Amalia smiled, "This way," she said, walking down the hallway to the right. She got out the card key and walked until they reached her room. She quickly unlocked the door and held it open for him. "Make yourself comfortable," she told him.

James walked quickly into the small room that served as Amy's private chambers and sprawled out on the couch. "Nice" He commented and looked up ay her. "So what are we going to make?" His mouth watered at the thought of delicious well seasoned food. The boy laughed and flipped over so he lay on his stomach facing her. "How can I help?" He was eager to help too, not wanted her to have to do all the work.

Amalia was already getting everything ready in the little kitchen space she had made for herself. "It's a surprise!" she replied, then she thought for a moment when he asked if he could help. "And you can grab some bay leaves out of the drawer over there," she pointed to a drawer beside him.

James rolled off the couch and stood up, then looked though the drawer. It took him a couple minutes to figure out what a bay leaf was, but once he saw it he recognized it. "Found it!" He said and handed her the small jar of large flat leafs. "Why do you have so many cooking things?" He had to ask. The only food he had brought with him was a case of 'coffee crisps', and some bottles of ginger ale that happened to be on sale when he was leaving town.

Amalia smiled, "I love to cook," she said, taking the bay leaves. She made a little omelet for James, then carefully put it on a plate. "Reminds me of home," she said, handing him the plate.

James shook his head, "Home's not a place, It's a frame of mind." His family traveled a lot and he had learned how to make someplace feel like home even if he were staying there for only a week. He had learned to love a wide variety of foods, scents, people, and customs just so that he would not feel sad for leaving anything behind. After a moment he scarfed down the omelet in one bite and smiled. "That's really good." He said and put the plate on the counter. "You’ve got a gift for cooking.”

Amalia laughed a bit as he scarfed down the food. "Thank you," she smiled at him, "My family owns a restaurant back in Venice," she told him, sitting down on her bed. "What classes do you have?" she asked, wondering if she had anything else with him.

"Venice? Sounds fancy, at the moment my family's residing in Toronto, dad just got a new job servicing computers for some company, Can't recall the name..." His father worked for so many different company’s he eventually stopped paying close attention. "Any who, classes. I've got Trigonometry, art history, European lit, Spanish - beginner, and biology." He shrugged. "I'm not to great in Spanish yet, but I hope to learn, I've always wanted to know another language besides English...Well I do speak a little French, But I mostly just read it." He chuckled. "What classes do you got?"

She thought for a moment, "Trig, Creative Writing, European Lit, Drama, and screenwriting," she replied. "If you had Italian, I'd help you with that, but I'm not good in Spanish." she smiled.

James shrugged and plopped back down onto the couch. "I'm sure I will find somebody, I'm good at that, maybe I'll just plow into them too?" He chuckled and looked up at her. "If I'm lucky they might not get hurt to badly." He leaned back and stretched his arms over his head. "You wanta go on deck, the sun it calling to me" He looked longingly at the window and bit his lip.

She smiled, getting up. "Sure," she said, "Why be cooped up inside when we have such nice weather?" she opened the door, picking her bag back up again.

Rashime walked out of his class and up to the deck. He sat down in his normal spot and sprawled out. He looked around and was satisfied that he was one of the very few people up there. he put his jacket behind his head and feel asleep.

[[Ah! This RP moves quickly...]]

Brittany awoke from her dreams to the annoying ring of her alarm clock (which was set an hour late), rubbing her eyes. She got up from her bed, and looked at her clock. "I missed my first class!" Brittany quickly gathered her belongings and headed to the class that she missed. She spoke to the teacher about what she missed, and why she missed it. After getting the notes from the previous lecture, she went to the deck to get a smoothie and relax for a bit before the next class began. Once Brittany got there, she set her bag on the floor and ordered a strawberry smoothie, quietly observing the other teenagers entering, leaving, and socializing at the deck.

"As both James and Amy walked out into the sunshine a bright and happy smile spread slowly over James’s face. He spread his arms wide and yawned. "It's so pretty out!" He exclaimed and spun around once, almost knocking into Amy. "Oops, sorry" He said and touched her arm caringly. "Don't want ya to fall again eh?"
{he he he I was waiting to throw that 'eh' in}

Amalia squeaked when James bumped into her, but was glad that he caught her in time. She grinned at him, "Not really," she replied.
