Adenine looked up to the sky, the sun nearly having gone down, and knew her sister would have her go someplace safe soon, since neither of them could navigate in the dark very well. Starting down an alleyway, Ty not too far in front of her, she still struggled to keep up, Ty oh so fast and with her bag she was so much slower. In fact, her entire life had always been catching up to Ty, and her elder sister thought it was best to just keeping going instead of waiting, making Adenine stronger. While it did make her more determined to become better, she took great emotional pain from such incidents, still not always understanding why her clever, intelligent sister did the things she did. Loosing ground on her sister again, she stopped short in her tracks, looking down a darker alleyway, for something had caught her aquamarine eyes. There was a taller man sitting on the ground, his head bent down and his breathing audible from where she was. Walking down the stone pavement softly, her heavy bag dropping from her shoulder, she spoke up, coming closer.
"Um...Sir? Excuse me, but are you alright? You look like you need a doctor...do you want help?"
She got closer and close, her silken white, wavy hair falling over her shoulders as she only had to lean over a little. Her eyes widened, seeing he had white hair like her too, but he really did not look well, so she started reaching for him. One would think no one would have to be in an alleyway when it could start raining anytime in such a large city. His skin was much darker then hers as well she noted, reaching out to find her very pale skin was in sharp contrast with his own as she reached. She hoped he was going to be alright, but for some reason a few of the nerves in her wings were stinging, like this was an alchemist, but, no alchemist would be in a place like this willingly, would they?

Michiko had been exploring central for two days now and decided to report back to Colonel Mustang tomorrow to see if her transfer papers were in order. If they weren't ready to go she would try to make sure that they would get in order by the following day herself. "Now back to the present"she thought. "Now that I kind of know central I guess I can start looking for Scar. I wonder where he was last seen. Well time to start looking for cules. So Michiko went and asked around where he was last seen and she was told one answer..........NOTHING. No one would tell her anything so she decided that she would ask Colonel Mustang today and talk to him about the transfer papers today(this just goes to show you how impatiant she is), so she made her way towards colonel mustang's office.
When she arrived there the first thing that came out of her mouth was, "Where is Scar!?! No one will tell me ANYTHING!"she then relized that she was yelling and making a very big comtion. "Oh s**t" she thought then said"Sorry sir.......i was just a bit worked up.......are my papers in order yet?"

Mustang Blinked oddly at the girl, then Quietly said to her."Ok....Yes Here are your papers,And since the Fuhrer has gone off,I'm sure you'd want to go search for Scar now dont you.But.......I cant let you go off and look for him alone,Its far too dangerous even for an expert such as yourself. So when you have found someone to accompany you,Then you may search for scar....I'd come with you,but I'm stuck here till the fuhrer comes back."So Roy Handed Michiko her State Pocket watch and Gave her Directions on where she could get her State uniform.

She had a mixed look of disapointment and anger on her face but did as she was told. She took the watch and directions from his hand and said "Thank you sir.....um....sir....can you recomend someone to me?.....I mean to accompany me of course, because i would like to start searching for Scar as soon as possible."

Scar stood up and brushed her hand off to the side. "Don't touch me." He muttered in a soft tone as he stared up at the night sky and remembered his encounter with Matt the other night. "What time is it?" He asked the girl and stared at her calmly, his pair of shades hiding his pair of red eyes. His X shaped scar was visible from the moon above.
Softly he massaged his right hand with his left and then cracked a few knuckles before turning to the side to stare off down the dark alley. Even though it was pitch black and he wore shades, he could still see better than many others.

Matt continued to sneak around towards the stairs that would take him to the first floor. Unfortunitly atleast three guards were walking about, waveing their lanters about as they tried to scout the dark shadows which shrouded most of the inside of the building.
Quietly he reached the steps and peered over the edge, seeing one guard move away and another take that one's place. Matt began to notice the clock work finding a way to get passed it. Slowly he crawled along the stairs, ducking under the railing to avoid being seen.

