As a simple recap of the current environment and your situation, the house has a rather sick taint and actually has a reduction in the normally available power flow the channelers are used to. So, you're not as strong as usual and it's with a wonderful taint.

Also, you have no idea if Liana is alive or not. As far as you can tell, based on the severance, she's quite dead.

Furthermore, Nozrin is awaiting people to decide which way they're going to go. Currently they are faced with a staircase going up and a staircase going down, both of which lack a discernible or obvious route to take. So.. the power is back to you people.

(Yes, I said you people. Deal with it)
