Freakshow88 I know, I'll add it. My characters 31. I'd say mid twenties are a good age for a character though. I actually randomly age my characters. Take Shads for example. He's 30 for some reason now.

Quote: Debut Match Well...Put the guy over. The debut match is a show case of the wrestlers talent. Not a showcase of the other guys awesomeness, the person making the debut is a new addition to the roster, not a jobber. Put as much personality into the character as possible. Also, try not to do double debuts, someones going to lose someones going to win. Losing the first match is showing a future of an instant jobber, and nobody wants to look like a jobber...And yes, this is coming from a guy who lost his first ever RP match, its very demoralizing, and somewhat annoying if the guy won't put you over. I disagree. It depends on many factors, like you wouldn't have a debuting wrestler instantly defeat your World Champion would you? Granted, you never book a newbie in such a important posistion from the off, I'm just saying that you DO NOT have to win a Debut Match to get anywhere in a Fed and not look like a jobber! Obviously that would be down to how a character is booked, another one of the factors!

Obviously that would be down to how a character is booked, another one of the factors! Yeah like, I don't remember a debut match I actually won. RWA: lost to Jacob Figgins NWF: lost to an Undertaker wannabe EEW: (w/Mavlik) lost to Joshua Danielson and Scott Shock AOWW: lost to Snypa WWFG: lost to Undertaker and Kane (handicap against Bucky...screw you Kalos) GWWF: lost to Nathan GWF: lost to The Great Khali GzW: lost to Meph WSX: lost to Vincent PAW: (w/Mavlik) lost to Jinx and Krymzon GCW: lost to Saint Joey SWA: (w/Steve Kent) lost against a tag team from Eve Ill CSWF: lost to Mike Landry So that's the pathetic story of my debut matches. Oh yeah, there was a few I won: FIP: won against Shane Wreckless NGWE: won against Jacob Meyer OECW: won against Vamp All this to say, I don't see a reason why the guy MUST win his debut match. I mean, if he just don't deserve to win it, I don't see why he should. A guy who debuts should be judged on the same level as anyone else, just so he knows what is required to have a good match in that guild, and see if he can RP as the moderators would like him to.

I think it's considerate to put someone over in their first match, but yeah there are times when it doesn't make sense. As a booker, I avoid those situations.

Poor Marts! xd But your doing well even if you didn't win your first matches in said promotions!
2.0, you book debut matches against lower-card guys so it's a even fight?

Yes, usually I make sure a person debuts against someone mid to lower tier. However, if I feel paticularly good, I'll let them debut against one of my higher characters and let them win due to storyline interference and such.

Freakshow88 Meh. Its hard booking when nobody wants to be a jobber. I'll never Job. xd ..But like 2.0. said. As long as the match is put over. No one really should notice who was put over.ill really notice who jobbed or not.

Heh, you're not going to get angry about losing when you booked yourself to! xd Freakshow=True, but if a newbie or lower-midcard guy was going to face 2.0 for example, the wrestler should know he's being jobbed-out unless told he gets a shock victory! It's like when someone like Batista faces.....Charlie Haas! It's allllll about the factors! blaugh

I wouldn't call that a debut. I think the phrase "Warm Up" is better. You debut was your next one. xd