Adenine made the tiniest sound of dismay as her hand was brushed away firmly by a very big hand, the man seemingly towering over her. He felt so strong, yet it was obvious he was hurt. His words were not harsh at least, as she sighed in relief softly, having expected a reprimand, but she looked up to the sky too as he did, wondering what he was looking at, but always loving the beauty of the night sky. In the dark, she stood out horribly, a light spot in the dark, and probably in mist she would look like a ghost. At his question though her hands quickly moved to a small silver pocket watch that hung on a chain around her neck, clicking the snap lock on it open an squinting slightly to see. Replying quickly, she closed her watch again.
"It's 7:42 right now, does that help any?"
She looked back up to find him staring at her, a little overpowered by his gaze even if she could not see his eyes, rather dark glasses hiding them. With as little light as there was, she wondered if he was blind.
Worried again as she saw a rather deep looking scar on his face, a sharp rise of compassion arose in her, since she hated it when people were hurt, although a motion he had been doing so automatically she had not caught it at first, she noted he was holding his right hand like it hurt too. Wincing at the cracking sound, since extensive study of body functions with her sister had taught her that readjusting bones against cartilage like that caused bone weakening at a younger age, she stared in the direction he was, naturally curious. Piping up again, her voice still quite light, she knew she had lost her sister temporarily, but she still had concern for a person who acted like they were sick.
" Are you sure I am unable to help? If you don't like to be touched I could still try to lessen whatever discomfort you are feeling..."
She put her hands together, already searching around for the alchemy that would let her find out what was hurting this man, although she had a feeling it was head trauma by how he had been holding his head when she first saw him. Her sister had taught her most about human alchemy, so she was rather good at healing, not so good at fighting though when her sister was not around.

Riza quickly wrote several things down then she let her hands fall to her side. "If you would excuse my interrruption sir..."Riza then spoke to Michiko. "I would suggest Madison, or Armstrong. Elric is not present at the moment or he would be going with you."

Scar grunted. "I don't need your help and no I'm not in pain. I'm just recooperating for lost time." He thought nothing of the watch but quickly looked in the direction of the 1st Branch Library. "If I were you, I would stay out of my way, incase if you're a State Alchemist." With that he darted off towards the library, leaving nothing but dust. His red eyes focused in the direction of the State Head Quaters.

Adenine backed up a step, her attempt to help being forced away again, with her loss of concentration she lost the tracer alchemy she had been about to perform. But how could a person lose time? He seemed to be getting better though, still looking around in a nearly anxious way.
"Good, I was really worried for you...if you say so..."
She spoke softly, her eyes going to the ground. His pain was not the kind she could fix like bones could be fixed, and muscles could be repaired. His pain was the emotional kind that just kept getting worse, something that killed more people then anything else. Then her gaze shot back up to him at the warning, of course being a little confused, not understanding why he would say such a thing. Why would a State Alchemist need to stay out of his way? Before he had started moving, she had lowered her head, still not understanding, but suddenly sad again.
"But I am going to become a State Alchemist...I need to help a person..."
With that he was gone then, plenty of time to have heard her words, but he was obviously quite busy.
Her attitude was climbing again though, since she could not be sad for long. Bending to the ground, and then walking in small circles, she found her bag again. Her sister would be perched somewhere resting, so she was on her own. Stepping back out onto the secondary street, she started wandering through the dark, calling out for her sister quietly; sure the other had to be around someplace, her bag really cutting into her shoulder.
"Ty?...Ty?...where are you?"

