She smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck.

He pulled away from her after a few moments, smiling.
"Is that better?"
He scooped her up and held her in his arms as if carrying a small child.

She smiled and nodded, while resting her head against his shoulder.
"I..."She took a deep breath before smiling and whispering in his ear.
"love you too."

His ears perked, and his heart stopped.
"W-What?"

"I.."she looked at him and smiled softly.
"Love you too."

He smiled, and kissed her again.
His wings flaped involuntarily and they rose into the air together a few feet, before he touched down again.

She kissed him back and smiled. Her arms hung lossely around his neck.

He smiled again.
Your brother scares me... I just really wanted to tell you that...

She smiled and sighed.
"He's just very protective. The only person who has awalys been there for him is me, and he hates to see me hurt. He knows it's something that happens, but he hates it. When it came to us four I was the mother like figure and he was the father. He'll always be that way around us. I'm sorry."

No, no. It's fine. He reminds me of myself around my sister. The moment she was born I... I wouldn't put her down... I always protected her...

She smiled and nodded.
"I know the feeling."

He smiled.
She liked it... she wouldn't leave me alone...

Evelyn smiled and nodded.
"I'm surprized Niamh hasn't shown up yet, she'd be the first to admit that she, and I quote 'I want my Evy' and then she would start to cry if whoever was with her didn't find me."

He smiled.
"Allru surely has her well entertained,"

Evelyn nodded at that comment.
"It's so nice to get her out and let her met other people at such a young age compared to the rest of us." She thought back to the first time she had actually left her house to go to the great city for food and other supplies, she was 18 when that happened. She shook her head and sighed.
