Needles and Rake sat there talking about the ways men could make. Well not really but Needles offered the assist Rake in his ways. Needles had a few tricks up his sleeve that a swords man like Rake could use. Knowing what skills Rake already had it seemed as it would suit him just well. Needles begun talking about nature and knowing ones surrounding was a key aspect of surviving in the world and the world that Rake would get into. Needles would learn him master that now.

Rake was listening carefully to Needles as he begun to talk about how the Hunting the Prey worked. It was always carefully to listen to those who gave you help and assisted thoughts. That way one could grow so much more then on their own. Rake was blessed with helpful people truly. Now he would learn how to join in the nature and how to understand what was around him. As Needles finished Rake was ready to find out if he had what Needles hoped form him. Could Rake become one with the nature so to speak.

Rake closed his eyes and Needles vanished. The world was surrounding him. He opened his senses in a whole new way. He turned and listened tot he world and heard the silence in a new way. Rake opened his eyes and he felt the way of the nature. He just have to find Needles in the bushes and behidn the trees. It would all come clear for quickly he walked over the world. His senses was able to pick up new things, new movements and traces unkwon to him before. Then it came clear he pointed to the very place where Needles was hiding. He had known it somehow, no not somehow Rake knew exactly how.

When Needles came out from where Rake was pointing both where smiling. Maybe because their mind where a bit alike perhaps. Not something one found often in other men. A few parts maybe but not like this Rake thought. Needles came up and had another thing in mind. Yet first he had to fight Rake for real and make him want to beat the technique. It was the way Needles would teach Rake and Needles told Rake that if he wasn't good enough he would kill Rake. That was the term. Rake accepted!

Rake and Needles begun to go at it. There was adifference in style and all. What in the world would there be for difference in this technique. Why did Needles needed to try and kill him. Really a big technique had it needed to be. Yet Rake was deep into this for even if Needles would just train him, it was still to the death and Rake couldn't kill Needles for it. That difference was really a big change but no matter what Rake had to continue. At the beginning it was quite a stalemate. Trying to feel each others out to find openings and weaknesses. At this point both fo them where quite fresh and not much was shown at this point.

Ben walked up the stairs of the Clockwork tower not really knowing where he was going but wherever he was going, he was getting there. He soon reached a floor with black and white tiles that made the room look like a giant chess board and looked around walking into the room. “Who are you?” A voice called out from nowhere echoing through the room. Ben looked around trying to see who spoke but couldn’t see anyone. “Who am I? Who are you? This isn’t tea time so stop being a girl and show yourself you panzy.” In an instant a strange man dressed like a weird clown appeared in front of him and gave him a hard glare. “You can call me Pin Joker…and now you must die."

Ben raised an eye brow thinking that this guy didn’t look strong in the least and tilted his head as he waved his hand a little. “Whatever you say Needle Clown.” Pin Joker jumped a little and yelled at Ben pointing at him. “IT’S PIN JOKER!!” He then reached on his belt and pulled out a rapier sword and got into a fighting stance. “Prepare yourself.” He then vanished for but a second then appeared next to him and swung his sword at his head. He leaned to the side and rolled over getting some distance between him and Joker. “What was that move. You gotta teach me that one Spike Mime.” Joker then got a look of disgust on his face as he yelled once again at him. “NO I WILL NOT TEACH YOU AND IT’S PIN JOKER!!!” Ben stood up getting into a fighting stance. “Fine, I’ll teach myself.”

He quickly dashed in rearing his fist back as he ran in for a punch but when he threw it, Joker dodged easily. He then threw a kick at his head and again Joker leaned back and dodged easily. “Huh?” Ben then jumped back to the wall and then he ran at Joker again and let lose a fury of random punches and kicks at Joker but he either dodged the hit or used his rapier do block it so Ben stopped and stood back a moment. “Ok, I’ll admit. Your pretty good Thorn Jester.” Joker came back with a loud tone. “PIN JOKER!!” He then spread his arms out to his sides and laughed out loud. A wave of sharp quills then shot out of the fur on his upper body towards Ben and he tried to jump to get out of the way but about 8 of them hit him in his legs and he stumbled to the side getting to his feet. “Huh? What was that? It didn’t even really hurt you…uuhhh…” he fell to the ground on his butt and sweated a little trying to figure out what was wrong. “What happened? I-I can’t move my legs.”