Matt continued to sneak around through the shadows. Every now and then he would peek over the railing to spot a grunt approaching then he would quickly duck to avoid being seen. So far his stealth skills were working one hundred percent.
A soft crey could be heard and slowly Matt took a peek only to see Scar half in the light and half in the shadows; holding one of the guards by the neck and useing alchemy. He cought the words of the killer, "You're not my enemy." With that Scar dropped the body of the guard and stepped back so his whole body was now hidden in the shadows. Once he had left Matt approached the guard only to see him still breathing.
"Must of rattled his brain to unconsious mode." Matt wispered.
A soft creeking sound could be heard from behind him, followed by a familiar voice. "So, did you find it or have you decided to look today?" asked Scar.
Matt stood up and looked at him. Slowly the alchemist pulled out a book, "I need to find out who checked this out last. Something doesn't fit." The piece of folded paper fell out which Scar quickly bent down to grab. The Ishbalan unfolded it and then read it carefully.
"Seems whoever checked it out was already under the suspicion that Kasumi was indeed an Homunculi." Scar wispered and looked down at the guard who was in a state of complete unconsciousness. The grunt wouldn't awaken for a couple hours. Scar looked at Matt to see him raise an eyebrow. "I guess you didn't piece together the information. Kasumi...I encountered who two nights ago and she's not human. Forge, the State is under the control of a corrupt Homunculi. Not to mention your friend...Johnathin...he's one of them as well" He wispered.
The Alchemist stood there confused. "..."
Scar grunted and grabbed the book from Matt as he opened it and began to read. Once satisfied with what he read he opened it to Matt to the passage he currently glanced at. "A Homonuclis is created through failed attempts at human alchemy. Though they may bare a human form, they have no soul and no memory of how they were created." He seemed to recall the ninja speaking about his past fluently. He continued, "It's almost as if Johnathin was willing to become one. Though I don't know how."
"Wait, so you're telling me, some souless demon is in control of the military?" Matt thought about it for a moment. "That's odd because she seems to act under emotions and for the sake of friends and the state. Her hatred is only towards you." He added.
"You're right, she must be looking for something. That or extreamly good at keeping a low profile." Scar replied.
Matt was silent for a moment before continueing, "And John...we gotta find out about John."
"Stryph...." Scar interrupted.
"Huh?" Questioned Matt.
Scar stood there for a moment stareing down at his right arm and rolled down his sleeve. "A Homunculis is a sin, Johnathin now takes the name of Stryph. Obviously something is going down, that must mean there could be others." Said the Ishbalan.
Matt nodded in agreement and then looked around, gripping the book and then looked at Scar, who emediatly vanished out of sight. "Ehhhh...whoa...didn't know you were that fast." Wispered Matt as he went back into stealth mode and hunched down, making his way towards the front desk.
There at the front desk Matt noticed the girl sleeping instead of watching. Other guards continued to move about the library, holding their lanterns infront of them.
Quickly Matt reached up and snatched the list of books which dated all the way back to last week. It was then brought to his attention that Jenkins did in fact check the book out last, which ment he suspected something in the State. As curious as Matt was, he was starting to think that he was indeed sticking his nose too far into the rabbit hole, but he wasn't going to hold back now.
Quietly Matt placed the page of check out lists back on the top of the desk, as well as the book. However, unknown to anybody, Matt had already copied down everything he needed to know, as well as keeping the pages of notes, and the state newspaper.
Then, with that, Matt snuck his way back to the second floor; not before glanceing at the guard who was knocked out by Scar. He continued up the stairs and then went up into the addict, quickly escapeing out the top window only to catch Scar waiting for him. Scar's sudden appearence even scared him so he fell back onto the muddy ground and grumbled.
Scar cought a glimpse of Matt's Pocketwatch and glared, he had almost forgot his purpose in this world and the sight of the watch had brought that memory back. Matt however quickly pocketed it.
"So why do they call you the Forge Alchemist?" asked Scar.
"Well it's light this." Matt brought up his right hand showing the his automailed fist. His wrist clicked back and revealed a small space with what looked like to be a spark plug sticking out. A soft click was heard and a spark could be seen, suddenly that spark turned into a large spout of pure flames. Matt quickly snapped his wrist back into place and grinned. "Forge is a code name for Vulcan, the Roman God of fire and metal."
Scar nodded. "I see." He replied. "And here I thought all you could do is use basic transmutation and wave those metalic arms around like a little kid." He added with a straight face.

Kasumi sighed as she opened the door to her office Joy came running to Kasumi and sat down in front of her. Kasumi knelt down and patted Joy on the head. She stood back up going over to her desk sitting down on her chair relaxing. The young pup came over and jumped up onto iit's owner lap and curled up into a ball and fell asleep.
A small sigh escaped Kasumi as she didn't want to wake Joy so she'd just have to wait here until the pup woke up. Iin the meantime she thought about Scar and the other homunculi. Scar knew she was one of them and probably will figure out there's more like her. 'Damn it I shouldn't have been so careless...' She thought to herself closing her eyes seeming rather angry now about letting her secret be revealed. For now she'd have to plan things out based on what she knew.

