situation fate was a strange thing.
he registered the 'with you' part of what she said.
no one had ever said that to him before. it made him smile
"i have no idea. it seems that they still have a lot to resolve though"
that reminded him. he still had his own clan to resolve, he had almost forgotten the assassination that was due to be carried out on his clans behalf.
his heart sank a little

Rose felt Cozork suddenly grow sad because of something. She leant closer to him. "What's wrong?" she mind-transferred, now that they had built up their connection fully again it happened so naturally. Their auras were once more completely connected.

"my father is still going to be killed"
cozork looked up at herhe could feel that their aura had almost become one.
he didn't know what to do, he would never admit that though, because deep down he knew that it was either his fathers life or a war. and one life for the sake of many was the right thing to do.
"i never particularly liked him, but he is still my father"
cozork felt the urge to lie down, he let himself fall gently on her and curled his legs up into the fetal position. he was tired and his human half was weak. but there was no way he would revert to his demonic side.

Rose understood what was happening, but was in no hurry to stop it. She let him guide her any way he wanted.
She felt his grief over having to lose his father, and there was a slight pain in her chest, but it could not even compete with the other feelings hanging in the air. Another time she might have talked with him about it, but now she just couldn't. There was too much else happening right now.

cozork was confused, he had so many thoughts running through his mind. it took him a few moments, but he managed to focus on what was happening this very moment.
there was nothing he could do and it was the right decision to make, he knew that, he just had to accept it and keep going on his journey. he was unsure what would happen next but he didn't care.
now that his mind was out of those thoughts he realised how foolish he looked curled up like that. he must have looked like a house cat. he sat up a little and looked at Rose, stroking her hand lightly
"i'm sorry Rose, i know now is not the time for mourning"

Rose carefully put her hand in Cozork's. "It's okay. This is just the way things goes, and no matter which feelings, you should always stay true to yourself with them. If mourning is what you need to do, you should. We can do other things later, keeping this back now will only make things worse afterwards."
She smiled friendly at him and kissed him again, then gave him a gentle hug, barely touching, but still sending him caring thoughts. "It'll be okay" she whispered, and honestly believed it. Things would turn out fine, one way or another. She could feel it.

her thought were soothing, he couldnt help but feel a little better. he knew thing would be ok in the end, and being reassured of that made him feel safe in that knowledge.
he held onto Rose a little, he could feel her aura all around him, it was nurturing him in a strange way. it was like nothing he had ever known. after all, the few kitsune he had ever met before her had tried to kill him.
his aura was fading from the dark black slowly into his favourite colour again.
"thank you. i... i can't say how happy i am to have met you"

"I know" Rose whispered "It's something beyond words". She knew exactly what Cozork was talking about, as she felt the same for him. She hugged him a little tighter when his aura slowly started to turn purple again, and kept him close. She could have stayed like this forever.

Risika wandered into the room, garbed in a short silver tunic that showed off the silver tribal tattoos running the length of her arms and legs. She practically pranced in the room, before realizing anyone was there. As soon as she saw Cozork and Rose she immediately sobered and frowned. They didn't understand her plight, that her people were dying while they refused her demands. A slight grin forms on her face when she remembers her fathers decree. If they wouldn't accept her clan's demands, then the others would soon find themselves dying as well. While Risika didn't condone a blood bath, she understood where her father was coming from when he said, "If you can't join them, kill them."
She would likely regret the deaths of these people, probably as much as she might enjoy them. Perhaps she should try another tact in order to sway their opinions...friendly. She shivered slightly at the thought and then forced a bright smile on her face. She wouldn't let her guard down, but she would try anything for her people.

"there was not a place in the world i would rather be right now"
he wasn't sure what to say, he wanted to know what would happen, but he didn't want to end the moment, so he just sat there and relexed with her. he gave her a light kiss and smiled.
he sent her a few thoughts of happiness and tranquility.
he felt like he belonged here. which was the only thing he really desired for himself all of his life.
he had never belonged with humans because of the demon inside him. and demons had a tendancy to see him as weak and 'kind hearted' (which is a huge insult to pure blooded demons)
with Rose however, he felt like he was just himself. he could be who he really wanted to.
cozork felt Risika's presence in the room. his senses fluctuated, but he decided to let her speak before he did ((haha, no its cool xD))

Rose enjoyed the moment. This was the best thing that had ever happened to her in the 260 years she had lived. His kiss made her heart flutter and she could feel it long after his lips had left her skin. She was happy
Then Rose noticed Risika's dark aura as she enetered. She reluctantly pulled her gaze from Cozork and watched the woman step inside the room. "Hi, how are you?" she said hoarsely, she had gotten so used to talking with her mind that her voice had gotten weird. Rose tried her best to smile friendlily at Risika, but it was hard when the person she tried to smile to probably wouldn't think twice about killing them. Rose sighed faintly

"Enough! No more violence while I'm here," Silver nearly screamed. She stormed in, looking for the cause of the bloody aura. When she saw it was Risaka, her eyes dulled, disappointed.
"I have felt violence within this castle. I have felt blood spill these stones." Queen Silver wearily sat down, feeling her burden. "If there is any more blood for no good reason, I will have to challenge the causer to a duel. Yes, melodramatic, but the King has complained. He has felt the pain and blood."
Queen Silver swept out, and as she did, she said, "I will be watching. You have been warned. I would hate to kill any of you, and I'd also hate to be killed."

Risika eyed the couple all cozy together and considered leaving, then smiled a little more mischievously. Just because she was being nice, didn't mean she had to be -that- nice. Grinning brightly she saunters her way into the rest of the room and says a suspiciously chipper, "Hello!" Smiling she practically dances her way to the table to scrounge up some food. Finding only some wine, she downs it rather quickly and commences to staring at Cozork and Rose grinning ear to ear.
Risika's smile slowly disappears as she watches the queen, her predatory nature showing through the happy mask. It is obvious that she would welcome the fight.
Risika just shrugs and forces the smile once more back one, but her hand finds it way to her dagger at her waist.

cozork was unsure what she was up to but he knew Risika must be finding it hard to be this happy. it looked a little unnatural.
he would play along though... for now.
as the queen burst in, it made him jump a little.
he listened to her message and knew that that may be an incentive for Risika to stay peaceful, but then perhaps she looked forwards to the fight.
"hello yourself" cozork spoke in a light happy tone of voice
"how are you today?"

Rose was stunned at the sight of the Queen and then suddenly felt very sleepy. She slowly fell asleep on Cozork's shoulder.