Joker laughed and pointed his rapier at the temporary immobilized Ben swishing it around a little. “Those needles weren’t ordinary needles. They were tipped with a temporary paralyzing poison and now killing you will be that much easier.” Ben gritted his teeth and tried to scoot backwards away from Joker. “You’re a sick man. I’ll never lose to a man like you Quill Comedian.” Joker flailed around in a fit of anger and pouted a bit. “Pin Joker, Pin Joker, Pin Joker!! Come on!! It’s not that hard to remember!! Now it’s time to die…Joker Illusion!” Joker then raised one foot and vanished in an instant again and appeared above Ben with his rapier aimed down at him. Joker thrusted towards him and surprisingly enough, Ben dodged it by doing a hand stand and countered by spinning around on his hands swinging his legs at him as a kick that knocked him away. “I think I got it now.” He remembered every detail of what Joker did before he vanished and wanted to test it out.

Ben stood up slowly as he still didn’t have all the feeling in his legs back but he felt them enough to manage for now seeing as the toxin was wearing off now. He smiled as Joker stood there in a defensive stance. Without any warning, he threw a punch in the air and hung his arms to his sides then imitated what he saw Joker do. He raised his foot and turned slightly then dashed at Joker. Joker was caught off guard and let his defense down for a moment but instead of vanishing, Ben only flickered and dashed at Joker so the attack was predictable and Joker easily evaded the hit stepping to the side. “Almost…” Ben slid to a stop and looked back at Joker as he was rushing him with his rapier.

Joker ran up to Ben and jabbed his sword at him which he dodged by jumping in the air then he followed by also jumping up and swashing his rapier at him franticly. Ben pulled off some terrific aerial dodging until Joker pulled out another blade and cut Ben on his side. He landed a distance from Joker and examined his wound. It wasn’t serious but it did hurt and at this rate he knew he would lose until he realized that he could feel his legs completely again. He looked up at Joker as he also landed and looked at him confidently moving a little. “Alright. This is it Rainbow Pants.” Joker’s eyes burned with anger and he yelled as loud as he could at Ben again. “COME ON!! THAT WAS THE WORST GUESS YET!!” Ben glared at the outraged Joker and slowly raised one leg as he was about to attempt the Joker Illusion.

Ben raised his leg and twisted slightly vanishing right before Joker and appearing in front of him in an instant. “Wha?! But how…?!” Joker was caught completely off guard by his own technique as Ben appeared in front of him with his fist reared back. “You piss me off clown!!” Ben flew at Joker and punched him square in the face and the after shock of the attack knocked Joker back sending him flying into a wall and crashing to the ground. Ben then walked around a little to get the feeling back into his legs completely. “Your pretty good Spear Jokester. Not pirate good but good. We should do this again some time.” Ben walked back to the stairs about to leave until he heard something.

"Huh?" Ben turned back around to see Pin Joker get back up after that hard hit and still hold his rapier by his side. "I just let my guard down for a second but no more holing back! Time for me to get serious." Joker then stood up strait and extended out his arm holding his rapier and smiled at him eeriely. He then slowly turned to Joker and glared at him giving him a different look than before. "Guess I sould be serious too then." He pulled his cutlass out knowing he should still hold back.

Joker swooshed his sword around and spoke to him through the wooshing blade. "When it comes to sword play, I think you will find that I am quite hard to hit." He didn't reply to teh joker and simply charged in wielding his cutlass at him and slashed once at him and Joker deflected it with his rapier like it was nothing at all. He then brought it back and slashed rapidly at Joker reletlessly not leaving an oppening for a counter but strangely enough, Joker blocked his assault.

Joker then broke his attack with his rapier and stabbed at him implaing his side slightly, not badly though, and making him jump back to get some range allowing Joker to go on the offensive. Joker stabbed at him rapidly making it appear as if there were many blades and he jumped farther back to avoid taking more damage. "Haha! Like that? My Rapier Style of sword play is very strong defensively. There's no way to break it." To which he replied. "Is that so. Well that's good to know."