"Come on,Lets just get to Headquarters and get this damn report over with."Ed told the Female soldier,totally annoyed that he had to have 4 soliders to escort him to Headquarters.
"Ya know if they'd stop treating me like a damn kid,then these Reports wouldnt be so bad,*sigh*Too bad my vacation is over...I was rather Enjoying the Peace and quiet out of the City."He walked over near the coffeeshop not far from the main door.
"Sir,I was wondering,Where is your brother Mr. Alphonse Elric?" She asked abruptly....Wondering if this would make Ed more open to an attack.(Envy if your new)
"Oh Al,He just wanted to spend alittle more time with Winry in the Country,and since hes not a dog of the Millitary like I am, I told him it could be alright that he could stay there a couple more days."
The Soldier then said."Oh alright...Just wondered cause useually He's the first person I see when I see you two".
Eds face turning red."SO WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO SAY.!?"Ed blasted at the Soldier thinking it was another stab at him for being short.
"Oh,no,no,I didnt mean it like that its just that....."the solider said sweating buckets.
"Yeah,yeah....Just because I'm short, all you people can see walking down the sidewalk is Al....I get the Joke, ha ha ha..."Ed was indeed getting ticked off at the solider.His stomach begins to grumble,Looking at the delightful cakes and pastries at the shop window."Well The Colonel can wait for me just alittle bit longer,Lets go inside,I'm famished".As Ed and the four State Alchemists Head into the Coffeeshop for a bite to eat.

The Female officer orders the other three Soldiers to stand guard at the door as she and Ed enters the Coffeeshop.Ed sits on one of the barstools and Signals the Bartender."Hey,there shorty how can I help ya."Said the Bartender Looking at Ed with a warm smile on his face.Holding his tounge and takeing a deep breath,finally able to speak without snapping said to the Bartented in a cheeky kinda way."Hey,I'll have A dozen Doughnuts,Three Cream,Two maple,Four Strawberry,three sugar,and a tall glass of Orange Juice,Oh"turning to the officer."would you like to order something?"
"Oh no thanks,I'm....not really hungry."She replied to Ed.Envy thought to himself as he just lisened to what Ed had just ordered,"Damn..Hes like the Human version of Gluttony...Ed of all people ordering all that Junk,Hmm this maybe a good chance for me to attack him."As he them smirked not noticing that Ed was still looking at him.
"Ok...."Ed said With an odd look to his face,Then turning to the Bartender Smileing and said,"Ok that will be all then."The bartender also shocked to hear what Ed had just ordered."Ehh,Comming right up."As he then walked over and got his order.
"Oh boy...mmmm....this is Sooooooo good."as Ed had Scarft down the Strawberry Doughnut.As Ed Picked up his head in satisfaction of the Delightful doughnut,Envy attempted to Swipe at Ed's Head with a Knife. But as the knife was about to make contact,Ed pulls his head back down to have a sip of Orange Juice.
"Damn it all.....Opps."Blabbed Envy as he Missed Ed's head.Ed then turned his head towards the Officer and asks,"Whats the matter?"Ed wondering why She yelled.
"Umm...I was watting a fly off you and missed thats all."Envy told Ed .
Ed then shrugs and continues to eat his Doughnuts."Damn it all,Almost got him."Thought Envy,angry at the fact that He missed Ed and he's right in front of him.Then As Ed was about to Dig in to another strawberry one.Envy moves back more so he could aim better at Ed,Then he takes a Empty glass that was still on a table and chucks it towards Ed.As the Glass was about to hit Ed,Ed's pocketwatch drops from is pocket."Damn it all" Ed mumbled as he then drops his doughnut on the plate to pick up His watch,The Glass wizing by smashing into the wall.
"Shoot,almost got him.....oh crap"Envy Quickly Sat down and pretended he didnt throw it.Ed looking around,Shugs and then finishes all of his Orange Juice.
"Hey Bartender,I'll take the rest to go.So,how much do I owe ya."
"The total comes to $12.95."As the guy handed Ed a box to put the rest of the Doughnuts into,Ed gave him the money.
"Well I enjoyed the Doughnuts ya have here,I'll have to stop by here more often."As Ed got out of his Seat."Pleasure meeting with ya,Hope to see ya soon...Oh buy the way...Names Niles Tranton"Said the Bartender.
"Mines Edward Elric,Well I got to get going,Come on Lietenent."As Ed then leaves out the front door."
"Alright Major."The annoyed and now angry Envy Said to Ed."grr...I was this close....how the...Nevermind...Time to go see Mrs. know-it-all now..Heh heh heh."He thought to himself as he followed Ed out the front also.

Kasumi sighed and rested her head on her desk. She was getting really annoyed by just about everything right now. She picked up the paperwork on the floor and began to go through it while Joy still rested on her lap. It semed like the paperwork was over flowing lately with the deaths of Scar, though actully she thought about it, she hadn't heard of any deaths in two days. What could possibly be going on to prevent him from his killings.
Kasumi shook her head and leaned back in her chair closing her eyes dozing off. Probably just over anazling the problems like always, it was a bit of a habit for her. Kasumi patted Joy on the head then crossed her arms turning her chairaway from the desk and the paperwork. ' I'll just relax for a bit, maybe then I can find Scar.' Kasumi thought as she began to calm down and relax letting the problems with the state alchemists slip out of her mind.

Adenine slowly opened her aquamarine eyes, only now waking up as the sun's morning rays hit her face. She had been unable to find her sister the previous night, and after getting soaked from the rain, she had told herself that she had to stop. So, in a small alleyway there was something out of the ordinary. It had taken her forever to think of what she needed to do, writing out the circle in the ground as the rain poured down, but she had managed to remember how to move the stone of the street and the side of the building to her will. Now there was a stone box, one side of it towards the other side of the alleyway open with a small overhang so the rain would not come into the enclosure. Surprisingly she had not managed to get herself dirty, no stains on her white ribbons and dress, but she was still damp from the previous night. Stretching softly, since it had stopped raining a while ago, she stuck her head out to look out and see how the sky looked. There were still clouds, but it appeared the day would go sunny again soon, and she very much loved the sun and the skies.
Rubbing her pale arms, still frozen and probably chilled to the bone, she realized she had to have kicked her blankets off sometime during the night. A simple, light blue fleece blanket of two layers was one of the things she kept in her heavy pack, and it might have helped her from catching a cold, might have because her throat hurt. She could leave everything where it was though, anything valuable on her at the moment, and no one would find what they could not see anyway. Stepping out of the stone enclosure, already quite well camouflaged, she put her hands together, closing her eyes. A major part of air alchemy was manipulating light and air, so creating deceptions and finding things jobs resulting in it. Forcing her hands out to the stone of the box, her heavy bag inside, the stone shimmered and then disappeared, an onlooker only seeing things behind it now. Manipulation of light was a massive part of hiding alchemy's, something she was quite good at, so she had just simply made it so light did not hit off the stone, just continuing on.
With her sister's help her specialty was really human alchemy now, but she knew so much of air alchemy she would not let such useful skills go. Stretching again with a small squeak, she smiled, shaking herself out, already warmed by the lovely golden sun. Today would be a good day, despite getting lost. Walking to the entry to the dead-end alleyway, she drew an alchemic circle on the ground, putting a trace of power into it. Now she could find her little place without trouble now, just needing to reactivate the tracker beacon she had just set. Smiling as she walked out onto the street, she began looking around, trying to see if she could find where she was. Then she saw the uniforms, people of the State escorting a boy about her size, but they had to know where headquarters was. Her sister would wait for her near headquarters, so she had to head that way. Running up to the boy in the red coat, such a sharp contrast with her being all white and gray, a smile on her face, she called out in her light, soft, and nearly timid voice.
"Excuse me! Umm, Sir? Do you know the way to the State's headquarters? I am afraid I lost my bearings last night and I don't think I know the way back...can you point me in the right direction?"
